Forever Catalina

I absolutely love this boutique. The clothes is beautiful and the prices are great :) I strongly recommend this store, the owner is very friendly and helpful. I love forever Catalina

A girl gave me a flyer on the street to come and check out a boutique called, «Forever Catalina». So my boyfriend and I went to check it out. I was a little worried at first because the window display was drivin’ towards «Skinny Sizes» and I’m a plus size girl (XL –1X). I decided to go in and check it out anyway because, what clothing store doesn’t cater to plus sizes’ too? Lucky for me there was a huge sign at the entrance saying that they had plus sizes clothing. I walk in and 2 girls greet me and let me know that there is a sale going on in in the back (cool). I ask immediately where could I find plus size clothing in which I am directed to a small rack in the back by someone who seemed to be the manager (?) behind the counter on the phone. The rack only had 4 different styles of chiffon shirts that my mother would love to wear but not a woman in her mid 20’s. I guess the manager (?) saw my face because she said oh we have more plus size in the back I just don’t bring it out because «they» don’t support me. I thought, hmm ok, i’m a plus girl let’s show you some love then, and I asked to see what she had. She brought out 1 fakeskin dress in 3 different colors (not into it), so she goes back and gets a black and purple dress and a blue and red dress (getting better). I ask to try on the purple and red dresses, *I should mention that I had on a very tight Corset and needed a little help putting on the dresses, but after the plus size girls don’t support me comment I didn’t feel confident in her «helpful skills», so I asked my boyfriend to help. After about 5 – 8 min of trying on the dresses I settle on the red one. It was so cute! BUT while trying to get out of the dressing room with all of my clothes on this woman (manager?) pops her head behind the curtain and says in the worst attitude,“If you need anymore help, I can do it not him, besides we have someone waiting to use the dressing room then flings the curtains closed. I look out to see who is waiting and lo and behold it’s one of her desired customers a «Skinny Girl» I was all ready to buy the dress and accessories and even get some of my plus size model friends to come through to show her some love but her attitude killed it. I walked out of the store wishing to say some choice words to her.
If you are beautifully curvy, full-​figured, plus size, etc… don’t waste yours and «her» time. You won’t be given the same attention for the same dollar spent.

I LOVE this boutique!!! I had no idea what I wanted to wear to a special event last weekend and stopped in last minute as I was running to grab a quick cup of coffee. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Chanel was extremely helpful and they have sooo much to choose from and EVERYTHING was sooo cute and extremely affordable since I got a discount they’re running for the rest of the month. I walked in with nothing and walked out with a new outfit, great accessories and a new pair of shoes! Thank you Forever Catalina for styling me for my special event! I got TONS of compiments! I will definitely be back :)
