El Pollo Loco

I absolutely love their chicken but this particular location has messed up my order the past 3 times. I always come home with items missing from my order. If it wasn’t raining so bad I would go back and complain that my sides are missing from my meal. Make sure to check your order when going here. The drive thru ppl always seem like they’re in a rush but don’t pay attention because they ask you multiple times what you want to order and still screw up.

I actually enjoy eating at el pollo loco. But this location is the worst experience a customer could ever receive! The FIRST TIME (sadly there’s more than one bad experience) I went to this location at are 10:20 EXACTLY. And went through the drive thru and the lights In the lobby and kitchen were on and the drive thru sign was on. As well as I saw people walking around in there. So I went into the drive thru and no body answered the intercom. So I left, pulled over and checked on Unilocal to see what time they closed. It said 11pm. So I called and the first 2 calls, NO ONE ANSWERED. I waited 10 minutes to call again, some girl answered. I asked if they were open and she said no. remind you, this was now 10:35. So I went home. I called the next morning and asked to speak to a manager, I asked him what time they closed the night before. The manager said 11pm. So of course I flipped and told him what poor customer service I received the night before. He apologized and said he would speak to the workers that were working that night. But he didn’t sound like a professional manager and as if he didn’t care that his workers are sitting on there ass for 45 minutes, working for free.
THE SECOND TIME, they had my order wrong completely. Their Mac n cheese tasted watering and hard. Their chicken was burned. The black beans seriously looked like jello and pudding. It was disgusting. And to top it off, my corn tortillas were harder than the forks.
Bad food quality and customer service overall! DO NOT GO THERE FOR DINNER. Not surprised if someone gets sick.

First and last time here. Quality of the food is terrible. Should of read the Unilocal first. So disappointed in my meal. Had a chicken bowl that maybe had 1 tablespoon of chopped dry chicken.
So gross.

Been coming here for a while. Not picky. A place where kids get there first job. Food is good, breasts are dry at times

Just came in for the first time and had pleasant service provided by Carelia who took my order and was super nice.
Ordered a spicy chipotle and a ranchero burrito which were both really great.
The inside is really nice if you dine inside.

The service here is horrible. Not organized and takes forever. Just sat in drive thru for 20 min of my half hour lunch with only 3 cars ahead of me. Then I find a feather on my chicken.

Food is OK, normal flavor. But please clean this place. We were the only my ones, the tables dirty, counter dirty, salsa bar filthy. It was nasty touching the big spoon for the salsa. Took about 15 min to get our two piece plate, been the one my ones. Don’t recommend this place. The drink fountain super dirty.

Slowest service ever.
Whether you order inside or drive through, the service at THIS EPL is horrible. Don’t you dare come during lunch or dinner.
This place is walking distance from my job and it never crosses my mind to go to this EPL during my lunch, why? It will take up my whole lunch and then some

Worst el polo loco I have ever seen .I won’t go and don’t go. Incorrect order after drive home, over cooked food

Omg I just received the saddest chicken combo plate ever! breast and wing… It looked like they have been under the light for hours… I wasn’t too sure if it was a breast or a wing… breast piece was 3 fingers wide and dry as heck, wing piece was indescribable. I didnt even try to eat it.

Customer service is average. Could be better.
The foods fresh and warm! Love the family meals so that my family of four can eat as much chicken we want! I tend to love their side dishes such as corn, fries, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and all there salsas are delicious!
Most likely coming back in a few weeks from now.
Hopefully we can get decent prices and coupons mailed to home.

It’s 745 on 10.07.2015 and they are out of chicken.
How do you make people wait 15.20 min for chicken. Sombody messed up tonight.
The lobby is a mess with trash all over the floor.
And that was not bad enough the cashier carelia was snooty to everyone like it was our fault they messed up.
I will drive to the next one for now on. I will never come back here again.

SLOW SLOW SLOW service. The servers are kinda out of it and just stare at you when you ask a question or walk away with a blank look on their face. I’m not sure what their deal is, but their service sucks! Food is tasty, IF they get your order right. And don’t bother telling them you’re allergic to something because they’ll give it to you anyway and you’ll end up in the hospital because they just pick it out and lie that it’s a new dish. From start to finish I was in the drive through for 31 minutes. So much for «fast food».

Went and got a chicken and shrimp bowl. And it was pretty good the speed it was served with was pleasing but my favorite thing their was this employees butt and just like sr mix alot I liked it and can’t lie.

This is the only Pollo Loco where they end their specials offer sooner than other pollo locos. And today i ordered at the drive and boy the girl taking orders was rude she barely wanted to take my order, and when i got to the window i paid and hand me by food like here’s your order. Can better the customer service a little bit.

I love the food… They get my order wrong from time to time and they take a little long in the drive thru… somehow Though, always I keep coming back. Currently sitting in the drive through and it’s been over 5 minutes. There goes my 30 minute lunch again lol

I hate the fact that the workers there can be upfront with their customers. I waited 25 minutes in the drive thru because they ran out of chicken after their charged me. Bad service, next time just say at the order window we currently don’t have chicken available and let me decide before taking my money. This has not been the first time.

Worse pollo loco ever! I’m not even exaggerating, I waited in the drive through line for over 45-​minutes! My son started crying and asked «are we going to spend the night here?» That’s how long they took! I was so over it, when I finally got to the window, I just kept on driving… took my money somewhere else. I wasn’t going to pay for that terrible service!

This Just in… we just found a nice piece of Avocado in a taco!!! So, to be fair, I gave you 3 stars

Ordered 3 chicken AVOCADO tacos. Received 3 chicken tacos no avocado… Charged for the avocado … This location not recommended… Not consistent not thorough actually my rating is minus 3 due to inconsistancy of service.
