Had the gyro which was better than I expected! Only thing is that the put pickles on it. Garlic parmesan tried were. good just wish they were crisper. Onion rings were good though!

For fast food, not bad. Burgers and in general– a little expensive. Great Breakfast bowl, French fries and the Dessert ice cream Mudslides are pretty darn good. Not a big fan of the rest of the menu… just somewhat flavorless. Lots a great burger choices in Wichita. Hands down over McDonald’s, Burger King and some others. Ties with Wendy’s and Sonic. Always good service and clean inside! Kill the raging loud speaker at the drive-thru — OMG that’s annoying!

I ordered a Philly & milkshake for dinner. It was just what I wanted & expected. The service was fast & friendly. The restaurant was clean. I would def go back to THIS Spangles.

Guacamole does not mean SPICY, but at this place it does. Below mediocre fries, weirdly seasoned. Supreme burger very much tastes and smells like McD and guacamole burger does not taste like anything, besides spiciness. Also, $ 17 for two combos(burger, small fries, small shake) seems a bit high with other options around. 4 stars for their shakes though — nice choices and texture.

When in Rome… We asked our hosts in Wichita where to go for some local cuisine, and among several others on their list was the Spangles chain.(There are several in the area.) It reminded me a lot of Steak-n-shake or Freddie’s. Kind of a 50’s atmosphere complete with Juke Box and cheap greasy food, which is what you’re there for anyway. Nothing fancy about it, just a nice step up from the usual fast food chains. There are a thousand better restaurants in Wichita I’m sure, but if you’re trying to avoid Burger King and Wendy’s, definitely give them a chance.
