Had ice cream at West End creamery last week. Super close to the highway and a beautiful farm. They have over 60 flavors! The line on a Monday afternoon wasn’t bad, but the service was extremely slow. Maybe they didn’t have enough people working? There was only one window open but the girl at the window was super friendly and helpful. Overall, the ice cream was pretty okay. I got the cinnamon coffee cake, a specialty flavor. It had a decent amount of pieces of coffee cake in it and a nice streusel swirl. However, it tasted a *tiny* bit artificial and the mouthfeel of the ice cream itself could have been creamier. It definitely wasn’t icy but it could have been creamier for sure. I’d try it again and maybe get a different flavor next time to compare.

Great choices, fast and friendly service. You can go play mini golf or pet the farm animals there as well. A great family place!

Awesome ice cream, generous portions. Fun little miniature golf course. Would have tried the corn maze but at $ 11, too much money for this.

Came for the Fall Festival today. The grounds are great, the activities were really fun for the kids. The only complaint is that the Barnyard Café was rediculously slow… all they sell are sandwiches, hot dogs, fries, etc and it took 60 minutes to get our food. Highly recommend packing a picnic versus fighting the lines and the wait for the food at the café.

West end Creamery is a great local family attraction. There are so many fun things to do and the best ice cream,! Greg, the owner, ensures customer service is great and remains family friendly. Plus the best Raspberry lime Rickey’s! Great day away from electronics.

Great location, easy right off 146. I especially liked the minigolf layout. Very unusual downhill layout you don’t see much. Seems a lot of fun. It’s a good stop for a short break along with some ice cream.

Located just a couple minutes driving from Purgatory Chasm, West End Creamery was an easy pick for ice cream to end a day of hiking. To my disappointment when we got there, this place doesn’t make it’s own ice cream… At least I didn’t see any signs claiming that, and the ice cream tasted like some store brand. I got a single scoop of the Cherry Moosetracks which was almost $ 4? Steep. The flavor fell very flat and didn’t taste fresh at all. Not really what I would expect from a creamery… I like that they were located by a pond that we could sit by while enjoying our ice cream. Definitely an ideal place for a family with energetic kids that need a lot of place to run around! The surroundings were beautiful, but I wouldn’t come back for the ice cream!

I have a very, very large family so it is rather difficult for us to get together and all go out somewhere. Lucky for us, West End Creamery is an open area with sprawling hills behind it so there is plenty of room for our clan! My favorite flavor of ice cream is the salted caramel chocolate pretzel and it is divine. They offer an assortment of frozen yogurt, sorbet, and sherbet in addition to regular ice cream. There are also a few sugar free options! With dozens of flavors, there really is something for everyone. It is pricey considering you are just getting a regular scoop, so that’s one of my only complaints. West End Creamery trips are one of my favorite things about summer!

Recently through a party here and it was very nice!.. by the way Domino’s delivers here so that made it easy. When it came time to pay I had $ 335 on me in cash, and I had ended up exceeding the head count by two. Told the guy I was paying in cash and asked for the cash price if any was offered. The young guy laughed and told me it didn’t matter. So I laughed *HAHA*, shook my head and put away my $ 335 dollars and paid on a credit card instead. They don’t help me out, I don’t help them out. So that was disappointing. Instead we gave the credit card company money. At most businesses it’s useful to ask for the cash price for big purchases if you are paying that way. I regularly get small discounts at local businesses when making large purchases this way. Overall, good party. Ends up being more expensive and more work than a Zoik’s Fun Factory or Pump-It-Up after all costs if you have more than 9 guests. They don’t supply anything here except tables,(EDIT: they also provide Ice cream sundaes for the kids) but the kids love it. I would do it again I think. If you have a lot of kids though it’s just not worth it.

Great service, nice area, delicious ice cream. The cake batter ice cream is legit. Probably one of the best I have tasted. The flurrys are good too. Limited on soft serve flavors for the flurry, but a good deal. Seemed like I had 2 cups of Reese’s Pieces in mine when I ordered the large! Way more than most places put in a flurry-type dessert. We just moved to the area and know we will frequent this place often during the open season.

We had our Daughter’s birthday party here. The kids at her party had a great time at the Barnyard Bounce. The ice cream is also delicious. Our party assistant, Julia, was so nice and helpful. Owen was also extremely helpful, even assisting my husband with getting things out of our car. Everyone who works here has excellent customer service skills. We haven’t had a chance to check out the mini-golf but plan on it. We will be back!

When I first came here I thought it was a great place to go and looked forward to my visits. However, as I started to become better acquainted with the ice cream shops in Massachusetts(after a ten year hiatus) I started realizing that they are really ripping you off when it comes to portions. Bliss ice cream is pretty good, and the ingredients are ok(I know you can resist putting corn syrup in everything, as other local ice cream companies and Trader Joe’s seem to do it) and the flavors are very tasty. However, the portions and prices don’t add up. I like the beautiful scenery, and although I am too old to participate in the bounce house(but I’d love to) I am sure that is fun. The mini-golf is pretty boring and over quite fast. One thing I have to say is that they have excellent service. Their employees are friendly, well-trained, and keep a pretty clean«kitchen»(these are the weird things I look at when I go to any food establishment). However, I’d rather suffer mediocre service for bigger portions and/or slightly better quality. Because hey, you go there for ice cream, not to have your ego stroked! p. s. They often run out of things like toppings in the beginning of the summer and later in the year, ice cream flavors, and they never re-stock. Kinda lame :(

Ice cream, bouncing and animals, oh my. Took in the Barnyard Bounce this past Saturday. My daughter had a blast bouncing on the outdoor inflatable pillows for about two hours. We could have easily spent the entire day. They also had mini golf, the petting zoo and the corn maze. A little something for everyone. Did I mention the tent where they were selling a huge selection of pumpkins?

Nothing beats some good old fashioned autumn fun. Went for my very first trek through a corn maze this weekend. It was a blast and the people at West End Creamery were more than friendly and showed us how their scavenger hunt-esque«corn-undrums» worked. Basically, you have to find nine signs with a riddle in picture form. You answer the riddle by circling the word that best answers what the picture shows. It was fun, although time consuming, wandering the maze to find all nine signs hidden among the twists, turns, and dead ends. During the months where the land isn’t covered in fluffy white stuff, the creamery offers mini-golf, a barnyard bounce, kiddie go carts, a cow train, hay rides, a chance to look at all of the barnyard animals(chickens, goats, alpacas, rabbits and more), two corn mazes(one for the older kids and kids at heart like myself and one for the smaller tykes), and of course, home made ice cream and other goodies. The creamery is right down the street from Purgatory Chasm park so you can go work off some of the extra calories from that sundae.
