Came here after I seen all the great reviews from other Unilocalers, so I decided to try it out. Place looks clean and the service is nice and helpful. Tacos are made in front of you Yum! Okay so tried the food and after so many good reviews I’m very disappointed. I got chile Reno plate, al pastor tacos, enchiladas dinner plate and shredded beef tacos. Chile Reno was watered down and I mean watered down with there unflavored juice. The cheese was not melted like it should be. Al pastor tacos should not be called that because there not.(So so not) :( The enchiladas were burnt on one side and dry.(Cheese) The kids the wife and my mom all didn’t like what they got or each other’s food. The chile was good though. People here were very nice but I have to be honest with my rate.

Please save your self some time and avoid coming here. The reason I came in was because of the Unilocal reviews and I was actually excited to have some good food. First of all, the service was horrible. The guy taking my order was face timing when I was ordering. He was so moody and rude. Second of all, the food was super dry. Had some lengua tacos which were the worse I’ve ever had. My sister had a torta which tasted like they’ve had the bread sitting there for days. The only decent food they had were the Birria tacos. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone! If you guys want good tacos do yourselves a favor and go to Borregos tacos which is about 10 minutes further down but definitely worth the drive!

My friend recommended Navarros to me and now I go on a weekly basis. The food is unreal. The Tacos de Birria are so savory and the flavors are so different to a regular taco. I highly recommend the tacos al pastor and if your feeling hungry… go with the chicken burrito(simple order, but you won’t regret it).

Best birria on the block. Tortillas are handmade and delicious. Get the combo that comes with the consome on the side. Great for breakfast too.

This place is AMAZING! Has become our new favorite spot for authentic Mexican food. The Tortas are to die for! This is a family owned business and you can quickly tell they spend the time to cook the food as authentic as possible. Don’t forget to try the crunchy tacos!

Well I don’t have much to say. The beans were good, the tacos were ok. I wouldn’t come back. And the leather seats are terrible.

Delicious is what I would tell anyone about these tacos! Came for my nephews bday party and they catered the event! The 1st thing I noticed was the steamer tray he used for the tortillas and meat, most taco guys cook the tortillas on the flat top but it makes the tortilla hard. This is the way to go, the I tried the cabeza tacos(beef head) for u non Latin folks. It was the most tender flavorful meat I’ve had in a long time. It was just beefy goodness and the onion and cilantro with the right amount of green salsa was all it needed… The chicken, al pastor, carne Asada, chorizo… Everyone was raving about how soft the tacos were and very fresh tasting. this place knows the art of «The Street taco» next time your in the area or your lucky enough to attend an event that they cater give the Cabeza tacos a try… and don’t forget to review them

Asada fries… tortas…and burritos so far have been amazing. They have three salsas hot hotter and you should use the third sparingly if you’re not mexican lol! All them have great flavor though. The fries are by far my favorite. They’re like wedges and the guacamole is always so fresh. I always get the burritos all meat with cheese and salsa and it’s always done right. You know how many places I’ve gone to will get my special order wrong every time? Please don’t change a thing… just the beer thing ahahahaha! I would like to enjoy a cold beer with my meal every once in a while.

I’ve got to say I usually drive all the way to east Los for some good tacos but after giving this place a chance I was definitely not disappointed! Not many spots have good tacos de tripas but this place nails it… I’ve also tried their tacos de chorizo and lengua and were very tasty not to mention their salsas and cebollas are just the cherry on top!

I’m in Norwalk for training and I was in the mood for Taqueria food. I Unilocaled this place and saw it had four stars so why not try it. Four other guys from class joined us. Mind you this place was in a lower class are but that’s where you find the best food right? The waitress recommended the cubano sandwich. Wow I was impressed. I really liked the sandwich. They also have a salsa bar with like, roasted chilis and radishes. True taqueria style. The other guys really liked there food. I would definitely come back if I am ever in the area. I got a sandwich and soda for less that 8 bucks. Not bad for lunch. One thing that was weird was there was a leak in the roof. This leaked into the bathroom and water was leaking from the light socket. Can you say dangerous? Haha

I did like this place. It is a good place for lunch. Food: I ordered the Birria Tacos. I ordered two. It did come with Birria stew but it was just the broth. I was expecting some meat in it, however the taste was good. The tacos were fairly large so the two was enough. The meat was good and had plenty of flavor. I also ordered the Melon Aqua. That was awesome! Their drinks are excellent! Cleanliness: Place was fairly clean, however I have a pet-peeve when it comes to tables. If a table is sticky then to me the place is not that clean. This table I was sitting at was pretty sticky. It was the first thing I felt when I sat down. I know it is hard to keep the tables constantly clean during lunch but still, I expect the table to not be sticky. Price: I paid $ 24 for a party of 4 for lunch so all in all price is not too bad.

Love this place. Tacos are a good size and at $ 1.10−2.20(birria) you can’t go wrong. Salsa bar is well stocked with a variety of toppings. Here the tortillas are steamed. Birria was my preferred meat out of the three. Chicken wasn’t as seasoned but the meat was moist and good. The red Salsa was very good as was the green salsa. Carne Asada — 5⁄5 Birria(stewed beef) –5/5* Chicken — 4⁄5 Red Salsa — 4⁄5 Green Salsa — 4⁄5 Habanero Salsa — 3⁄5 House Sauce — 3⁄5 TIP: When you order the birria tacos make sure to add lemon and salsa into the consome. Use this as a flavor shot. Sip and bite, The best. Highly Recommended. –T.P.V

This place is great. Try the tortas you will not be disappointed. I was extremely happy with my torta and i do not normally like tortas from restaurants. The smoothies are soo good. I showed up when the tacos were 99 cents no one else does that anymore. I was looking for a good place to eat for lunch and this place did not disappoint. The customer service was fantastic. I cannot wait to try some other delicious things there are so many choices to choose from.

I’m obsessed with this place and will eat here multiple times a week if you let me. Just straight up delicious tacos. Amazing asada, perfect pastor, and the chicken is pretty good, too! The meats are all seasoned just right. The asada is probably my fave, has so much flavor that is only enhanced by the cilantro, onions, salsa and some more fresh lime juice. The tortillas are little and get warmed up on the grill where the meat is cooked for a touch of extra flavor… two tortillas per taco, a generous amount of meat, con todo — I can usually take down about four, but i’m kind of a light weight. The salsa they put on the tacos is pretty spicy which I love, but if you can’t handle the heat, you can order without. You put your order in at the register, pay and wait for your tacos to be made right in front of you in the dining area. The meats are all stacked on the griddle and assembled to order. All the other foods are cooked in the back kitchen and brought out to you. The pozole here is just like homemade and packed with shredded pork and hominy, served with fresh veggies on the side, and tostadas. I’ve only had the rojo version because they NEVER have the green one, but it’s still incredible. The color is red hot with flavor to match. Dress it up with shredded cabbage, onion, cilantro and some lime for thee best meal on a cold night. I still need to try their green pozole, tripas tacos + a few others, but for solid tacos, this is the spot if you’re in the Los Nietos/Whittier/SFS area. They take debit and credit, but bring some cash to leave in the tip jar.

Last night was my first time eating their food and I’m glad I finally checked this place out. They have very tasty Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos. The Sopes, Dorados tacos and Quesadillas were all amazing with a great flavor and generous amounts of meat. The restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming. The staff were all very accommodating and helped answer all my questions. The parking on the side is convenient with about 6 spots. I wouldn’t suggest parking on the street because it’s really busy in the day. Overall I give them a generous 5 stars because I enjoyed the good, staff and overall experience at this not so noticeable place off the beaten path of the busier foody area of Washington blvd. I believe it’s $ 1 tacos Monday thru Thursday! I’ll be back!

After the Ducks game tonight, we headed over for some tacos. I was hopeful because a friend recommended the place but I never bank on recommendations so I just didn’t know… well, it was a great decision. The tacos are super yum! The meat is seasoned well and cooked just right. I had asada, tripa and lengua and all were delish. I was disappointed they were out of chorizo, I’ll have to try that next time. The staff is friendly and the place is clean, it’s a must try if you love tacos.
