Awesome place. I got the mushroom onion Swiss burger. It was cooked exactly how I asked for it. They piled the toppings on. It had to be a whole carton of shrooms and half an onion. The cheese was melted and gooey. The fries perfectly cooked. I also found the price very reasonable.

So I found this spot today by using… you guessed it Unilocal! It’s a little hole in the wall corner spot ran by a family. Great atmosphere and awesome food. The burger I had was flavorful and had you can tell it’s fresh. They double grind their chuck daily. I had my burger with bacon and cambozola cheese. My oh my what flavor! This type of cheese isn’t for the faint of heart. It has strong earthy tones and has depth of flavor. It’s like a strong gorganzola. With bacon, LTPO this was off the chart good. I also very much enjoyed the sweet potato fries. They have a host of dipping sauces to try so that makes it fun. I now have a new burger favorite for Wichita when I’m here on business!

Burgers were good… fries nice thick cut. Wuick service. Casual atmosphere. A bit pricey though.

Everything here is house made. Locally owned and not a chain. The Fizz part of the name relates to all of the old time sodas that are still made, and they carry most of them. The fries are hand cut and one order is more than enough for two. The best part for me is the build your own hamburger. Be sure to try a side of sweet pickles.

This was a great hamburger. The build your own option is the best. Try the fried egg on your burger.

Burger amazingness! I love this place, but I also keep forgetting about it at the same time. If you want a tasty burger, check this place out! Their atmosphere is small and great! I have come for lunch and dinner and personally I think you get out quicker during lunch time vs dinner time. You order yourself an amazing burger and a LARGE plate of fries to share with a group of friends. They do a great job service large and small groups. I love how they bring out a tun of different sauces for the fries to share. There are so many options your bound to find more than one that you like and keep on munching down on. You can’t go wrong with any burger their all good, just make sure you order the kind you like with the right toppings. The food and atmosphere about this place is great and suits it well. This place is still open after all this time and shops going in and out of this shopping center, so obviously their a place you will want to check out, over & over & over… you get the idea. After you try this place you won’t want any other burger place in town. The service is always great and the food is great quality as well. Check it out and you will be glad you spent the money on some good tasty burgers!!!

Hands down the best burgers in Wichita ! Not because I personally know Scott & Stacey but because they cook everything in peanut oil. I couldn’t believe what a difference that made. Just trust me go eat here. You won’t regret it a bit! Just need a west side location & I’ll come work here!

I’m so happy to have found this place! It’s a place you could easily pass by without noticing. I had their standard burger with cheese to try out the food and I loved it! Everything is made to order. The beef is ground daily onsite and all sauces are scratch made too. Even the lettuce is cut fresh by hand daily. This attention to detail and quality shine through in their flavors. The staff is very friendly. Next time I crave a burger this is where I’m headed!

We are here for the first time, and it was completely awesome. The waitress was attentive and my wife was pleased, so that tells me it was good. We will be back!

Veggie burger is not good. It’s a small mushroom and a little zucchini between 2 pieces of bread. The Veggie Sandwich at Wine Dive is much better! I tried the big steak fries. The fries are okay, but I like the fries at Five Guys better. VEGETARIAN!

When I like something, I will order it every time I’m there until I get sick and tired of it. I’m never sick and tired of their house burgers(with bacon). Service is always outstanding at Fizz. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. I’m not a germaphobe but I do appreciate walking into a clean eatery; I like how clean the place is. Their sweet potato fries are pretty good. Not the best I’ve had, but not the worst either. The fries could be a little crunchier but I’m not really bothered as I love the dipping sauces. Don’t forget to ask them to let you try all of the available sauces!

Really love this place for hamburgers when you want something off the beaten path a bit. The burgers are tasty and juicy, among my favorites. I love the one with blue cheese. The french fries come in huge portions with fantastic choices for dipping sauces. They have a nice patio so you can eat outside. The noise level is just right for families — the kids aren’t breaking the silence, but you can still have a conversation. Only thing I’d change is maybe add more to the menu, it’s not huge, but once you find a couple favorites who needs pages of stuff right?

Had a long, long wait. Thought the staff was rude. There are better burger joints in Wichita without the attitude. Lots of fries-big deal & before the burger? I don’t get that. After looking forward to going, I was disappointed.

We drove 30 minutes to try the food here. We had to wait 10 minutes before the server took our drink order and another 15 minutes before she came back to take our order. She did take orders for other tables that came in after we did. We asked for a side of barbecue sauce three times before we finally got it and we never did get the pickles we ordered. The barbecue pulled pork and sweet potato fries were average. We won’t go back.

Great burgers and fries came with a variety of sauces, but the sweet potato fries came out burnt and wrinkly. I give them three stars because after taking our orders the waitress did not come to our table a single time but checked on her others two or three times each. I assume she was working under the presumption that younger customers would not tip as well, so I made sure that her suspicions would become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Thoroughly disappointed about how we were treated here. For the record I usually give a 25−30% tip.

Fizz Burgers is local, friendly, and ridiculously tasty. Known for their special sauces, the food is uniformly excellent. Great burgers, chicken and pork sandwiches, plus hand crafted«fizz» drinks, beer and wine. Delightful wait staff and be sure to say«Hi» to owners Scott and Stacy.(This is a picture of someone else’s burger… I ate mine too fast!)

Stopped in last night for a burger and salad. Does anyone want to cook on Mondays? Not me! Sat on the patio for the first time, wow — nice touch with the umbrellas and a night when it wasn’t 40 mph winds and it was 74 degrees! The salads and fries were the rave tonight. The burgers are a given and cannot be overlooked as one of the very best in Wichita. They were a bit understaffed for a busy crowd, but since we were outside — it was no worries! The different sauces they offer are unique and make the fries and burger extremely special with flavors. I highly recommend this place.

Fizz? More like Fizzle. Why folks are bubbling over this mediocre burger joint baffles me. However, based on the droves of folks filing into the place, my opinion is different than most, but I stand by it. First it is expensive. The ambiance at a McDonalds is better; it is very dark punctuated with harsh ouside light. The service was okay, but then there is not much to offer in the way of service other than to throw a plate of fries on the table and bring the burger. That serving strategy annoyed me — the fries should have arrived with the burgers. The food … well: Although the claim is that the meat is ground chuck, it is bland and tasteless. Apparently no seasoning is added to the meat — not even salt?! — so one can dress one’s own burger with a dizzying array of cheeses and sauces. My dining companion had the Blue while I had the Boursin ½ pound burgers; we shared a regular sized serving of sweet potato fries. Neither of us was impressed by the flavorless concoctions and the fries, too, desperately needed salt. I do applaud their use of peanut oil to fry — it does the job quickly at high temps and preserves the flavor of the item being deep fried. Overall — uninspiring. Except that we could not have enjoyed adult beverages(the reason for two stars instead of just one), we should have just gone to Sonic.

This a great place! They have excellent meals and, even still, I find it difficult to depart from their house burger when ordering. Their fries, both regular and sweet potato, are tasty and, as far as I’m concerned, the best anywhere. The sauces are a nice addition, but one can enjoy the fries with out any. Their bottle selection is great. In nice weather you can enjoy their outdoor patio. They use peanut oil, so the deep fried items are healthful for all but those with peanut allergies. This is the home of the best burger and fries in Wichita, and that says alot.

Despite their comittment to quality and freshness, Fizz’ inability to improve or evolve their product has caused my enjoyment of them to suffer. Their large and haphazardly-packed patties still need seasoning. The fries are thick, barely cooked through, and not drained after coming out of the fryer, leaving a gross oil slick on my plate. They haven’t changed much over the past three years, but Wichita has. I’ve had better components of burgers and fries at Siena Tuscan Grill, The Hill, Public, Lakeside Club, and probably a few others. They all had their faults, too, but it proves that there are some people that realize that slicing potatoes that thick often does not lead to a crispy fry. The house burger is still a fun time(especially if you opt for the more reasonably-sized ¼ lb patty), but they’re getting left behind. Since my last update I’ve also been to Blanc in Kansas City. Highly coincidental name aside, I think the execution of both restaurants is pretty distinct. Blanc goes for a level of upscale that Fizz can’t achieve and doesn’t want to. Blanc is also interested in growing their brand with new locations, seems like, and places a much greater emphasis on their beer selection. Blanc is a good burger in a city full of boutique burgers; Fizz is a moderately upscale burger in a town that doesn’t have many. I don’t think there’s much comparison.
