I have been seeing Blake to get a color correction because another stylist at this salon totally trashed my hair. They didn’t charge me the first time I went to get it fixed but they charged me $ 147 the second time for a terrible hair cut and color that I don’t like at all and my hair still has dark stripes that they couldn’t get rid of. He gave me the same story about needing to work towards a goal. I can’t bring myself to pay for another hair cut/​color from this salon. The one stylist I loved there left and I haven’t been happy with my hair since! One stylist cut my hair without even asking me what I wanted her to do, she just started cutting. I tried to make the best of it and give this salon a second, third chance but it’s too expensive to pay for something I don’t want!

I felt like I was paying for an educated upscale place when I used to go here. I have been seeing Blake for almost a year every 6 weeks. The first few times he was correcting work that my previous stylist had done so I was always a little happier with my hair but not totally excited about my hair. He boasted about how great he was and how we always needed to work towards a goal instead of creating what I was asking for in 1 — 2 visits. I mentioned areas that were bothering me and he would just talk his way out of it and not correct the color problem. I didn’t want to give up on him. I wanted a regular stylist. I just cannot live with myself if I have to pay him another $ 250 to not be happy with my hair. He pushed products extremely hard! I told him that I wasn’t comfortable buying product because it wasn’t cruelty free. I didn’t mind using the hair color because it’s harder to find what I need cruelty free but hairspray and shampoo is so easy to find. He would argue and say no no Redken is cruelty free they just can’t say it. I claim BS! I would try another stylist here but honestly I don’t think Blake is professional enough to not act childish and make me uncomfortable coming back there. If you read this and know of a good salon message me. I am in search of a good colorist.

Finding the right stylist is challenging! Luckily Fringe Salon has several top notch professionals which makes the process easy! I’m partial to Evy Andra! I always leave feeling especially beautiful! The staff are friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work Fringies!
