Great place! Has small play structure… tennis courts… don’t like that they don’t have bathrooms… located next to the YMCA and Whittwood Library!

Great place to play tennis, I always come here to play. The courts are free which is a huge plus as I know other places charge you by the hour. The courts are pretty clean with great lighting! There are no tennis ball machines here to rent so if that’s what you’re looking for this is not the place. Tip: «first come first serve» there’s no reserving courts so it may or may not be full. There was always plenty of courts for us to play on when we went which was typically around 4 or 5pm and once during the morning around 10 or 11am. Tip: lights do not turn on by them selves; there is a button on the side typically on the same side as the entrance. You do not have to turn off the lights after, they will eventually shut off.

It’s a tiny little park. I drove here after having lunch at a local restaurant to sit and relax a bit. I wanted to fell the openness of the field and get some fresh air. Well, I drove around trying to locate the park and when I finally got to the grass area, I said«eh!» Then I left. I guess it’s great for local kids to come play at the playground.

Nice courts with lights too. There are a few tables with benches and a grill nearby for a picnic too.

This place is great for kids. I’ve taken my cousins here countless times as well as I’ve come here with friends to play tennis, do homework, or just hangout killing time. There’s always families here with their kids and its a great location next to the Whittwood library and the YMCA. Its also pretty close to the Whittwood Town Center so it gets a lot of people coming and going from there. This park gets super busy during the St. Bruno carnival.

A great little park that i have many chilidhood memories from. Everything you could want from a park(as a child) was here. a Great park to take your children to(if you have any) or just enjoy the sunshine one sunny day.

My buddy Pablo and I ended up here after he convinced me that it wasn’t worth forking out $ 8 per hour per court at Palm Park. He knew about these courts already and it was my first time playing here. There are 4 courts here and they are first come, first serve! Did I mention they are FREE! Well maintained. Great surface play for free courts… pretty fast and medium bounce. Just the way I like it! I would like to try them out at night one of these days. Pablo says the lights are really bright and there is great visibility! The only thing I noticed that was a tad strange was the court we played on, by the serve line, it felt like a slight incline, so the court is not evenly level. I felt like a pitcher on the mound! jk, that’s a little exaggeration! ;-)

This little park is right next to the Whittwood Branch of the Whittier Library and Leffingwell Elementary School. I rode, walked, and drove past this park almost every day when I was a kid, as I went to school across the street from Leffingwell at St. Bruno’s. There’s a playground with pretty basic equipment, and then the park is just open green space beyond that. I can imagine it’s great for playing ultimate Frisbee or football, but honestly, I haven’t spent much time here. We used to shoot off model rockets in the Leffingwell School yard. I think it was against the rules at the time, but it’s easy enough to jump the chain-link fence, if there still is one. If you park in the library parking lot, make sure it’s legal to do so. It would suck to go to the park and come back to find out that your car has been towed.
