Found out about this place because DJ Michael Trance was going to be in town & Richard Sixx & I wanted to say hello. It’s a tiny little place(thus the 4 stars), but the service, the food & selection of drinks(craft beer on tap, wines & mixers) make up for the small space. The calamari, sliders & fish tacos were the bomb! The second time we were there, we had a waitress, Erica, who was amazing! Later came to find out she was new ! What? Definitely worth checking out, but would recommend making reservations if you want to sit down.

Came here on saturday for a few drinks. This was my first time here. When I first walked in I was taken back by how small it is. Our group of 8 took over the back corner. There is plenty of chairs and tables to seat everyone that was there. They had a dj playing good music. Drinks were decently priced. No one was dancing, not to much room if you wanted to. Dress code is cssual. I would come back. Nice little spot to come hang with friends.

I was here last Thursday night around 11:30pm. my friend was paying her drinks cash however the waitress insisted that she needed a card just on file which was okay so she gave her the card. when we were ready to leave my friend paid with cash, the waitress brought her change back but never returned her card. when she asked for it back the waitress told her it should have been in the little black card holder– it definitely wasn’t. the waitress had been calling her by name all night so definitely looked at the card and had it in her possession. she thought maybe she dropped it and started looking on the floor, in the other black card holders and was unable to find it. she told my friend that they usually find it after closing when they’re cleaning and to NOT block her card– why would she say that? super sketchy. they never found her card and caused my friend such an inconvenience of having to go to the bank and get a new one. probably wont be back.

Not a bad spot. The music is cool, a mixture of different genres. The food is cool. The people are cool. The service is cool. Overall, this place is a cool spot to lay low for the night.

Good local dive bar in uptown Whittier! We went here for happy hour and liked the $ 4.50 beers and good selection on tap. Looks like they have a DJ later at night and can get crowded. Plenty of TVs as well. Bartender was friendly and helpful and shared the happy hour menu. It was a lil stuffy inside and smelled like wings. I am sure we will be back there to have drinks! Cheers!

The food is amazing here! I went on a Monday night and it was pretty empty, so I was a little skeptic. My aunt brought me here and swore by the food. We ordered the Mac n cheese, spin fries and buffalo wings. I have no complaints what so ever. The Mac n cheese was creamy, the wings were spicy but flavorful and the fries were very similar to in n out animal style fries but just a tad bit tastier. I know it gets busy during the weekend but if you have a chance to pop in during the week for dinner you will not be disappointed! Yuuuuuuummmmy

This is a ok place to go if you want fried bar food. They do have a few other options that are not fried, but what we had were wings & fries. Not too bad, but I do miss Wingfix. One BIG disappointing thing about this place is how loud they play music. You pretty much have to shout across the table at eachother to hear. It’s way to small of a spot to play DJ music that loud… sorry Spin.

This place is awesome, it’s my neighborhood bar, the food is outstanding, and the service is great. Shrimp tacos are amazing, wings are great, and chicken nachos are ridiculous. Great spot, beer is well priced, great happy hour specials. Great place to watch the Raider games, unofficially this is a Raider /USC bar! Haha, not really, but they have great food and good drinks. I watch Raider /USC(or any PAC-12) games there though, all are welcomed to join! Highly recommend!

I usually spend my time next door at bambooze. I’m a regular. I love it there. Because I was going there I didn’t think of bringing my id. Well as usual they closed bambooze early and I still felt like drinking so I walked over to this location where they tried to card me, but I didn’t have my id. I was with a party of 4. Jesse said if more people came he had to kick us out! I found that extremely rude. You just lost a potential regular. Good Job. && I do have my id. Omw to Havana house!

We ordered macaroni and cheese, spin fries and buffalo wings. I have to admit the food is tasty, but we waited for 40 minutes for all of the food to reach our table. UNACCEPTABLE!

I regularly come this place to grab some tacos or nachos and have a beer. One day I’m allowed in wearing sandals… the next time I’m not. What’s your problem with sandals? It’s not like I’m walking in bare footed. Attire is listed as casual according to the lounge advertisement. Door man needs to be more consistent or get over his foot phobia.

Had a great time with my wife, having some cocktails and listening to music. The bar is small but the wings were great. Nacho on the other hand were cream sauce like, weird the cheese was like that. Service was minimum.

Small spot in uptown. Easy to find parking on the street and in the lot in back too. Spin usually features a different DJ each night which is cool since they all play different things. Service has been really friendly each time I’ve gone in and so far everything I’ve eaten here has been good too, my favorites being the pizzookie and tacos mmmm!

Order the sliders, nachos(chicken, my favorite), some sangria and enjoy the music. Spin Lounge is the place for you and your friends to gather when you want delicious food, lots of people-watching and the kind of music that has everyone in your party throw up their hands and go «OOOOOHHHH that’s my song» without sounding lame. I’ve seen everything from 21st birthday parties to couples who just want to eat and chill and Spin Lounge can accommodate it all. It’s fun to watch games here, they have huge TVs and usually fans from both sides are there for those of you that like a little trash-talking with your beer.

I’m giving this place an extra star just because of the proximity to home. Spin seems to be one of the more happening places in uptown. I just wish they had picked a different location, it’s very small and so it always seems a bit crowded. I went on a Thursday night, they had a Dj, it was decent. I decided to stick to beer however, after receiving my seemingly watery bay breeze. I’m not even super into cocktails, but now I know it’s not worth the $$

Chill, casual little(and I do mean little) bar in Uptown. This is located directly across from Sage Restaurant. Came in here a few times already, drinks are stiff, service is meh. Not a lot of space to sit at all The DJ’s are always good. Food is okay for bar food, I did get sick off their tacos with mango salsa mix. Huge plus is during football season, they have all you can eat pizza and wings for $ 12 during games, and it is pretty tasty.(Mostly Raider fans, lol) Prices are fair. So, if you are looking for a very chill bar to have a good drink and hear some tunes, here is the place. Forewarning, anytime after 7pm on Fri, Sat and Sun you will not be able to have a convo without yelling.

Went to spin lounge for the second time my boyfriend and I went to watch the 49ers play and stayed until the Laker game finished this is our second time at this lounge and the service from our waitress was so terrible she was extremely rude I actually had to speak to the bartender about her and the busser and they told me they did not know what her problem was the service was terrible I DONOT recommend going here at all we ordered pizza and wings which were good but if we are going to spend money at this facility I truly believe that the service should be good and our waitress should be friendly it really ruined our night while we were there.

OMG the food is fanstastic here! Food: We had the Spin fries, chicken wings, shrimp tacos, chips and salsa, ceasar salad, and garlic fries… everything was hot, fresh, and delicious!!! They make thier own salsa here and it is spicy! Sooo good on everything… don’t forget to ask for a side. Ambiance: Loved it. Nice and dark! 2 giant tv’s right above the bar. 2 more towards the back. The place is small, but intimate. Super chill to have a few drinks and a good meal! Drinks: CHEAP price… GOOD selection! Only beer and wine for now. They have a souju(sp?) type of vodka? I heard they’re awaiting their full liquor license soon. The types of beer they offer alone makes up for the lack of liquour anyway. Service: Amazing! Our server Josh was a super quick with our drinks and refills, and very attentive. Made suggestions on craft beers and providing samples,(YESS!!). He was the only guy behind the bar for a while and running food from the kitchen to tables, but that didn’t stop him from being nice and not ignoring anyone. Kudos Josh! Will I return? YES! Go NOW!

Well I already know this place is more geared to the younger crowd. Were in the new 30’s age range — not; 40& not exactly dead. Thinking if we came early afternoon it might not be too bad. I was wrong. The smell everyone talks about is there, I can’t describe the smell, it hits you, but like the fog, you just can’t figure out what it is? Didn’t eat there, so can’t comment on that part, although the smell would be a red flag not to want to eat there. Why did we go there again… oh yea they have Hangar 24, but only Columbus IPA(Orange Wheat — don’t know if they ran out or don’t carry it anymore… website shows they should). Now that tasted good, a little steep for a pint, but considering in Uptown everything there is a little on the«cha-chingy» side. The bartender was kinda a douche. Waitress was Ok. The clientele there were mostly 20 – 30 something year-olds so it’s age appropriate. But thinking back to my youth the people in charge or servicing always did seem cold and mean to the younger generation, but have no problem taking their money. But why would one that age want to be treated like shit for patronizing a business just for being young? The only thing good about this place was the music. Pass on this one.
