Only come here if you already hate your eyebrows and wanna make them worse, I used to come here all the time and only liked them when the older lady would do them but the last time I went they completely screwed them up. For starters they cut a line in my left eyebrow and it was so hard to try to cover the gap up and they made them extremely thin. Next, they hiked up their prices, for what? Their service is horrible. Go to Ellie in uptown, she’s such a sweetie and she has helped me grow my eyebrows out and completely reshaped them! She only charges $ 5

This is the second time they have done this to me. Asked me to come back cuz they are eating lunch. There are two of them there. Can’t they take turns eating lunch so they don’t turn customers away. I don’t have time to come back and forth. Bad customer service!!!

This place is HORRIBLE. I was in desperate need of threading and I saw this place as I was shopping. I walked in and they were eating. My bad, it was probably lunch time. So they put their food down and go wash up. But the whole entire time, the lady doing my eyebrows STANK! Her breath was kicking and all over my face! Ugh. HORRIBLE. To top it off, while I have naturally thick eyebrows, I came out looking like Ronald McDonald! The older lady just completely made my eyebrows thin with no shape and uneven! I was upset. I’m lucky my eyebrows grow at an unnatural rate. I will NEVER come back here! I don’t care if I look like Oscar the Grouch! I should have just gone to my regular eyebrow lady. Smh. Lesson learned. I wish I can give zero stars.

My younger sister used to come here often because it’s so close to home. The older woman stayed on the phone the entire time we were in her shop and threaded my sisters eyebrows way to thin and uneven. Once she realized we weren’t going to tip her for her bad service she threw the receipt, pen and card back at me. I do not recommend at all.
They recently just hiked up their prices as well. I don’t understand why if they’re not even good at what they do.

The lady here did my eyebrows way too thin. The thread they use is also very harsh on your skin. Go somewhere else.

I’ve been coming here on and off for a few years now because the location is convenient for me. Honestly, every experience here has been positive!
The owner and her daughter are very polite, and they even have stamp cards that can be redeemed for free services.
I went in today after a jog so my face was a little grimy, but I cleaned up and got a full face threading which came out great! My only complaint would be that I wasn’t given any witch hazel after, something that every other threader provides after their service. I have sensitive, acne prone skin, so the witch hazel really calms my face after I get it threaded. I didn’t want to have to ask for it when it’s something that should be automatically offered!
Overall though, a great job threading. Perfectly groomed, trimmed, and detailed :)

I will never again come to this place to get my eyebrow threading… The woman who did my eyebrows (older Indian decent looking woman) was the person who was threading my eyebrows they came out very uneven, it hurt a lot! (I’ve had my eyebrows threaded before and I never experienced this much discomfort) and she didn’t even want to correct them until I told her twice! Her daughter (a very very skinny Indian looking girl) was telling her in their language what I’m assuming would be how she needs to correct my eyebrows and after they were finished she only gave me a tissue to wipe my face like really some dry ass tissue isn’t gonna remove any hair at least damp it a little… & when I got home and washed my face I noticed that my left eyebrow is REALLY THIN at the end and the right eyebrow is THICK… I DO NOT RECOMMEND this shop please go somewhere else! Don’t waste your money!

I hate giving bad ratings on one experience but every time I give this place another chance they annoy me all over again. This place used to be my go to place and the lady who has been there the longest doesn’t bother me it’s always the other ones. I had a younger girl today talking the whole time while I’m holding my eye brow and it starts to be painful because shes not paying attention and she’s going over raw skin. She hands me the mirror and of course I have little hairs all over the place and I ask her to clean it up and she’s says oh well I didn’t because you’re skin looks irritated. I wonder why? I had to go home and pluck, which is what I should’ve done in the first place. I wanted to ask her for some aloe Vera but She goes back to sit down,
And starts talking again and ignores me. She only turned because the other lady kept pointing at me. I don’t mind that you can’t communicate well in English but being rude has no excuse. The 2 stars is because when that other lady who seems to always be there is okay and is a little more gentle.

Maya threading has always been my go to for a thread. Between this one and the other one in Whittier that’s next to the Ralph’s and McDonalds. I came to this one needing a thread and being in the area. Walked in and it was one lady and she was on the phone. My sister went before me and she continued talking on the phone while doing her eyebrows. She finished up then it was my turn, I sat down in the chair and she was still on the phone! She started my eyebrows and because she was on the phone she was poking me forcefully which I had to translate as holding my brow for her. She got off the phone midway through, and continued on my eyebrows. But even after she got off the phone I felt like she was rushing through my eyebrow job. It showed after and I had to ask her to fix her mistakes. Overall she obviously wanted to get back to her phone call, and her rushing through showed in the end. Let’s just say I’ll be visiting the other maya from now on.
