Papa Gino’s Pizzeria

Is it REALLY that difficult to get an order right… and delivered on time?!? Tonight, I ordered a large boneless buffalo chicken wings with extra ranch sauce. It was scheduled to be delivered at 5:30PM. At 5:40PM, I called the restaurant to find out where the order was, and was told that it would be there shortly. At a little before 6PM, I got a call saying that there was an «accident» with my food and that the driver grabbed the wrong order– and went back to get the right order. I was initially offered a $ 5 credit, but asked for the meal to be comped because it was not my mistake. OK fine. The order came, but it was the WRONG ORDER! Yes, it was boneless chicken wings with extra ranch, but not the flavor I ordered. Called back the restaurant to ask for the RIGHT order to be delivered… it’s now almost 6:30PM– 60 MINUTES AFTER MY ORIGINAL ORDER WAS SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE! This isn’t the first time this particular restaurant screwed up my order. Even if you are supposedly slammed with orders and understaffed, it really isn’t that difficult to make sure the order gets to me– correctly and on time. Every time. It’s time to get your act together people!
P. S. If I was allowed to give 0 stars for this particular restaurant, I would.

Delivery is prompt and friendly. I order online and everything is always exactly as requested. The quality of the food is way better than other fast food restaurants whether it be a salad, a pizza, or a sub. Even the burgers are great.

Hey guys. So it was my night off from work last night and i wanted to catch up on season 2 of GoT (I know I’m behind, but let me live.) and i was absolutely CRAVING some pizza/“ZA” after I saw all of Kahl Drogo and Khaleesi’s dragon babies. I pnline ordered around 10pm for some pepperoni/​onion XL bc kahl drogo inspired me to put on some lbs.
Just as stannis was beating the $hit out of all those peasants on king’s landing, I put in my order. I felt like a 5 year old boy in christmas eve as my mouth was drooling awaiting my za. Every noise, every car that drove by my house I jumped off the couch and looked oustide. I haven’t jumped this fast off my couch since N64 came out in 1996 and I found it under my christmas tree. Around 11:20, I realized it had been an hour and 20mins since I placed my order. i was getting SERIOUSLY ancy. So I hopped on the google and found the phone number for PGs and gave them a ring. They guy on the other line carelessly told me that
«oh yea, that order will be ready first thing in the morning.» Are you SERIOUS? I ordered a friday night pizza, not a 10am saturday morning ‘za. Who does that? Really?
Like, when were you gonna tell me? 4am? Delivery service is done? Excuse me? i went to TK o’sheas and had their inferior pizza instead. Would have much rather had some papa G’s but hey, what are you gonna do. Really lame they didnt deliver tho. Dont advertise delivery service if you arent gonna do it.

I agree with some of the other reviews (in the past). They were incredibly slow and very unagreeable. Since then it seems to have new management and new people. The wait is always a bit longer than other «regular» local pizza establishments, but the food quality and consistency has seemed to be the same everytime I’ve gone there recently.
The manager always jumps to greet and the other people at least acknowledge now. It’s a much better atmosphere. Food always tastes good.

Service continues to get worse and worse. Even with 10 or more staff on! Register biscuit on the verge of tears, my order was made incorrectly, long waits and out of basic meal staples, like chicken for buffalo chicken tenders!

The manager is horrid! She yells at all the employees and it brings back memories of managers I have had in the past.
The pizza could be better, they’ve never made my pizza right. It’s not hard, bacon no cheese (I’m allergic to dairy).
I’ll go back, just not often.

I’ve been going to this Papa Gino’s for about 25 years. Papa Gino’s pizza has had it’s ups and downs over that time. Is it the best pizza around? Probably not, but as far as chains go, it is the best. I would take Papa Gino’s over Domino’s, Pizza Hut, or Papa John’s, any day of the week. Always check to see what deals they’re running, and if you aren’t in the mood for a pizza their subs are better than their partner D’Angelos. I know people on Unilocal tend to be anti chain, but Papa Gino’s still has that local feel.
