Cost Cutters

There were two ladies in side and one customer. I walked in and no one acknowledged me there. I stood there for 4 minutes while one lady helped the customer pay, the other swept and made sporadic conversation and NOT ONE of them said «good morning, hello, we will be right with you» or anything of the like to me the entire time.
I am big on customer service when you are in a service oriented position. So if you act like you don’t want me there then to me that means you don’t want my money either. I have never had such a horrible cut! I am not very picky when it comes to my hair, but it was ridiculous how she cut it! I was trying to change my hairstyle, so I showed her a few pictures of how I wanted it. In less than 10 minutes she was «done», and looked nothing like what I was expecting. I told her several times were the cut was uneven, and still didn’t get it right. A simple cut turned into a really crooked and uneven fade. Top it off with she cleaned my goatee. instead of ask if I wanted it do whith the clippers. She just shaved it off! If you tell you are a waitress not a hairstylist. The owner needs to know how to hire people who know how to cut hair. I paid $ 17 for a HORRIBLE haircut and paid another $ 15 to someone else to fix it that same day.

I’ve been coming to Cost Cutters for about 5 years now and I’m very satisfied. My stylist is Kendall and through the years she’s become a dear friend. I always know I will get a great cut and for much less than I would pay at another salon. I have recommended Cost Cutters to family and friends, and I do so each time, with confidence. It’s always a good idea to schedule an appointment, especially on weekends.

Don’t expect to get in and out quickly. The hairdressers are REALLY slow. The only upside to this place is that the stylists do a good job cutting hair and can recreate a style from a picture. But the wait time is out of control. They are always understaffed during rush times and the stylists are more concerned with gossiping than getting hair done in a timely manner.

I love coming here. The staff is always friendly and I have three (3) great stylists, each with their own cutting styles, that cut my hair great! I’ve been going to Cost Cutters since they were at the Quad prior to moving to Whitwood Town Center.
I’m glad the owners decided not to close this store down as previously planned and merge the store with the La Mirada store. I’m very happy here and will keep coming here as long as it stays open! Staff here has cut and trimmed my hair for three photo shoots and two of them were used for two published books!
And the most important feature about this place, you will get a hair cut for a reasonable price. Not two clips (cuts) for $ 45 and that’s it (like a place I know in Arcadia)!
