DONTSHOPHERE! I bought a good amount of furniture at one time(a leather sectional, coffee table, dining room table and chairs.). I was offered the furniture protection which was additional $ 250.00. The sales lady assured me it would cover any damage to the furniture. I continued to ask questions(what if this or that) about it and after assurance again we bought the additional protection. One year later, the leather is peeling in two different areas. I have two large noticeable spots in my couch. I called up to see what can be done and they said nothing. I called up the store to complain and basically was told«oh well». I would not recommend this store at all!!! if I can post pictures I would.

Terrible workmanship, we made the mistake of buying bedroom and living room furniture together. We made a terrible mistake, now a year later were buying all new furniture again. Don’t shop there!!!

JUST left the store and felt the need to write this review as soon as possible… As soon as we walked in the lady said hello with her fake little smile, we said hello back. We walked around the corner, she walked around the corner. We walked around to look at the couches, she walked around to look at us. I’m pretty sure she thought we were planning on grabbing a couch and running out! Sheeesh lady, give your possibly potential customers a little room to freely shop without making them feel so uncomfortable. My mom, sister, and I were looking to buy, there are plenty of furniture stores down Whittier Blvd. As a business, you need us, we don’t need you.

Watch your accounts people! This place has an accounting problem. Apparently my very elderly grandparents«overpaid» $ 190 a month for an entire year. #truth #michaelssuperstorewhittier

Decent selection of furniture. Stopped in with my friend because she just bought a house and helping her get her stuff. This place finances anybody which I guess is good because it helps you re establish your credit and gives people a second chance. They have appliances and computers as well– Customer service was very helpful as well.

Be aware before venturing this store! After buying a couch that started going bad in just a couple of days I was able to have them take the couch back with a loss of $ 200 dollars on my end. That’s not the problem I had. After they refund me the money I spend on the couch, minus the $ 200 they kept, and I thought the issue was final, I receive a notice from my credit monitoring service that I subscribe, that I was owing them late payment of the amount they refund to me. The scary part is that I paid for the couch on my credit card, that means that there was no reason for my credit to be involved in this transaction, even more because I NEVER provided my social security number or open a line of credit with them. It took me several tries to solve the issue that they put me in and they were very hands off on the problem they created. I had to call the creditors, submit paperwork and all to prove that this transaction was an error or Michaels Super Store. BEAWARE!!! They not only sell you inferior, but nice looking furniture, but they can potentially put you in a bad situation because of the way they conduce business. I’ll strongly suggest anybody looking for furniture to run away from this store.

My brother has bad credit and they approved with a good down payment. He got some really nice furniture; sofa and loveseat, dinning room table and T.V. stand. They delivered to Fullerton. The sales people were very nice and helpful. I’m thinking of getting some furniture myself and I will definitely come here first.

Be careful when shopping at this store, I purchased a bedroom furniture set for my daughter on 10÷26÷12 which totaled $ 1370.18. The«manager» swiped my credit card and indicated it was declined; I gave him a 2nd card which went right through. I later found out that the both charges were submitted, which means I was charged $ 2740.36. But wait, it gets better… one of my credit cards was later used in Brooklyn, NY for a total of $ 500, the only thing stopping them was my bank which shut down my card due to the unusual activity. I spoke to «Vicente» who proceeded to argue that my bank was at fault for the entire problem, talk about unprofessional and no sense of customer service. I will never shop here again.
