long time customer at Douglas and I came across Jason T’s review and I thought it was completely out of line. Jason I think your taste is more along the lines of a jack n the box or burger king where they have frozen onion rings for 99 cents and you can pick up your food at the counter. we aren’t all smart enough to realize the difference between a real onion and fake frozen food. and just because a worker doesn’t speak English doesn’t give you the right to criticize them, they are just tryin to make a living. paying 13 dollars for real food and table service is a deal if you ask me, but I think you should stick to 99 cent meals or maybe have your mom pack you a lunch. maybe that way u can save up and buy a Porsche of your own bud.

Some times the food takes long because they are really busy all day, but it dosent matter because the food is to die for, best burritos and chili cheese fries in town. Also their ice cream is amazing would recommend trying it out I always go back to Douglas because it keeps on satisfying!

I don’t understand how I waited in the drive through for 20 minutes and still got old fries. Fries that I ordered with seasoning, and of course didn’t end up with any seasoning on them. We didn’t get our drinks until 5 minutes after getting our food. And we payed $ 17 for 2 cheeseburger specials when I called to complain the lady told me that she knows no one ordered«cheese fries» in the past 30 minutes so I would need a receipt that of course they didn’t give me. When I corrected her on the cheese fries she changed it to «chili.» SEASONING!!! Still waiting for a call from the manager that I’ll probably never receive so I’ll give it a few days before I call around for the owner.

I’m not acknowledged at the register. I ordered a Tuna Melt with grilled onions($ 6.49) order of onion rings($ 4.79!!!) FIVEDOLLARONIONRINGS. and a large drink($ 2.29) so I guess this is how the owner keeps the yellow Porsche Carrera 4S outback gassed up?! The restaurant is very clean and pretty so I took a seat in a booth towards the back so I could see the view from the glass door. As soon as my food arrives(with no words spoken by the women server) another worker out of no where starts cleaning the already immaculate glass door right next to me. spraying glass cleaner allll over the place!!! I sat in the back for 1. the privacy 2. the view. and 3. a television that’s mounted on the wall. So once the glass cleaner lady finally finishes her very thorough unnecessary clean I ask if she can change the television channel that’s currently on Univision which nobody is watching except for her or course. she says okay and walks away… 10 mins later she returns to tell me that she doesn’t speak English and asks if I want to leave the channel on Univision which is just completely insane. I tell her no and ask if she could change the TV to channel 7. she laughs in confusion and walks away. A-Holes! Tuna fish tasted like a $ 3 sandwich

Drive thru takes foerever, and when you finally approach to pay they forget your order. Maybe it was my luck of the draw, but the two times I’ve been here, the same thing happened. Ordered my breakfast burrito at 11:02 didn’t get it until 11:25. It’s one burrito!

No thank you! First time trying them out since I was working around the corner I got their Grilled Chicken Salad to go. When I opened it up it looked delicious so I dug right in. I soon found out their chicken was really over cooked and tuff so I took it off and placed it on the side. I began to enjoy the greens of the salad when I found a hair!!! It looks like a mustache or eyebrow hair but sorry that’s where I draw the line! If I could give this place a zero star rating I would!!!

Food is common as any Burger joint… But they’re service is horrible! When ever I walk in they don’t even greet you or smile… Literally had a staring contest for 3 minutes before she decided to ask if «Can I help you?» For tastier food and friendlier service I would travel further to Michael’s Burgers on Slauson/Norwalk! A smile goes a long way… I always leave Douglas with a very sour attitude.

This place is SLOW. 40 min and my order still wasn’t ready. How long does it take to make a pancake breakfast, breakfast burrito, avocado cheese burger and fries. Ppl that came 10 and 15 minutes after me got their food first. The worker said oh they were her before you. I said no the were not I even showed her my receipt. Mine said 9:00 and theirs said 9:07 and 9:15. Told her to give me my money back because they ONLY had the pancake breakfast ready nothing else. Took my money and went to Rubi’s.

Just ordered a chicken salad with 2 cars ahead of me. Waited for 25 minutes for it. And was it worth the wait… not at all. You’re better off going across the street to DOUBLEZ. They have better food and better service.

Came here on a weekend. Drive through went decently fast, not so slow. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Service was ok, fast food standards what you would expect. The burger was very thick, it was decent in terms of taste. It was generally pretty average in terms of being a fast food burger. The fries were thick and plentiful which I did like, but nothing stood out to me on the burger compared to other fast food places. I wouldn’t go back but I were to go back, I’d try something else.

I ordered to-go and the wait was about fifteen minutes. The price of the food is pretty good. I got a double cheeseburger, a jumbo corndog and a horchata for ten bucks. Whoever suggested the double cheeseburger has a huge appetite! It was an enormous buger, but I finished most of it. Where do you even get buns that big? Despite the heaviness, the onions and cheese complimented the meat and bread. The corn dog wasn’t as jumbo as it claimed to be in its name, but it was simple and it smelled amazing. The horchata wasn’t home made, so I feel like it’s better to just get a soft drink there. I noticed the menu had breakfast foods like omelets with avocado and it also had healthier options like chicken salad or a chicken avocado sandwich. As you can see, I really like chicken and avocado. I’ll be trying that next time.

I came here and I order breakfast and they took long to bring it, I thought it would be worth the time but to my surprise while tasting the eggs I saw my sausage had two hairs. I told the waiter and she didn’t believe me she had the nerve to tell me ‘I don’t see anything’ I told her the hair wasn’t from me so she took it back. I would of give it one more try but after the waitress doubt what I told her I won’t be coming here again.

Terrible customer service, we walked in and no one acknowledged us. Instead the employees just laughed among themselves. It wasn’t until 5 minutes later that an employee began to take our order. She had a look that made it seem like she did not want to be here and took really long to input the order. Avoid this place, bad bad service.

My FAVORITE burger joint!!! I’ve been coming here since 1982! Awesome root beer floats, onion rings homemade! The burgers are the best!!! I NEVER eat burgers from anyone else! Crunchy hard tacos are BOMB! Chile cheese fries are delicious! They make their own Chile which is nice and thick not greasy! the owner just dumped all kinds of money into this place & it shows! It’s clean and beautiful inside. TV with surround sound! People here are good hard working folks who really try to make you happy. Check it when you’re hungry You won’t be disappointed!

This place is so good. The meat is cooked to perfection. I had a double cheeseburger and that thing was flawless. I got full but not over stuffed. I haven’t had a burger that good in a long time. The fries have a really good taste. Having the soda machines outside is a big plus. I hate asking for refills. I think this is my new spot. The only bad thing is that the drinks were small but it can be overlooked since you could refill.

Came here for lunch and found that the portions are generous. Ordered the pastrami and was stuffed after eating it. Next time I will definitely split. Ate inside and the service is alright. It’s a grease pit so don’t expect to find any healthy options. It was a warm day and the smoke from the grill filled the air and make it kind of uncomfortable to sit inside. Haven’t tried the drive thru, but seeing the cars come and go it’s a tight squeeze. This is a spot for your typical burger lunch place. It’s a repeat after trying all the other ones on the street. I’d rotate around since they all seem the same.

If you value customer service avoid this place. The person working the drive-thru was rude and when asked a question about their daily specials, SHE sounded bothered. First time I’ve ever backed out of a drive-thru. Instead of advertising your restaurants anniversary you might want to focus more on your customer service

I would have given this Restaurant 5 stars but for some reason sometimes when I catch the cashier on a wrong day they will give me attitude but besides that the food is great and I’ve been coming here since I was a kid if you haven’t tried it I recommend coming down today is Douglas and getting yourself a pastrami sandwich

I came here for lunch and ordered a double cheeseburger combo, which came out to about $ 8, which isn’t that bad. The burger was pretty big and good. They’ll stiff you on the drink cup though. I thought it was going to be one of those regular drink sizes you get at all fast food joints, but the cup they gave me was the size of the drink that you can get from a kid’s meal. It’s just a standard neighborhood hole-in-the-wall burger joint.
