Brown Box Bakery

I ordered four cupcakes and all were delicious! I had the chocolate, apple, carrot cake, and cream cheese. I would recommend this bakery food truck!

The heyday of the cupcakery may be long behind us now, but you can still get you fix of the handheld dessert if the Brown Box is parked next to your favorite food truck that day. The blackboard on which the day’s selections are listed might promise more than the final product can deliver — (the cherry flavored frosting that filled a black forest cupcake was not nearly as good as the apple pie filling in the apple pie cupcake), and you may find that the cupcake you like the best isn’t what you thought it was going to be (the spiced cake, again in the apple pie cupcake), but they’re all moist and sweet and well worth a few bucks.
The problem with a brick-​and-​mortar cupcakery is that I have to deliberate walk into the establishment and order my shameful sugar fix; a food truck makes it impulsive because you’re never quite sure where they’re going to be. On the other hand, it also dooms me to ordering the chocolate and peanut butter cupcake every time I see them, because Brown Box does it a lot better than Smallcakes.
