NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! Cheap ingredients, rubber tortillas, Just cuz you’ve been in the neighborhood for ages(under old name) and youre open late and every Raider Latino comes in you’re food is as good and authentic as Taco Bell. Brainwashed locals keep coming everyone else wanting good mexi food run elsewhere(maybe even Taco Hell instead !) it’s so bad that I have to go to McDonald’s to wash off the taste! How’s the food? It’s mas o mierda! Mas on the mierda side.!!

Mr. Giant? More like Giant Disappointment! I had been once before and thought it wasn’t my favorite, but today forever cemented the idea into my head that I never really need to go there anymore. After perusing the menu, I asked about what else came in a burrito besides the choice of meat, and received a snippy, «what a stupid question» kind of answer from the boy at the cash register, who looked and acted like he’d rather be anywhere by good old Mr. Giant.(For all who were wondering what comes on the burritos, the answer I received was«beans.») I ordered the veggie burrito, expecting fajitas and some sour cream or guacamole or something, and I got a huge burrito filled with 90% rice and the rest was diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce. BARF! I then went up to the boy up front, remember my oh so wonderful friend from before? I apologized for misunderstanding that there were no veggies in the veggie burrito and politely asked if he could exchange it for a chicken burrito, or put chicken in my original burrito and I would just pay the difference. The veggie burrito was $ 5.45 and the chicken burrito was $ 6.25. So I payed the 85 cent difference and sat down to wait for my new burrito. He then rushes over and holds out his hand and says, «That’ll actually be $ 2.25, so you still owe me like two bucks.» Oh, cool, okay. I guess that whole paying the difference thing didn’t make sense to one of us. I guess I’ll just pay for a whole new burrito. So I gave him the two dollars and expected a new, warm, delicious CHICKEN burrito. A few minutes later he brought my old burrito, now soggy and cold, with a handful of chicken in it and half the container of sour cream inside. So I’m pretty sure they opened the burrito, threw in a handful of chicken bits, globbed in sour cream to fill space, and charged me an extra $ 2.25 for it. Needless to say, if I’m looking for a burrito in the future, or decent customer service, I don’t believe I’ll be going to Mr. Giant.

I’m doing a review for my husband, when he came home from work and was upset about his lunch experience I knew I had to do a review… See lunch is very important to my husband he has lunch at 10:00am and with 30 mins there is no time to spare! For the first time He played it smart and called In his order 15mins ahead he works about 5 mins from the restaurant so once he got there he went in to pay the girl took his payment and walked away, no words exchanged(RUDE) then he waited for a while thinking she would come back with his food. 10 mins pass. (keep track that’s now 30mins) 0 mins left to eat and get back to work! finally he was able to get someone’s attention and asked about is food! To his surprise the food was sitting on the counter!!! Now why would the girl walk away without checking for the order?! I would have requested my food to be remade but he had to go! Remember it doesn’t matter if you can make bomb mexican food or how fast you can prepare it, what matters is if the customer can experience it and with good customer service it goes along way! 2 stars because the food is good but service is not so good. Thanks for taking the time to read my review

Food is questionable at times, maybe a 2.5 stars for that… but this 1 star is for the wait time. I waited 43 minutes for a quesadilla tonight! It was busy, but it seemed as though most people had food already. As I waited watching I noticed a sign that said something about being patient because they make food fresh to order. So I gave them a chance, while i watched a family of 8 wait for their food for about 10 minutes, then finish their meal and leave. Once I noticed people getting their orders, who placed orders after me I asked how much longer. The guy went to grill, looked at the tickets and told me 6 more minutes. It seemed as if they were making all the orders that had burritos and tacos first, no matter when order was placed. Then they started making the orders that had quesadillas.

I was so disappointed for $ 8.15 I got a very small bag of chips(which were stale) which I had to ask for which I thought were complimentary and I got a small wimpy burrito that didn’t fill me up I’m so sorry I betrayed borregos tacos I highly discourage anyone from going to Mr Giant and continuing this Ludacris price gouging and mediocre thing they call flavor

Pictures look better than it tastes. Props to the menu photographer. Place has gone down hill! Every bite of my Mr Giant burrito was fat, No lie. Taco Bells right across the street. Be wise.

It was alright. Came here on a sunday night a few weeks ago. Ordered a carne asada sope — it was a tad bit too much of the shell. Pretty thick. Not enough meat. Al pastor taco — average sized taco. Pretty tasty. Has good flavor. and a carne asada taco — meat was okay. A little dry. Total was $ 6 and some change. They have a salsa bar. Which needs to be cleaned up more than what they currently do because there’s crap everywhere. AND I witnessed an employee sweep the dirty gross floors and then use the same broom to clean the chairs. O. O don’t wear white pants. most likely will never come back

The food is good if they ever get your order right. I’m really upset. I phoned ahead my order. When I got there it was ready. They handed me a bunch of bags. I went home and a burrito was missing. Called them back. Went back to get my burrito. Not even an apology. Nothing just handed me the burrito like I was an inconvenience. I was nice about it, maybe I was to nice, but I understand when restaurants are busy it’s hard. Terrible customer service. Not the first time this has happened. Will be not be ordering from here anymore. It’s too bad there food is good. They got the wrong burrito. TRAINYOURSTAFF!

Good Mexican food, good prices. My order was not as I ordered it the last couple times but they took it back and fixed it no problem. The salsas are great and fresh. However, today I ordered green chilaquiles with no eggs and rice substituted for beans. But I got chilaquiles on top of rice, but with mole salsa. I went back and told them about the mistake, they took my plate back without a problem, but this time, my plate only had the green chilaquiles, no rice. Hence the 4 starts.

I’ve been here years ago but it was under a different name — Los Sanchez but it’ now called Mr. Giant. It seems the previous owner’s kids took over the business, renamed it and changed things up a bit and now the food tastes better. I give this place 3 ½. My order was customized which they were glad to do. I ordered the chiliquiles with barbacoa beef, scrambled eggs, and rice. Variety of salsa to choose from but I may not have got pics of all. Chilaquiles are corn tortilla chips covered with a tasty red chile sauce served with(2) over easy eggs topped off with cheese. Usually with Mexican cotija cheese and beans. I asked for melted cheddar and monterey jack cheese and rice instead. This place doesn’t get good Unilocal ratings but I was pleased with my choice. I’ll be back.

Mr. Giant(formerly known as Los Sanchez) is a great place when you’re in the mood for quick Mexican food. Today we came in at noon for lunch. It can get busy at this time midweek, but the wait is worth it. To satisfy my daughters grumbling tummy she ordered the popular«Mr Giant Burrito»($ 7.19) stuffed with chicken and topped with melted cheese. To my surprise, she finished it off completely. My wife ordered a big bowl of cocido soup($ 7.35) loaded with chunks of beef, potatoes and vegetables, served with rice and warm tortillas. I’ve had this soup many times, it’s absolutely delicious! I ordered«The Works Quesadilla»($ 8.05), filled with carne asada and cheese. But first, I had to have their prepared to perfection delicious large shrimp cocktail($ 9.45). Also ordered a side of fresh guacamole($ 4.75) to dip the warm tortilla chips. Mild to hot sauce, sliced radishes, carrots and lime are offered at the condiment bar. Every neighborhood has one or two favorite fast food Mexican restaurants that has been around a long time. We have always left satisfied and happy. Glad it’s close to home! Happy Father’s Day to all you Dad’s!

Sighs. I wanted to love this place so badly. It is so close to my house but its the inconsistency that gives it such a low rating. It’s either really good, or horrible. About 2 years ago the food was always good so I am not sure what happened. I use to love the nachos, but then they started drenching them in this flavorless sauce that would immediately turn the chips to mush. I literally live 1 minute away driving, and by the time I got home the nachos were not edible. I know this is what happens to nachos when they sit too long in sauce, but I have never in my life seen every singe chip turn to mush. And now to the beloved Mr. Giant burrito. As I said above, it’s either really good or really bad. I am not sure what they did to the sauce that they more over it but it tastes different now, kinda like plastic with salt. It doesn’t have any distinct flavor really. What drove the rating so low for me was the meat. A few chew pieces can be tolerated, but recently it has been too many. Sometimes the meat doesn’t taste flavored at all. The last tome I ordered the barbacoa it has too many fat chunks in it. The quesadillas never disappoint, so that has become my safe item. The salsa and chile bar is AMAZING! I would go just for that! The guac is good. I haven’t tried anything other than what was mentions so maybe the other food is good. The service is always good. Food always comes out in a reasonable time. I suggest going during the day to get better quality of food.
