This is a staple stop for me when I come to Wichita. It’s hard not to stray from the usual TAC(turkey, avocado, cream cheese). They have the mini combo for about $ 7 which is a mini sandwich & cup of soup in a bread bowl. My sandwich was exactly as I crave for — including the alfalfa sprouts and toasted bread. It could of been a little warmer. My clam chowder soup was just right temperature & had a smooth texture. The bread bowl was a little too soft for my liking but had a good taste.

The sandwiches here at cinnamons deli are easily some of the best that life has to offer. They’re a nice thing to have instead of just another subway or jimmy johns sandwich. However, their absolute awesomeness comes at a price.. . About $ 8 for a whole sandwich. They are relatively large, so the price isn’t horrible. The price and one of the worst atmospheres possible for a restaurant are the only things keeping this place from earning 5 stars, but hey, if the cheap location and high prices keep the place in business, I’m okay with that.

Love this place! I always leave with leftovers which is nice! The fresh baked bread is stellar and the soups are full of flavor. A family favorite for sure!

The food was a bit expensive, but the service made up for the over price each time I came in! I’ve gotten to know the workers Gabe and Luke very much and they are outstanding young men and make a fine addition to this establishment. Keep up the good service and I will keep coming back!

I love Cinnamons Deli. The bread is tasty and fresh. The sandwich toppings are ample, with a lot to chose from. My Cranky Turkey came out quickly, made to order, with just the right amount of extra cranberry sauce. I ordered two value meals and two drinks(12 ounce cups, refillable, for over $ 1.50 each). At almost $ 20, it is a bit steep but I am willing to pay that because of the quality. When I received my food today, I turned into the cranky turkey. When the girl brought out our food, there were only sandwiches. Ok, no problem. She forgot the chips. When I asked her about them, she said we would have to pay for them. Even though they came with the meal. Because we didn’t specify we wanted chips. I assumed that they were the standard side… well, you know what happens when you assume. When she continued to refuse to give us chips, I spoke to the exasperated manager, he simply asked what kind we wanted. Customer service is crucial folks… sigh.

Overrated and Overpriced. Sure the sandwiches are huge, and are decent. Cinnamon’s Deli is often drafty with literally crummy table and sometimes u friendly service, and it smells like a deli…(I know, it is a deli). It’s okay if you’re looking for something to throw at the void in your gut, but if you’re looking for something with any flavor at all, search elsewhere.

Excellent sandwiches and soup. My favorite us the turkey with cream cheese and sprouts, and the Wisconsin cheese soup. I always get the mini sandwich because they are so large. Trying to cut down on my carbs, so I don’t go that often. But when I want to be «bad», its my go to place.

My husband and I love this place! Their sandwiches always taste really fresh and their soup is delicious. No complaints from either of us. This is a place that we will frequent while living in Wichita.

Good sandwhiches and bread bowls. (Lol it’s bread of course it’s going soak up some of the soup.)

We had three different sandwiches and all were very good. Be sure to ask what they include on the sandwich because the menu does not tell you.

Eat here all the time and get the soup and sandwich deal! Recommend the Turkey Avacodo Sandwich and the chicken tortilla soup. Décor is awful, but the food makes up for it!

I read a good review of Cinnamon’s deli, and heard good things from another visitor to Wichita, KS, but I was disappointed with my visit. The unassuming exterior basic interior did nothing to hurt [or help] this little deli on Rock Road. I ordered one of their half sandwich soup specials, added a drink and a cookie for about $ 10. Their chicken tortilla soup was flavorful and offered a nice spicy kick, all cradled in a bread bowl [with the ripped out innards making an appearance next to it in the basket the used for serving, is this normal?]. Cinnamon’s offers limited toppings to their sandwiches served on thick slices of bread, and meats which aren’t very flavorful. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing [one of their turkey offerings], but it was unremarkable. I think i got the last bit of their lettuce as it was clearly the innards of an iceberg head. Their Snicker Doodle cookie had a good coating of cinnamon on top [you have to get a cookie with cinnamon at Cinnamon’s…right?], but I’ve had better as well. Their tea is gross, like it had been sitting for weeks and re-served day after day. I had to dump it and got something else. Their soup and speedy service was the only thing which saved this place from getting 1 star.

I am visiting Wichita for work and some of my colleagues decided to have lunch here. Cinnamon’s Deli is a great place to grab lunch. They have great sandwiches at very affordable prices. They have a great lunch special. I was able to order a half sandwich and a cup of soup for $ 7.95. The sandwich is quite big and very filling. I ordered the turkey avocado cheese sandwich. It was very good and just as big as a full sandwich at any other joint. For the soup I got the tomato bisque which is served i a bread bowl. This lunch combination was great. The food was tasty and is a great value.

Who doesn’t like a soup and sandwich joint? There’s not too many criteria I can think of to judge a place like this, provided everything’s freshly-made. An expansive menu and fresh bread gets major points, too, though not too many places go the extra mile. Seemingly, Cinnamon’s does intend to go that extra mile, as I could smell that fresh bread as soon as I entered. They use it in all their soups, too, serving everything in a bread bowl. I ordered a soup and sandwich combo, and it was too much bread; I had to through the majority of the bread bowl away. I ordered a smoke stack, which was smoked turkey, smoked beef, and smoked gouda, with lettuce and a Russian mustard. I’m not entirely sure what a Russian mustard entails, but it provided a nice sweet counterpoint to the smoke overload from the meat and cheese. I’m not typically a fan of lettuce, either, but in this sandwich it serves as a distinct flavor counterpoint to the rest of the sandwich and was intelligently prepared. The one bad thing about Cinnamon’s is that, while they freshly-baked bread, it was the bleached white type of bread — unsubstantial and no crust to speak of. It was odd how the sandwich slices were toasted, too — there was a discoloration to indicate that the bread had, in fact, been toasted, but it didn’t really taste any different. Still, Cinnamon’s is a pretty enjoyable sandwich restaurant, and you have to respect the though with which they give their sandwich components, and the bread on which they make them.
