I didn’t love it. The bacon wasn’t fully cooked. I could have made better at home. And you couldn’t get to the bathroom without going outside because you’d have to go through the kitchen. Maybe they need to think about these things when buying the building. For a restaurant

Daughter at dance competition at WHHS, had down time and went off Unilocal reviews. Really really good breakfast spot. Very very reasonable prices and good portions. Had the western omelet with English muffin. Was worried the English muffin would be under toasted as I prefer well-done, but the grilled it. Even better! Omelet was delicious, only slight drawback would be that it didn’t appear the ham was grilled before being placed into omelet. I almost requested it, but wasn’t completely awake. Oh well. Was still really good. Coffee was good and comes in large mugs. A little slow on the refill, but I wasn’t in a hurry, so not a huge deal. Waitstaff appears to take a team approach to the small dining room, which is great. I really am not sure who«my» actually waitperson was, but for that size/style of place, works well. If they are splitting tips, take it from a former waiter to remember this before leaving and tip accordingly! I would 100% come back and may even do so when going out to breakfast just any day as its not far from home anyway.

Have had breakfast and lunch here. Breakfast is very good. French toast is some of the best I’ve had. Portions are decent and prices are fair. For lunch the specialty sandwich menu is the place to look. The Reuben is the best I’ve had. This place could stay open serving only that sandwich. The other sandwiches are good on the specialty list too, but the Reuben stands out.

I went back for breakfast recently. The breakfast was also good. I had the hash and eggs(poached) with rye. Perfectly poached and the hash is homemade. Hash has a little bit too much bell pepper taste for my liking, but was still good. Their home fries are more like a potato pancake, but good as well. I’ll go back and get an omelet next time.

We had a great first experience at Cowbells. We have frequented other breakfast establishments in town but wanted to change it up. The food was great. We got there before the Saturday morning rush but by 915am people were waiting for tables. The prices are fair and the portions are perfect. My omelet was great. It took them a while to get out check to us and the kids got a little restless but This will be out new breakfast place in town!

This is a small spot. Maybe 10 tables or so. They seem to do a decent amount of pick-up business though. I love that they do hashbrowns. They can be hard to find in NE for some reason. They also have decent biscuits and gravy. I’ve had better diner breakfast but since they offer some different options I’m more likely to head on over!

Sorry but on street parking and restrooms out the back(need to go outside and then back in) kind of made our experience not so nice. Food and service average. Prices and ambiance not enough to bring us back.

Always spectacular service; wonderful food, and a comfortable atmosphere. Despite always being busy they are never rushed and take their time to make you feel at home. There’s something very warm and familiar about the place that reads more like a friend’s kitchen than a restaurant. It’s very homey. They do breakfast right.

Everything here is fresh and delicious. I love the crunchy shredded hash browns. The hash is good but not the best I’ve had. I am not a super fan of mush corn beef, although it more than makes up for it with it’s freshness. I just prefer my hash to be shredded corn beef. Like another reviewer states– pee before you leave home. Bathroom is accessible outside only. Waitress are always super friendly and my bill always makes sense and is legible something I find can be lacking in breakfast spots.

Cute place. Clean and nicely decorated. Service was good and the girls who worked here were nice. The food was just ok. I had to keep adding salt and pepper. Not to much flavor.

Great little breakfast spot. Very cozy and nicely decorated. One of my favorite places to eat. The menu is small, but all The food is great. Service is good and the staff is very friendly. My only complaint is that to get to the bathroom you have to go outside and walk around to the back of the restaurant.

The service was great and the food came out really quick. The portions were good and the price was good too. The hash browns were very good, corned beef hash had a good flavor. The menu is small though and I’m a breakfast snob. Not bad and a nice local place for a good bite but nothing amazing.

This is my favorite breakfast place! It’s cute and clean, and the waitresses are always nice. I love the corned beef hash, and my kids love the chocolate chip pancakes and waffles. We go there all the time!

Great meal for breakfast today with the family. The service was fast and friendly too. The steak and eggs, and perfect hash browns, was all delicious. The iced tea was really good too. The kids portions were a little small but since my kids are almost 9, we should probably just have them order off the regular menu anyway. We all really enjoyed our breakfast and will be back for sure!

Clean, quaint, and delicious! Well worth the drive to Whitman, this little gem has great breakfast and lunch options all priced at about $ 6 – 8. I had the hash & eggs(2 eggs your choice with toast, corned beef, and potato hash) and the boy had the chicken BLT sandwich with fries. Corned beef was banging and when captured in one bite with the runny yolk and potato hash, divine! Chicken cutlet was juicy and had a nice seasoned crust. Server was good, but did end up charging the eggs separate from my hash & eggs. Error was quickly rectified so not a big deal. $ 20 including tip for two = a quick, belly filling lunch! Make sure you leave room for the quick drive over to PEACEFULMEADOWS in Abington(ice cream open year round!)

Boy what a wonderful place in the small town of Whitman. I was very impressed by the size, freshness and taste of the Angus burger. It was cooked to perfection and mouth watering. I found myself saying I think I’ll save the rest only to start eating it more and finally finishing it, yes it is that good. Don’t miss this hidden gem

Went here today after visiting Bostonian Barber Shop down the street! Great food, prices and staff! I had a banana iced coffee which was very pleasant! French toast was great and my boyfriend loved the omelet he ordered. I was very pleased when the waitress asked if i wanted a coffee to go! We will be back!

I have written a review for Cowbells before but it bears repeating. There is just nothing else like this place. The french toast is off the hook. My favorite breakfast is an egg white omelet with mushroom, spinach and bacon. The fresh fruit is actually fresh and the people are amazing. Dave behind the grill, comes out smiling and says hello to his customers. His enthusiasm for his business is reflected in the food. Its fresh, carefully made and beautifully presented. The waitstaff always impresses me. My favorite is Kim. She is sassy, fun and always greets her clients with a smile. I love this place and Whitman is lucky to have it. This is the epitome of a well run small business. This is Americana. Well done Cowbells. See you next weekend.

Brand new diner in Whitman. I ordered the corned beef hash omelet with provolone cheese. I have to say it’s probably the best breakfast in Whitman now. I hope they can keep it up because if they do they have a regular customer in me. The space is small maybe 30 at the most. They have breakfast and lunch.
