Salon Pin-Up

I live in Santa Clarita and my hairdresser moved on to other ventures and I needed someone to cut my hair and trim my «Bettie Bangs» which have to be perfect. I grew up in the area and I am out here quite regularly and remembered the salon on the corner. I made an appointment with Julie. I am so happy and relieved I found a salon that I can go to. And Julie will be my stylist. I’m very happy!

The first time I came here was in February 2016 and got my hair done with Crystal. She did a great job!!! I called for an appt. she’s no longer there. I made the appt. with Mirtha she dyed my hair but didn’t cut it. I give her credit for accepting she was not going to be able to cut my hair, even though she didn’t tell me. When it was time for the haircut Lenore came over and Mirtha said she was going to help with the haircut. Mirtha didn’t even attempt to cut my hair which I greatly appreciate. Lenore asked how I wanted my hair I showed her a picture and the rest is history. Lenore cut my hair and I love it!!! She did an excellent job. I will definitely go back.

This salon is great! Came in today for a vintage up do. Lenore is amazing! I came in with my hair wet :/​but she was able to dirty it up enough to get my hair to hold, and I looked great! Victory rolls were perfect for my night out with my little man. My appointment was at 12:30, it is not 11:28 and my hair is still up and holding!
If you ever need a vintage style hairdo, give her a call, she is worth every penny!

Yaaaas! Yaaaas! Yaaaas! You need to come here and get your hair done. It was the most wonderful and best experience I’ve ever had in quite some time!!! I called early in the morning as a last minute alternative to my usual salon, and they welcomed me and accommodated a time for me to come in the same day. I had Danielle do my my hair and she was amazing. She did exactly what I wanted and more!!! I showed her a simple picture and she transformed me into a masterpiece!!! She was so patient and so welcoming, I have found a stylist I will be returning to for years to come!!! Everyone else was so happy and warm, and the environment is so cozy and edgy at the same time. In love with Salon Pin Up!!! Go check it out and get beautified with Danielle! You won’t regret it!

I finally found a salon to call home. All the ladies are very cool. Great atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful job with hair and makeup. We recently attended a 1940s style event so victory rolls were in order. $ 75 for the styling and $ 55 for makeup. Thank goodness I had a 20% coupon to help me out some :) Everyone loved it, my husband was very impressed. Thank you Crystal & Danielle for doing what I could never have achieved on my own. $ 45 for hair cut, wash and style ! It’s not a bad price !
I have a long hair and I wanted medium hair, i told her that I don’t want to cut too short ! She didn’t ask much about how I want, layer or not. I was little freaking out while she cutting my hair .
Well … I don’t like the haircut, uneven, seem like my left side is longer than my right side, little shorter than I expected !
I wouldn’t come back at all for 2 reasons: 1. girls are nice but attitudes suck ! 2. Walk out the door without satisfied feeling … Don’t think I will go back. That’s it !

I hate getting my hair cut. Just so we’re clear, I think this hair cut count to a dozen. That might even be me exaggerating. I do not get my hair cut often.
That being said, what a nice experience I had at this salon! The ladies are friendly and the salon was clean. I got my hair cut by Cindy, who was very kind and listened to my fussiness with patience and obedience all while ensuring I got a nice shape to my growing bob. They even did a deep conditioning treatment on my hair while I waited for Cindy. Even a week later my hair is still soft!
Ladies with bangs like myself: I usually cut my own bangs, I don’t trust anyone else. Trust Cindy, she knows how to cut bangs!

Took my daughter her for her first hair cut ever! Mind you she is 7 years old. I saw all the great reviews and I decided to try them out. Crystal made my daughter feel comfortable, and to top it off my daughter was happy with the hair cut! I can’t wait till it’s my turn for my hair cut and color!

This salon has a loyal group of customers for a reason. The customer service and prices are great. I have been going to Julie for years! She did my hair for every dance in high school and I continue to go to her to this day. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I can always get an appointment within a few days… Sometimes even same day! What I really like about Julie is that instead of pushing me to do more expensive things, like coloring my hair, she really cares about me and wants me to keep my hair healthy. All of the stylists really care about their clients on a personal level and you can’t beat that. :)

This place seemed like it would be awesome. They took my sister and I last minute for a cut and color. Unfortunately my hair came out blotchy and uneven. My sister’s hair faded within two washes. I had really high expectations but my sister and I left unhappy with bad hair :-(

I wanted a «Vintage Old Hollywood Veronica Lake» look for my wedding. I went to another salon and they attempted to do it and failed. They told me I didnt have enough hair and suggested they can try again (charge me again) and to use extensions.
I was disappointed, running out of time, money, and patience. I Unilocaled and found Lenore. :)
She did my bachelorette party hair with victory rolls and it looked A-​MAZING. I booked her for my wedding hair and I couldn’t be happier.
She perfected the old Hollywood glamor style and made such great suggestions. My hair stayed the whole night and I received so many compliments. I didn’t need extensions just someone who knows how to do pinup hair. That’s Lenore!

I got a great updo, but the woman was an hour late… for a wedding that I was the maid of honor for. If I was able to do my own hair, I would have left.

Love this place! Came in for a special up do for my graduation and loved how my hair came out. Crystal and another stylist tag teamed it and did anwonderful job. I had couple ideas and they really brought it to life. :) i posted a pic to show how beautiful my hair came out

I went in because it’s been a really long time since I have done anything with my hair and I wanted to do something completely different and DRASTIC. Something I’ve never done before!
I showed Cindy a picture of what I wanted to do with my hair. I was a little nervous because, well what I wanted was completely different for me!
When the time came to finally see the final product, I COULDN’T HAVE BEEN ANY HAPPIER! I ABSOLUTELY love love love love love my new hair! I will continue to go here again and again!

Cindy Puente did a fabulous job on my hair. I was able to walk-​in and she was accommodating. The other ladies in there were very complimentary and even offered other services for future visits. I thought that was nice. Especially when I’m new to the salon! Price was fab. Product was good. Place was easily accessed… Promotion was offered for future services. I’m one happy girl! Thanks!

Walked in early morning on Saturday. Only two stylists were in so far but even though Teresa had a full schedule she fit me in for both a color and cut — and it was a new color for me and didn’t know how it would turn out. The color is EXACTLY what I wanted. And the cut is great. Went in based upon recommendations from friends although I didn’t get the same stylists they use. From what I could see by looking at everyone leaving — every stylist is great. My husband agrees.
