Evergreen Auto Sales

Purchased a car here a few years back. Great friendly staff and car was in great shape !

I’m shopping for a late model Kia Soul and am astonished by the terrible experiences I’ve had. Here’s one:
They had two Souls at Evergreen. The first was immediately out of the running because it looked like the oil was never changed. The second was better and we were interested in purchasing it. We were distressed that they didn’t seem to do minor maintenance/​repairs/​cleaning (with the exception that they steam the engines) but tried to look past that stuff. We discussed price and, contrary to the other Unilocaler’s experience, found Ismael to be difficult to deal with. He quoted me one price when I looked at the car. We said we wanted to take the night to think about it. When I called the next day and said I wanted to take the car it suddenly had a different, higher price. He jerked me around for several minutes as I informed him that I expected the deal he offered the day before. He was rude and insulting.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!!! THEY APPARENTLY WON’T HESITATE TO RIP YOU OFF!!!

Lucky to get a star! I went to ask to sell my car and to use some of that money for a down payment for one of their cars. I get a numbers from the individual and I tell him that I would come the next day to see what another dealer would do for me. The other dealer offers me the same so I decide to go back to them because the individual was very professional and not pushy, plus they had the car that I wanted. So, I go back and another man is there, Ismael, and tells me that the other guy has no authority and does not know what he is doing. He tries to get out of the deal by giving me less for the car or putting more down. Long story short, Ismael was due to call me back and he never did! Totally unprofessional and a bunch of flip-​floppers! Should have done the deal the first day, that’s my fault. Typical used car sales tactics.

I have to bump it from a 4 star to a 5. I just purchased my second vehicle from Evergreen and I am super happy that I did. Ismael makes it so EASY for people to purchase a car. The man is friendly, non-​pushy and professional.
My husband and I have stopped by periodically since the purchase of my KIA Spectra in June of 2011. We were looking for a second car because our second car was a Chevy gas guzzling Suburban. We were unsure if we could afford it, unsure what KIND of car we wanted, didn’t really have enough for the down… etc. Ismael always took the time to walk us through his lot, discuss numbers and he always remembered us.
Fast forward to 2÷5÷13 — Our situation had changed. We saved money, my credit score had improved drastically and we were ready. Now to find the PERFECT car that was worth my hard earned money. We stopped by the lot on Tuesday evening and there she was! A shiny 2010 Nissan Versa! Low mileage (47,000), CLEAN exterior (gun metal gray), CLEAN interior (black)…CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! Ismael had us fill out the application and said he would get back to us within 24 hours. After a few phone calls for employment verification, proof of income, pulling of our credit reports (mine had improved DRAMATICALLY since the purchase of my KIA), agreement of the down payment… THE CAR WAS MINE!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS CAR! It’s smooth, it’s reliable, it’s clean, the payments are decent and it’s just PERFECT!

I will always refer people to this lot. I only refer people to business’ and places that I TRUST — This is one of them.

My father in law was helping us get a car because we just had a baby and needed a safer car. We spotted a Durango that we were interested in, the guy at the lot went to turn the car and it kept stalling, so we went to a newer sedan and it seemed great. My husband and father in-​law ended up buying it. With in the first month there was issues, the gas gauge is stuck on half way, my husband took the car back and the owner didnt want to bother with it, he just told my husband to wait and see. Then the engine light turned on so my husband took it back to him, it was a evap leak. So he fixed it then that next month the engine light was back on. Over the next year we have constantly has to take the car to the shop and constantly had to get it towed. And he only gave us one working key and this key is worn and we need to get a new one made the issue is that the key has a chip in it and we have to take it to the dealership to get a new one made and its going to cost us 140 for a new key. This car has been a living nightmare. We have put way more money into this car than it is worth. THIS CAR IS A LEMON. We dont have money to buy a new car and it seems like what little we save has to end up going back into this peice of junk.
