Scammer! Yvette ruined my whole case. I was so naïve and desperate for help and she used that to her advantage so she can take my money.
First of all, I tried to put my judgement aside but Yvette is definitely a pill popper. For being in the legal profession, nothing about Yvette appears normal. She wears leggings to work, doesn’t brush her hair or wear make-​up and her nails are a mess. I CAN’T BELIEVE I put my case in her hands. From day one my paperwork was full of typos and things I didn’t say. On top of that, she had me do all the leg work at the court house on top of going back and forth to her. Every time I went to her office my file could not be found in that mess they have. There were times when I tried calling her and the call would drop… she wouldn’t call back or she would tell me that she was busy and would return my call and NEVER did. All she ever did was find ways to make more money off me and on the final day after my custody hearing (when I lost), Yvette didn’t even call me to ask how it went. You know why? Because she doesn’t care, she’s just money hungry to feed her addiction. Do not make the same mistake and go to her.

DO NOT go to this place unless you are willing to put up with a very poor type of work.
Yvette claims to be a lawyer which she is not. you are welcome to look her up on the attorneys bar website. She does not have a bar license number. She charges for everything in separate pieces in which that is considered malpractice because in family law everything needs to be file in conjunction because it affects the overall case. she is quick to jump and quote you on the price yet NEVER returns phone calls and does not update you on your case in addition, she seems to be lost every-​time you ask her about your case.
She has these 18 year olds in which one of them is her daughter working the paralegal/​front desk position. the girls are always on their phone and seem to be lost.
Yvette is never at the office.
She screwed my case over and now I have to re-​file everything she screwed up. She TAKES your money and does not do the job.
Please take your money elsewhere and find true help with your legal issues. She tends to screw everyone over based on these Unilocal reviews and my experience.

Well after I read the reviews here I’m glad I had the following experience… I went in to seek legal advice related to my business and related laws around contests and raffkes etc. Its a long story as to why I would need such advice and won’t bore you with it here. Anyway. I went in and coukdnt get past the idiot girl with too much make up on atvthe front desk. She seemed to busy plastering make up on her face with building tool’s to give a damb and simply cut me off when I tried to talk, assuming I was sellibg something. Their loss and my gain it would appear. Thanks to all reviewers and I agree… stay away! !

She lost all my paperwork for a lawsuit and didn’t seem to care. She was never at the office and when she was her screaming kid was jumping around and playing with her papers. She probably used her crayons on my work and thew it away! Totally unprofessional.

she’s ghetto, unprofesional and looks like she’s working out of the Santa Fe Springs Swap-​Meet. wich is probably where she needs to be at with her level of service!
Bummed bcz ppl that go there are eager for help and guidance. and she just lies and misleads ppl.

I do not know if this lady knows the law well only to uses it to her advantage while dealing with her customers to ensure optimal income and minimum actual work. Or does she not know shit from shinola and blew her way through school? I can’t tell I really can’t.
YET AGAIN nothing this broad says was true. Go here if you like going through a run around while wasting lots of money, time, and patience. I wish I could have prevented my parents from going to the first one she found in the yellow pages but she is stubborn about things like that and does what she thinks is right when in actuality it is usually people taking advantage of her.
NEVER GO TO THIS WOMAN!!! She takes advantage of people and even has her employees lie for her. Not professional. I am going to alert the better business bureau on this lady you can believe that.

My Husband hired Formalaties for child support modification’s issues. We dont recommend it to anyone They are unorganized they take long to file paperwork and you constantly have to call them for updates on your case. And dont Hire their so called very experienced Lawyer they dont communicate with eachother you’ll get nothing taken care of and will be out of alot of money!!!
You have to pay up front and you’ll be waiting forever to get anything taken care of
