Avoid this place for mechanical repairs, here is what happened.
I went to this place on 1−16−16 with an appointment at 11;00am.
The reason of my visit was due to a road noise in the car, since the beginning I was thinking
the problem was one of the tires so i decided to take it for a «professional» opinion which did not happen here. To start with even with the appointment i had to wait 2 hours for the car to be check and they told me I needed an alignment which would cost $ 84.99. I was OK like OK lets do it. After the alignment was completed I took it for a test drive and the road noise still there. I even told one of the employees that the problem maybe the tire and they said NO is not the tire. Another employee approached to me without even testing the car whatsoever and he said it needs a repair worth $ 997.98 (come on this car has only 34.000 miles still under manufacture warranty and they are recommending this repair to eliminate the road noise.
(according to them the car had defected Bearing & Seals Front-​left) (work order 154 208)
So I said no I don’t think that’s the issue with the vehicle. So i decided to pay only for the alignment which was already done and it was good for nothing. Same day 1 hour later I took my car to another local shop call «petes tires» and I was told that the problem was the tire
and nothing else was bad or defected. So I paid for a new tire and guess what problem SOLVED no more noise.
Very unprofessional service from Firestone complete auto care asking for a repair worth almost $ 1000 when the problem was only the tire value of $ 109

Avoid at all costs. I took my G37 here a couple of months ago, and they told me I needed $ 800 worth of repairs.
I ended up taking it into the Infiniti dealership where I purchased it from, and they assured me there was nothing wrong with it. SCAM!

I went in yesterday to get a tire Rotation and alignment since I bought my trires there and bought the alignment pkg. The gentlemen said they were extremely busy and for me to make an appt. for tomorrow which I did. So here I leave work early today for my 330 appt. same thing a Lil busy but will have your car ready by 6. Luckily for me I live down the street so I walked over there at 630 since I didn’t get a call thinking maybe an oversight. I get there my cars parked so I figured my car was ready. Not. So he starts telling me this and that I walk away from him I was so upset. I told him to cancel the oil change. He says it will take ½ hour to do rotation and alignment well it didn’t it took an hour. Then I go get my paperwork and he says they will bring your car out in a minute. The gentlemen that drove my car out took the plastic off my seat and didn’t even say a word. Not even a Good evening or a thank you for keeping my car for 4 hrs.

Horrible service. Got there at 7 am, no cars in the lot and they wouldn’t bother to help me because I didn’t have an appointment. They suggested I make an appointment for a later time or the next day. Unfortunately this is not the first time this happens to me.

Had my wife take my truck in for alignment today. Ask her to tell them to give me the before and after specs, they tell her the Machine isn’t working for the before but they would take a picture of it and send it to me. What kind of BS is this, is it cause she’s a woman WTF

I tend not to give 1 stars unless they deserve it. But I came here for a break job no biggie I needed them done. Next thing you know I’m being charged 1200 for breaks I’m like ummmmm no not even bmw charges that much they dropped it down to $ 870 I still said no. At the end they still tried to charge me $ 19 break check when it’s free. Avoid… Avoid.Avoid.

It take 3 ½hour just to oil changed my car!!! I get inn at 8:00 am to check inn. Costumer rep told me it will only take 1 hour to hour and half, pass 2 hours they took my vw inside there shop. 10:20 am they took my car up and took out the oil, 10:40 am took down the car, 11:00 am still waiting for them!!! HOW LONG IT TAKES JUST TO POOR THE OIL??? The guy who works in my car keeps getting back and fort instead finish the job first then move on to the next one!!!

I went in to get my tire checked for defects on a car that I bought brand new and the tire ruptured on the freeway without any type of road hazard. Under the manufacturer warranty if there was a problem it would be covered through them; this was a toyo tire. The guy at the front desk looked at me like he didn’t know what a manufacturer warranty was. When I showed him the paperwork/​pamphlet he had to take it in back to ask his manager about it. He came back and said we had to call Toyo to file a claim. Even though the paperwork says the opposite. I called Toyo and was told they should take care of everything and that there was no need for me to contact them. They get one review because they were not at all helpful and stood their ground even though they had no idea what they were talking about

fraud fraud fraud… call better business bureau n report them! parts are not even being changed… but charged! you will wait longer then needed! poor service. go to another location to get your car fixed. read all reviews… they will over charge you!

Came in today to get an oil change and asked about a tune up as well. Being late and near closing time I thought they would turn me away. I was surprised when they were able to perform all of the services I wanted on my Yukon and didn’t have to wait such a long time. they were prompt in getting to work on my truck and having it completed in a quick rime. I was on the road again within 2 hours. I have had work done here before and the price has been reasonable and they have always treated me with respect and courtesy. Would definitely recommend this place and would bring my truck back for service. Alberto and his team were great.

Alberto and his team did a fantastic job repairing my tire. It was near closing time but he didn’t hesitate to help us out.

Good honest place. Ive been there a handful of times and feel very comfortable taking my vehicles there. They have good customer service and their prices are competitive. The guys took care of me today in checking for my transmission oil leak. I would recommend this place.

These guys have always taken good care of my cars. They are honest and don’t mess around. I highly recommend this shop. Their prices are decent as well.

Horrible customer service. Will never come back here again. Don’t bother coming here if you’re a woman. They will work on men’s cars first. AND don’t bother making an appointment. They just do what they want anyway. It’s a waste of time.

Even though they talked me into the free alignment for life deal, so I can go get my tires aligned for free anytime I want there, I will NEVER go there for such service.
I bought four expensive tires (run flats) about a year ago. Things went fine until I went there for a realignment. Within just a few thousand miles, two tires were extremely worn around the edges and I had to replace them. Of course, I blame Firestone. Their faulty realignment ruined two good tires.
My conclusion: Their free alignment for life offer is a sham since their goal is to sell you new tires.
I believe that I cannot trust their entire corporation.

About two months ago I went on a Wednesday at 6:14pm to get an alignment done and I purchased the lifetime alignment. A couple days later I had my two rear tires replaced by Pep Boys for road damage so on that next Wednesday I went back to Firestone at 6:00pm to have an alignment done and they tell me there’s too many cars in the lot and it wouldn’t be possible to do the alignment but the best time for me to come would be once they open at 7:00am the next day. I got upset because I don’t feel they should be telling me when it’s convenient for them to do the alignment it should be the other way around! But whatever I went back the next week at 2:00pm with my gf and it took about an hour for the alignment BUT once the job was «done» they mistakenly thought the car was owned by my gf who was waiting in the lobby. They walked up to her and told her some stuff needed to be done to the car and it would cost around $ 600.00 and well she told the guy the owner (me) is outside talking on the phone. The guy walks up to me and tells me the front wheels are not balanced and it would cost me either $ 40.00 right there one time or $ 75.00 for lifetime balancing! I was pissed off because the front wheels weren’t touched at all since the Pep Boys installation three weeks ago and two weeks ago when I had the alignment done by Firestone it wasn’t reported that the front wheels were out of balance. I tell the guy I’m not paying for any balancing and I asked the man if the alignment was done, he told me yes and walked away from me but I yelled out to him that I wanted to see the computer alignment print out and he told me ok but can you believe it! He went and talked to a tech inside and that tech then went to DO THE ALIGNMENT! A bunch of crooks I tell you! And also idk why the tech needed to pop my hood and look inside my engine bay buy he touched my heat shield with his dirty greasy hand and he left a permanent grease smudge on it. Beware!!!

I just purchased 4 new tires from this location and the service was amazing!!! Alvaro was very helpful. he informed us over the phone that they only had two of the specific tire i wanted in stock but they could get the other two the next day. i took my truck in to put the two on and when i came back in an hr they had gone to get the other two tires from another location so i wouldn’t have to come back the next day. they weren’t pushy about getting other services done, they just informed me of the prices in case i wanted to come back. i LOVED the service i received because they went out of their way so i wouldn’t have to. Highly recommend this location.

In September 2011, and in need of brakes for my car, I was given an estimate of between $ 500 & $ 600 for a front end brake service (I don’t remember the specific amount and no longer possess the paperwork). I decided to leave my car, a 2004 Mercedes Benz, at this location and have the front brakes replaced. A few hours later I received a phone call informing me that the rotors on my car were not standard and would require a special order from the MBZ dealer. Additionally, the cost would now be $ 700 as a result. I ok’d the additional charge and the work was finished.
Fast forward to May 2013 and the reason for this review. After experiencing severe pulsation (the steering wheel would shake violently when braking), I take my car to the local MBZ dealer to address the problem. I’m informed by the service tech that the reason for the severe pulsation is that the rotors which were replaced by Firestone, are after market rotors (not made by MBZ) and are the wrong size for my car! Firestone put on rotors that were too small and as a result the brakes have worn in such a way that a lip has developed on the brake pads, causing severe pulsation when stepping on the brakes. So not only did they use the wrong size parts, the service advisor, Enrique, lied and said they were using rotors purchased from MBZ. It has cost me $ 1100 to get the brakes replaced at the dealer and sufficed to say I will NEVER be returning to this Firestone location, or any other for that matter. One star only because you can’t leave zero! Stay away from this shop!!!

I brought my Acura in to repair a tire which was repaired at the Firestone location in Walnut but was still leaking. I left my car so I could get my tires rotated and repair the leak.
Two hours later I received a call from Ernesto saying my tire that my leaking tire could not be repaired and there were nails in two other tires and only one could be repaired.
Since I had road hazard protection they offered to give me credit of around $ 62.00 per tire and with all the added extras I was looking at another additional amount of money and a up charges of another $ 201.00!
I advised Ernesto this didn’t sound like any deal when I knew I could get brand new tires at $ 119.00 each at America’s Tire and told him to prepare my car for pick up.
Firestone Tire centers is always trying to up sale additional services that are supposedly needed. On the last visit they said I needed a timing belt at 90k miles and the factory said it’s not necessary until 120k miles. That’s bullshit, also when I called for quotes at various locations on the same tires I would constantly get prices with large price differences. I think these technicians are on commission or have to meet quotas!
I advised Ernesto that I’m done with Firestone and they have lost a customer. It’s sad that every time I would go to Firestone I felt I was getting screwed over in some way. Life’s to short for this.

So I got my tires here many moons back and it’s a place I trust even though I don’t know a single person nor know for a fact that they do good work.
It’s just faith. I dunno if it is worth buying the lifetime wheel alignment via Firestone because I’ve only gone twice in the 4 years I’ve had my car.
I tried making a reservations online last night but today was unavailable. I just figured I’d wing it since I had something going on in the early afternoon.
I arrived at 9am and was told another appointment was ahead of me and that it would take an hour. At 9:20 that alignment spot was still vacant so I asked the manager what is their grace period for no shows, shortly after that my car was being serviced.
I figured if I just sat their and said nothing I’d still be sitting their. Plus I had an appointment.
All in all this place does did their job and I was on my way.
