Stuft Pizza

They need better hours, the service here seems to want close rather than serve customers
They must in hurry up to go home and watch soap operas

Not only 1 but 2 cockroaches on our salads. A coworker suggested this restaurant which is near my home. I decided to go see the Warriors game with my family and ordered the family meal which comes with 4 salads. To our surprise my daughter saw a cockroach which was still alive and moving on her salad. We were disgusted and told the waitress, which all she did was apologize and took the salad away. We decided to give them the benefit of a doubt and stay and try the pizza. My wife wasn’t going to eat her salad anymore but started to check for any other roaches. We were shocked to find another in her salad and quickly got up and went straight to the counter and told the waitress. All she did was simply apologize and didn’t offer any type of help. It was a total of 7 of us, so we were slow to exit and no one ever stopped us to apologize or do anything. Usually on the first sign of trouble the manager comes out and does something to correct the issue. No one did anything and it wasn’t busy. Very disappointed because I was looking for a family restaurant were I can keep going with my family to watch the games.

I went to have dinner with my whole family to Stuft Pizza in Whittier & my niece finds a cockroach in her salad, YUK!, then we all start looking at our own salads & sure enough my sister in law found another cockroach in the salad. Disgusting! Two thumbs down

The pizza is good but the service is horrible. Every time I place a pick-​up order it is never ready, even though I intentionally arrive late to pick it up due to past experiences. I ordered pizza and wings today and was told 20 min. I arrived in 30 minutes, and they said it would be another 10 minutes! This is not a one-​time issue, this is poor management.

Walked in at 8:40, and were told we couldn’t sit because the dining area was closed. Keep in mind the signs say it closes at 9:30. I could understand walking in almost at 9:30 but even then restaurants are supposed to allow people to dine in until closing time. Rude.

Best pizza I’ve ever eaten! I usually get Hawaiian delite. I don’t even like wings but these wings are something else they are just perfect with a side of ranch. I also like to get potato wedges. Very friendly staff. Also am a regular here :)

Yum! Ordered the all meat pizza. The crust is bomb. New pizza place near our house. Hubz wanna try the pizza with Chorizo next.

Love it! Been coming here for years. There will never be another stuft pizza. For thick pizza this is the best in the west!

Looooved the wedges and the chicken wings were amazing. This will be my wing spot… all was delicious and yhe service was great… they are so nice and welcoming. Thanks you guys… everyone try this spot!

aside the food is good the people are cool. It deserves every star!

Great pizza. When in Whittier, always a pleasure to stop at #StuftPizza. Delivery might take a little long, but well worth it. Or just carry out.

Service is everything. That being said their Pizza is actually pretty good. Chicken, and service not so much. We came in for dinner and a Dodger game tonight and left not sure if I’d return. There was one waitress for the whole dining room which was packed so needless to say we waited and waited, and waited some more. No return visits during our stay to ask for refills or if we needed anything else after the food came. I even had to flag her down for the bill. She wasn’t rude by any means, just overwhelmed by the crowd maybe. None the less the service was not good.
Honorable Mention: Stuft Special (no onions) was delish!

Good pizza. we tried one of there lunch specials. Small mini pizza (4 slices) one topping, a salad and drink for $ 7.95. Not bad, and the food was really good. Love the thick crust on the pizza. served pretty quickly as well.
Bad part of this whole ordeal was the service. Two waitresses. Not sure if one was a waitress or manager, but only one was catering to the guests. Unfortunately our table wasn’t worthy I guess. After we got our food, that all we saw of the waitress. My mouth begging for some water, but it never came. So I waited patiently. So we finished our meal. Sadly the waitress finally came, but we were ready to leave.
Long story short: Food Good. Service: Needs to be worked on.

The 2 stars I’m giving is for crust and memories. Unfortunately, due to economy downfall the pizza quality and quantity is failing. All who have frequented Stuft know the crust is big and fluffy followed by thick and fulfilling cheese and toppings. Not so much anymore. So sad. Might as well buy a 5 $ to go pizza if the cheese at Stuft is going to start 3 inches into the pizza now. So sad:(

This place was great we have been going here for over 10 years n yesterday is definitely our last time there… should have taken pics of a salad tat we ordered after we told them can we get our sad chopped they literally took the salad from our hands took it to the kitchen chopped it n brought same exact salad that I was actually eating wow I found tat so horrible of course I did not continue to eat tat salad! That’s disgusting!
After walking out of the restaurant me and my brothers where paying attention on how the workers are on there breaks touching there phones n DO NOT go wash their hands they go directly to work! Also the MANAGER IS NOT in proper uniform for a restaurant she is wearing levys shorts with a t-​shirt and NOT wearing gloves while making pizza! We were looking at all this from the outside of the restaurant that’s jus HORRIBLE! So if u planned ever going there please pay ATTENTION!

The pizza is mediocre at best hich would get 2.5 stars. However these people sent salespeople door to door trying to SELL coupons. Wtf? What sane, sober person would BUY coupons? You know who doesn’t sell coupons? Restaurants that have a good product and decent customer service. Even though it is further away I guess we’ll have to get our pizzas from Lascaris or Brickhouse from now on.

Always good pizza with both pickup and dine in. They have a loyalty card that makes it an even better deal through out the year.

The mini pizza I picked up tonight tasted like I was eating cardboard. A frozen pizza would have been better. It was over cooked, the crust didn’t even rise. How hard is it to cook a mini 1 topping pizza? I know they were busy, it is football Sunday but I waited 30mins. for this & ended up tossing it and having cereal for dinner. Living around the corner, I have grown up with Stuft Pizza but unfortunately I feel their quality has been going downhill lately. I will definately be looking for a new local pizza place in the future.

Get the Loyalty Card at the beginning of the year for good local bargains. You’ll get fantastic deals on their buy one/​get one free pizza deals and 50% off a large pie deal with another purchase. Not too shabby.
The Everything is good, Stuft Special decent, and Pearly White (with ham) is nice. I would like a thin crust option, but this isn’t the place for that. No big. Still satisfied with the offerings.
I must say that the chicken wings were a nice surprise!
