Been coming here for 30+ years and still find it to be my go-to place. usually dine here for some quick simple Mexican food — nothing too authentic. Service has not always been the greatest but decent overall(usually high school kids work here) and the bathrooms need some work. Food is really good and the ice cream sundaes and shakes are the best!

I like eating here… food is usually very good… It’s a great local place to eat but today I was sad… Disappointed with my good because I ordered a patty melt and all I got was a cheese burger on rye… No grilled onion and No pickles… It was a flat plain cheese burger. I do have to say that I do luv their fries :-)

I’ve been trying one or two things at a time, and I must say… zucchini, Chicken club, beef & potato burrito, BBQ chicken salad, are Good. When it comes to Hot dog, enchilada, chile relleno, wet burrito it’s a mess. The hot dog is very small, like home made. The enchilada had lots of chicken but the chicken had no taste. Just white shredded meat, no sauce, no onions, nothing inside. Just on the outside. The Chile, had no meat. & The wet burrito, same sauce as all others.

Food is pretty good but the owner or manager(i believe his name is Dan, older male, big black spongebob looking glasses with a mechanic button up shirt.) He is rude and very sarcastic. He shouldn’t be working at a restaurant where he has to socialize with people. He is anything but a people person.

If there is one issue that needs to be addressed is time to pick up phone orders. I would prefer that they say we take phone orders until 9p instead of asking«are you going to make it before 9:30 because that I s the time we close». Practice, Practice, Practice. An apology in regards to phone orders would be better

Everything on the menu is good. The pastrami special quesadilla is one of my favorites. The guacamole strips are awesome too. The booths are not fat friendly but they have a row of tables with chairs that are fat friendly.

$ 20 bucks for two awesome tasting burritos Lg. Shake + Lg. Drink!!! My son and I ordered a shredded beef and shredded chicken burritos both have meat beans, cheese, and salsa of your choice … Thumbs up. 5 stars deserved for food alone the only problem was tables needed to be clean on my visit every other table had soda stains or napkins somebody came out eventually and cleaned them.

I absolutely love the food here. The green chili sauce is sooo delicious. The Carne Asada fries are the best. they use Monterey Jack Cheese, not American or Cheddar like other places. They also have a little salsa bar so you can take whatever salsa you want to your table or home with your food. The Chicken Quesadilla has a good amount of chicken and cheese and they are not skimpy on the Sour Cream and Guacamole either.

When working with the hubby this is one of our favorite places to lunch. Its right around the corner from the shop and its always good. The best thing I’ve gotten there is the Chicken Club Quesadilla. I can never eat the whole thing its that filling. I also enjoy their shakes from time to time my fave is the peanut butter banana but the banana nut shake comes in close second. The staff is always a pleasure. Also, if you like hot sauce like HOT and SPICY get the green salsa/sauce it will burn going all the way down!

I bought a chicken club sandwiched here, the chicken was so disgusting and chewy that even my dogs had a hard time biting into it. I won’t be going back.

The chicken nachos were bland, beans appeared to be re fried TWICE and very dry, no flavor at all! The place was disgustingly dirty, sticky floors & tables throughout. I saw the cook make the taquitos and then place them on a white dirty towel next to the fryer before serving them to a guest. They are known for great desert so IF i ever come back that is all I will get. The women bathroom smelled and there was urine on the floors. Ill never wear my shoes in my home again, this after realizing what I could be tracking in after leaving this place!

Was driving by and decided to stop and get something to eat. They have the BEST chicken club quesadilla! The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious! The young lady at the counter was so polite, friendly and efficient. Great little diner!

Ive heard a lot of hype from this place about the food. Came today to try it out for lunch. I had the pastrami burger, with fries: Overall ok. It was lacking some kind of flavor. The burger felt dry like it needed sauce. The fries were good. Mom had the shredded beef hard tacos. She said they were ok, but would of wished they would of made the shells when she ordered them so they would be hot, and not cold. Otherwise ok. My dad ordered a shredded beef burrito. He liked it. Now the majority of the signs in there stated, «home of the quesadilla», and my coworker stated that there loco quesadilla is really good. So maybe that’s what I should of had. Anyways, for burgers, ill stick to Douglas on the next block. For Mexican, cant beat Juan Great Fiesta two blocks down.

I ordered a burrito with beans, lettuce, tomato and avocado slices. Ashley, who took my order– and I had to repeat myself multiple times, somehow still failed to communicate my order correctly, because my burrito came with shredded beef. Additionally, she asked me several times if if was for here or to go and she really just wasn’t paying attention. I don’t know if she was just having a bad night, but as a long time vegetarian, this was really upsetting. Not to mention how ill it has made me. I called and spoke with Oscar, who was very nice– and I was advised to follow up with the owner on Sunday. It does seem pretty basic though– not putting meat on a burrito when someone has repeatedly stated no meat, vegetarian, please make sure there’s no meat, doesn’t it?

The food is bland. The service is horrible. After waiting 20 min for my food and the cashier called numbers after mine i finally asked what was going on with my food. A rude hispanic man tells me i need to wait 5 more minutes. I asked for my money back and he said i just have to wait because they do not give refunds. He had the nerve to have an attitude after i was the one waiting for 20 min. The cashier was no better. Rude the ever customer that came in. I for sure will not be going back and by the taste of the food i will not be missing anything.

First impression from the outside is that this place would be really small and something I would normally just drive by. However, this place brings so many memories to my husband because when he was little his mom used to bring him here all the time with his brothers and sisters and sit at the same table and order the same thing. We decided to come here when we were looking for something new to try and he wanted to see if everything was still the same. It looks like it is newly remodeled inside because everything looks new. They have two rooms for seating both that have TV’s in them as well. The seats and walls are all red and they have really good lighting. My hubby told me one of the rooms used to be an arcade but that is no longer there. He decided to try something new and got the ultimate quesadilla which he really liked a lot but he is a meat eater and loves his burgers. So we plan to go back to get a burger. I got the wet chicken burrito which was really good. It could have used some sour cream but I still enjoyed it. It was a big burrito I was only able to eat half. My daughter got two asada tacos which she ate all of so it must have been good. For dessert we had to get a Banana split. I love me some banana splits, I can’t remember when the last time I had one was. It was really good and had lots of ice cream with strawberries, pineapple and cherry. Can’t wait to come back.
