The Taco Truck

Pastor is the way to go it’s amazing !!! Perfect midnight munchies spot since everything else is closed except for boring McDonalds.

Pretty good food & great prices. When we’re in the area & when we want to grub on some tacos.
We have been here 2 times & both times they were sold out of Potato Tacos… DAMN IT.

I had tacos here: chicken, tripa, and carne asada. These were mediocre at best. The tortillas were not that great of quality. The meat seemed bland. Chicken tasted weird and had an odd, rubbery texture to it. Would not recommend coming here unless you want to settle for something just to fill your stomach. Pricing is reasonable.

I’m not from the area and stopped here on a whim. Very good and authentic food. If i lived here, this would be my go-​to spot for comida.

Oh my gosh! This truck makes the best carne asada burritos and tacos. I get it with everything. Red salsa is pretty darn tasty, too. Wish they were a little more generous with the radishes though.

Everytime I come to visit Whittier from San Diego I have to stop and get some carne asada tacos here they’re so yummy

OK, my wife and i are in the hunt every Friday for the best taco truck in town, and so far this truck has the best «tripas tacos» i had in a long time. i highly recommend it if your in search a good tacos.
BTW the agua frescas are good too, specially the Pina. just like king taco.

The best Carnitas Burrito I’ve ever had. The trick is to go at night. For some reason their carnitas taste fresher and greaser which means they’re delicious. The asada is ok, and the tripas are pretty good, especially when they cook them up nice and crispy. The people that own the truck are also very nice!

My boyfriend and I have the best friends. WHY? you ask? Because they introduced us to The Taco Truck. WHAT DOES THAT MATTER? you may think? It matters because we are now in love with THE BEST TACO TRUCK EVERRR. The Carne asada tacos/​sopes, Al pastor tacos/​quesadillas, and carnitas tacos are probably the best we’ve ever tasted. And their open very late!

I already knew I loved tacos de buche, but now, having also eaten tacos de tripa from the famous Whittier taco truck, I may just have to find more excuses to travel south and camp out on the corner where it parks. Yes, I do know what parts of the animals I am eating. And yes, I still love it! Amazing. It was all delicious!
It was a perfect late-​night meal following a lovely trip to a local wine shop. I think I will be dreaming of these scrumptious treats until I get more. There should be some way to track this truck, should it ever go missing from it’s corner… GPS? Or perhaps I should find a taco truck in my neighborhood, equally as wonderful?
