Cannot recommend this hotel AT ALL! We stayed there at the last minute while passing through and we needed a place that accepted pets. The 2 ½ stars average rating was quite generous.
The hotel, apparently, is going through a renovation of sorts as the lobby is stacked with old TV’s being sold for $ 10.00 each. The pool was closed and filled with debris from the rooms. The lobby and hallways were pleasant enough, although they smelled of cigarette smoke.
The room, however, was horrible. Dark, dingy, disgusting comforters on the beds and threadbare carpet. There were no blankets on the bed, just sheets and the nasty comforters. I went to the front desk and asked for blankets and was told «oh, we don’t have blankets here.» Really?
The HVAC unit was old and clunky and thunked all night long. The exterior window seals had broken and the window was fogged and dirty. The bath towels, (two) were worn and thin. The complimentary toiletries were a foil packet of shampoo and small bar of soap which was barely enough for one shower.
While the price was cheap, I would have preferred to pay more for a room in which I could actually relax. Overall the place was run down and felt dirty.

I spent hours searching for an affordable hotel… seeing as I had never visited Wichita Falls before I read all reviews first .
I decided to take a chance & book at this hotel seeing at it was under new management. What a great decision !!!
The hotel is owned by a wonderful family, that are dedicated to improving their hotel & home .
I first came here 1÷1÷16 alone, very apprehensive, and nervous… being 45 & female .
The owners & staff made me feel so comfortable right from the start… my husband & I have been back here every weekend since and we are both more than happy, with me staying here alone during the week when I need too .
The family owners have gone above & beyond to make us feel welcome .
Totally recommend… friendly, safe, comfortable & affordable

Having read the reviews, I decided to give this place a try anyway, after all it was inexpensive, and I can put up with most anything for a night or two as long as bedbugs aren’t involved. So imagine my surprise when upon arrival I found the owners and staff busy replacing the old TVs with new flat screens. Also the the lobby and halls were clean, as was our room, and not «that’ll do clean» but spotlessly clean. Keep in mind that this is an older hotel, and the previous owners apparently began avoiding maintenance issues once it became clear that they were going to sell, IE the pool had not worked in some time. So some of the furniture is in need of replacement, and the hotel itself is in need of a makeover, all of which are in the works. The only problem I had here was a malfunctioning phone in the room, and it was replaced in less than ten minutes. So if you’re coming to Wichita Falls and need a hotel, give this place a try, it’s inexpensive, clean, and everyone is friendly and helpful. Had I stayed here after the makeover instead of slightly before I would probably have given them five stars instead of four.

The new management has taken what was apparently quite the roach motel and turned it around. Our room is clean, quiet and quite safe in spite of the neighborhood. I’ve paid more for worse, often under the guise of a brand name. The bed is comfy, I’m not cringing to get in the shower or touch the carpet. They’re pet friendly. Thank goodness my husband took a chance and brought us here for our stay in Wichita Falls.

Room smells like smoke. The floor was wet near the air conditioner and got worse over the next 2 nights-​gross. Pool was drained and exercise room was a storage room. When we checked in, police were there to arrest a man who apparently stole laptops out of rooms.
The good? Employees were nice.

Sick stayed and payed for a week bed was bad so moved me to another room dirty filthy roaches on the nite stand to top it off a used condom on the side of the bed gross canceled my week stay and changed hotel

Don’t waste your money. Not very clean, a bit smelly. pealing wallpaper. Cheap, but still not worth it.
