My best friend and I met up at The Bottle Room for an early drink, light lunch and of course, girl talk. Awesome beer selection, especially the IPAs. I ordered a beer sampler with 3 IPAs and a saison, and the bff had some moscato. We also shared some fries and a cheese platter. The bff didn’t like the barbecue sauce, but the waitress explained that they make all their sauces in house so it’s not your typical barbecue sauce. My sister works at a cheese counter, and I’m so used to having someone exchange cheeses to me right when they come to me. Not the case at The Bottle Room… at first! After a few minutes of trying to distinguish the cheeses, a nice gentleman came and explained it all. I wasn’t too happy with the cheese selection because they all seemed the same. However, I did enjoy the apricot compote that came with it. Again, my sister is a cheese monger, I’m utterly spoiled when it comes to those things! I have been here several times already and enjoyed my visit and the beers every time. I just wish it was bigger!

Buen lugar para disfrutar un trago después del trabajo. Amplia selección de cervezas y aperitivos que debilitan la vista con tan solo verlos. Punto céntrico y la gente muy agradable

Good burger and calamari. Food was yums and it wasn’t expensive. Service was ok and I’d go again to try other food options and perhaps for dinner. I’d rate it more a 3.5 and a cute date spot :)

Always delicious! My friend and I split a the avocado turkey burger, a cheese plate and downed some good old wine. We were planning a baby shower that evening. I really just wanted dessert but by the time we left, we were completely full and forgot to order some! We probably sat ate and drank for 3 hours on a Tuesday night. I love this place, it’s yummy and the service is great!

I love this place :) Nice little spot with lots of happy hour times! Sunday & Monday — All day happy hour Tuesday –Thursday — 3−7pm happy hour Friday — 12−7pm happy hour Pretty awesome actually. Draft beer pints $ 2 off and $ 1 goblets and $ 1 – 2 off some small bites/app/flatbreads I ordered the Holy Jalapeño burger twice now. Very nicely done. Nice thick slab of medium rare beef and a nice hint of jalapeño. I normally like to eat really spicy things though but this was fine for me. The arugala salad that is included in the meal is okay though. I could do without it. If you don’t mind spending, I’d substitute for sweet potato fries or the shoestring fries! Tony tots! I love this little dish! Definitely ordered one for myself hehe Topped off with some chipotle mayo. I like dark beer so I ordered the Rasputin — their most similar beer to Guinness. Decently priced place. Nice ambience. Indoor and ourdoor seating. Friendly service. Quick service as well!

I haven’t had any of their food yet, but I plan to the next time I come here. The reason I came here was because of their craft beer selection and they had a good one. If you just want to come for a good beer, this is definitely the place. Their taps are constantly rotating and it’s usually hard to get beers. You won’t find this stuff at a Yard House or Oggi’s, so come and enjoy a good craft. As a craft beer connoisseur, the selection and the rotating taps gives this place a 20 out of 20, that’s if Unilocal would let me rate that high.

Do not come to The Bottle Room unless it is before 11 pm although, they do not close till 12am. I know, it doesn’t make sense right? I wanted to get some drinks after a movie and it was 10:59pm when I walked in and was told last call was at 11(1HOURBEFORECLOSING) never have I encountered this kind of service. Don’t you people want to work and take my money ?!

First time here: On the pseudo brunch tip: Winter Margarita(uhm soooooooooooooo good) Tony tots(super good) Avocado turkey burger(burger bun tastes like a flaky croissant, yum) If you want a no-so-regular place, definitely this is the go-to spot. Friendly staff. Welcoming. It’s mainly a drinking place and the food accents to ambience. We added chipotle sauce to turkey burger n made it better(not that it wasn’t good, just enhanced). Definitely a comeback spot

Great selection of crafts beers, they rotate their stuff so you can keep coming back and try something new. Also, their food is great. Kudos to the chef and the menu they currently have. Top grade stuff! –Burgers n booze– They have a happy hour menu, couple bucks off booze and other happy hour prices on food. This spot is located in uptown Whittier next to other cool spots to grab a drink and get some grub. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes good craft beers.

Very casual & industrial looking; good selection of beers(I’m told) I only like very few, but they always seem to have my fav when I come in. Also great appetizers :)

My friends and I were thrilled to find a gastropub nearby to quench our thirst for fine craft beer and The Bottle Room offered exactly that. Their wide selection of beers can be a bit overwhelming at first but the fact that free samples on draft beers are offered gives your the opportunity to try something new or compare two equally enticing options without having to commit to a full $ 7-$ 9 pint. The drinks experience was exquisite. On the other hand, the meal that followed was more or less average. I ordered the Uptown Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of sweet potato fries but with the size of their portions, it could have easily been an order of fries with a side of burger. Fries were served in a heaping bowl that dwarfed the size of the burger. The fries were delicious but the burger was just average. Their burgers are very thick and I would recommend ordering them on the undercooked side. But damn, for the $ 15 price tag, I would have easily gone to In-n-Out instead.

Decent food and alcohol selection, high prices. I have just finished writing a review for every gastropub in existence. But really, The Bottle Room was just average in my opinion. I was in the mood for something light so I opted for the tuna tacos instead of getting a burger.(My mistake, who want’s to get something light at a gastropub?) My first thought when they came was«I paid $ 9 for this??» Don’t like my picture fool you, they’re actually really tiny. Taste-wise, they were good. It did taste light and fresh, and the chipotle aioli or whatever sauce on top did add a nice zing. However, it was extremely expensive for two small tacos. Everyone else at my table ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. I tried a bite of my boyfriend’s burger and I thought it was pretty good. The meat patty was pretty thick compared to other burgers I’ve seen, so a plus if you like a large meat to burger ratio. Sweet potato fries were standard(though they claim to sprinkle them with some sort of ginger salt which I did not taste at all). Overall, I didn’t think the food justified the price. Even the burger+fries cost $ 15. But if you want to come for the alcohol, I thought they had a pretty good selection of wine/beer. Also a plus, we had a party of 6 but they didn’t charge us 18% gratuity like the menu indicated. YESSSS! I felt like we got away with murder.

The food was amazing. Wait staff(Ivanna) tried to pull a fast one. We had a large party that ordered a lot of food. When we got the bill, the server took the bill and rang it up and brought back the credit card receipt to sign. It already had a «service fee» on there, but the card receipt didn’t indicate that and still had a place for tip. Sneaky! I won’t go back, because of that.

I came here with my coworkers and was disappointed from the lack of attention from the staff. My sliders had a hair tucked in the patty. If my previous bite was any bigger I would have ingested the hair. The beers did not feel 32 degrees. The foie gras appetizer was good but it was missing acid to cut the fat. I believe that service is 40% of the experience. Once the service goes sour, I can’t enjoy the food. I’m the type of period who will wait until every one has their plate on the table. I’m glad my coworkers told me to go ahead and eat first because my food would have cold.

Eggscellent selection of craft beers. The chicken lollipops were good, and then the Mac and cheese hit it out of the ballpark. Also tried the black and blue burger plus sweet potato fries. Both were delish! I’ll have to come back to try the bread pudding!

:. Whittier, California .: First time at The Bottle Room and the place had a comfortable feel to it. More of an intimate ambiance, spacious enough to seat about 2 to 4 people max. I enjoyed the El Segundo White Dog IPA on draft, fresh and crisp and not too tart, good choice if you’re having a beer. I also had the Mini Bottle Room Burgers, they’re sliders, and they’re delicious. Caramelized onions, blue and swiss cheese. I was kind of disappointed there were only two, but if you order them during happy hour, they’re 5 bucks. Think of them as a gourmet snack. The service was helpful and the music was good. Price: $ 15 a person *Depending on what you order

Turkey burgers and Pliny on tap. Doesn’t get much better. Great craft beer selection and even better food to compliment your libations. Always get more bread when ordering the cheese and charcuterie. Do yourself a favor and return a few times, as you’ll want to try and pair everything on the menu. Also a great place to watch some footie! Great wine options too!

Came for the Happy Hour & left pleased. F.Y.I: The Happy Hour drinks are beers and wine by the glass. I don’t drink beer, so I wasn’t happy about that. Then, I looked at the menu and saw a beer that might work. The Anthem Cider. Said drink was presented to me and it was LOVE! I was going to have another round, give or take, of that! We ordered some food also. The Merguez Lamb Sausage Flatbread and the Vizza Pizza Flatbread. Both were great and did not disappoint! I think Gastropub is the best way to describe it. The focus here is the drinks, but the food is really good also. It’s could be a dinner place, providing you come here when it’s not too busy. The service was great, food was great & I’ll be back!

I was going to give this place 4 Stars, a good rating for sure but not quite the 5 Star then as the waiter hands me the bill but the kids decided to order dessert, the bread pudding. It was so amazing, even the wife who thought her Black and Blue burger was a little light on the blue cheese. I had the same, a Black and Blue and my burger was great. The two beers I tried were both very good. The service was awesome and it had a great group of people in there. They had a couple of patrons come to the patio with their dogs and the waiters put dog bowls with water right away. On Tuesdays, they give you $ 3 off the burgers after 6PM and you get Happy Hour for another hour. I would definitely recommend coming to the this place. Cant wait to try some more of the beers!
