I love the haircuts these guys give but the owner of the shop is a jerk. Not worth Your time. While you sit for hours these guys are on their phones texting people and stop doing the haircuts to chat with each other. They stop to watch tv and flip through channels. I will spend my money at a place where customers are treated with respect for their time. I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this way.

They do a well done work. They are detailed to the clients request. I will highly recommend this place for any man that is looking for great quality work. They get quite busy for being a Sunday, but take their time on each client. My husband is happy with their work. He got beard cleaned and hair cut and looks well done.

Ok, granted I’ve never been to a barbershop before, but I seriously doubt that a more professional shop wouldn’t take 2 hours of wait time to get to my son on the list. We saw a dozen guys come and get their cuts while we sat waiting-​which seemed to be all their homey’s. All they did was take almost an hour on each customer, and talk!

MJS is a very professional facility, I’ve been coming here for a while now. It isn’t easy to find a barbershop where you feel welcomed & comfortable, always. The barber shop is usually nicely cooled with good things to watch on their TVs. All the barbers for the most part are talented guys. Philly is my barber, he has been my barber for years now. He has never disappointed me, the guy gets down! I highly recommend this barber shop to everyone.

Was my first trip to a barber shop since moving to the area from DTN LA. These guys are nothing short of stellar. Can’t beat the prices and they even got my son to settle down and get his first hair cut. These guys are professionals, you will not regret it. I have found my new barber shop and it only took one try! They is certainly an inviting atmosphere and good people to get your haircut by.

These guys waste too much time talking instead of cutting. One guy spent 20 minutes on his phone while he had a customer sitting in the chair. Very unprofessional barbers. I waited for a whole hour and not 1 barber finished the cutting their customer because they were too busy running their mouth when they should’ve been cutting hair. Needless to say I left.

Never shall i go here ever again, i just got the worst haircut. My line up is messed up, he left shaving gel around my line up, couldn’t keep a conversation, and on top of that he sliced both sides of my neck up and i had to put alcohol on it my self. I have to say if this is the best shop in whittier i am pretty let down, i might have to hit a different city.

MJS Barbershop is the best place around to get a great haircut. Every barber can cut hair really well so it doesn’t matter who you get you know you’ll be walking out happy with a great cut. MJS is really good environment and everyone is extremely friendly. If you want to go into a nice looking, clean and comfortable barbershop than look no further then MJS because it doesn’t get any better then them!

They are good at their job which is cutting hair, but not so good at managing their time. I think they talk too much amongst themselves. They don’t show any consideration for their clients time. Waited almost two hours, then had to wait another 30 – 45 min for my son to actually be done. Very frustrating. Maybe that’s how barber shops are, but I don’t like it.

I did like this place good vibe, cool people until one day I came in to get my hair fixed because my brother messed up on the cut and cut my upper head to short. While they were helping me out with the fade I got some pretty nasty clipper burns on the back of my head and the Barber didn’t mentioned anything and still charged me full price.

Best barbershop in town. Have the best barbers in my opinion. The barbershop is very nice and clean and also have multiple big screen TV’s to watch while your waiting. They also just recently started accepting appointments on Fridays and Saturdays which is a plus!

Amazing Barber shop!!! All Barbers there are very professional and very good at what they do! Javier has been cutting my hair for about a year and i can honestly say he is an amazing barber with incredible skill. Come check these guys out you will not be let down!

Nice Clean Affordable Shop With Very Talented Barbers, i personally get My Haircuts From Steve, hes even Open the shop late to give me a haircut after hours after i had to work late great group of guys with a good Thing if your looking for a new barber this is your spot!

This is my second time here at MJS Barbershop. The shop is super clean and very welcoming. They all greeted me and offered some water. I got in and out in a timely matter. Both times I had a cut with Marco and I was extremely happy with the cut. This will definitely be my new spot!
