Harry’s has a terrific neighborhood bar atmosphere, comfy, intimate and friendly. But best of all, tonight I had one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had! MY bacon cheeseburger and steak fries were positively YUMMY.

One of my favorite local spots to hang out! The menu is mainly typical bar food but it’s always delicious! My go-to items are the Chicken Salad Wrap with steak fries and the Frito Chili Pie, both reliable choices. Harry’s is known for their strong drinks so I wouldn’t advise ordering a double, one is pretty dang strong! The Bloody Marys are A+ and they always have great drink specials. The bar is staffed by friendly faces and the bar stools are always filled with regulars which is a reflection of how the guests are treated. The patio tends to get a little smoky but it’s always busy and is equipped with heaters in the winter.

Harry’s is consistently a good experience for a bar and grill. It’s not really that the food is excellent, because it’s nothing to write home about. It is your standard bar food; burgers, appetizers, sandwiches etc… Neither is the drink selection, there are no beers on tap so its not the ideal place for craft beer heads. It’s kind of an old place, dimly lit and casual. However… What Harry’s provides is a consistently awesome social experience. It is a great hangout spot. The staff is always friendly and eager to pour stiff drinks. Speaking of stiff drinks… a little well known secret about Harry’s is that their mixed drinks pours are the absolute strongest in Wichita. If you want a bold, inexpensive bourbon and coke look no further. Harry’s has a fantastic patio, it’s a fully shaded patio with plenty of seating. There is some island art painted on the building wall. The servers are great about reaching the customers on the patio so service remains excellent. My favorite quality about their patio is the general atmosphere, it just feels comfortable. It is hard to explain, but if I had to I would say it’s due to great lighting, widely diverse clientele, a cheerful staff, and a sense that is is your«friendly ol local dive bar.» Harry’s is the kind of place you can go to after a long shift and just unwind.

Cool setup for a bar! They make it look tropical! Normal food and a pretty good beer selection, food is ok!

Good drinks and good food. Service is questionable. Sometimes we have great service there and sometimes it’s a little off. Tonight it was a little off. Couldn’t keep our tabs straight between two couples. It had to be straightened out multiple times before we could pay. That’s a little frustrating but it’s okay. It’s an okay place to grab a few drinks. After reviewing my tab I noticed that they advertised on the wall $ 6.50 for this special red bull summer drink and only tab I was charged $ 7.25, so yea I’ve made the decision to not return there.

Harry’s is great! The drink specials are always really good and the service is excellent. If you don’t necessarily know exactly what you want, the waitresses are always happy to make suggestions or make something up that’s exactly what you didn’t know you wanted.

I love Harry’s. Amazing drink specials and the waitresses always remember you. Decent beer bottle selection but nothing for the dissenting beer drinker. Great neighborhood bar.

Harry’s is the perfect example of a good Ol neighborhood bar and grill. Their menu offers a variety of food including burgers, sandwiches, wraps and steak. The mixed drinks are notoriously strong, most people wouldn’t ever want to order a double. By looking around you can tell that they have a lot of regulars. If you look closely you can see engraved name plates around the edge of the bar as tributes to regulars that have passed away. It’s obvious they take care of and appreciate their regulars, but the servers and bartenders still offer the same quality service and care to anyone that comes in. They have a variety of specials all throughout the week. My favorite is the $ 8 meatloaf meal and $ 3 whiskey special on Thursdays. I mean what is better than that?! They also have a pretty nice patio that is heated in the winter and a blast in the summer.

Everytime I come here I always see the same patrons I saw the time before, that shows you they’re doing something right. Tasty bar food, good strong drinks, decent beer selection, and attentive servers. This place has a lot of regulars and I’m becoming one of them.

This bar is pretty cool! I can tell that there are a bunch or neighborhood regulars that come. People from different styles come here. This is a dive bar joint and there are LOTS of these everywhere in KS. I can also tell this is where most young adults come to gather, drink, and socialize. Prices are cheap too! especially compared to back home. I had a blast here because I had just arrived last Thursday night after delays at the airport. I definitely needed this fix. My gf and her family definitely showed me a great time; we played a drinking game, talked about random topics, and just got to know each other over drinks. I have made it clear that Harry’s is the bar where I finally got to have my first glass of a vodka-soda, Washington Apple, and some other SoCo mix drink. Very interesting! Overall, I had a great time here at Harry’s. This is a great spot for late night drinkers and sipping on cheap well-made drinks! thats a plus!

Food is good. Bar food, but done right if you are just in the mood for it(grease not being a problem while drinking). The wraps are pretty legit for a burger joint, and the waffle fries with ranch? Love that comvo. I go every time I come home. Very good atmosphere. No loud music, great acoustics make it a laid back bar where you can have an actual conversation without yelling. Lots of neighborhood regulars and friendly service make it a diamond in the rough on the east side and make up for any perceived deficincies ib food quality.

Can’t go wrong with a trip to Harry’s! Strong drinks, beer specials, and great food! I always end up getting the b-52 burger with waffle fries, love it. I usually have to stake out a table on the patio on the weekends, waiting for people to leave but definitely worth it!

This is my go to place when I’m up for a few drinks and some solid bar food. The place is nothing too special but gosh the drinks are awesome. They definitely over pour their drinks which is fine with me. I’ve tried several food items on the menu and for a bar not too shabby! Service isn’t that great, I think it’s more of a staffing issue than anything.

It’s Wichita version of «Chears». Great small bar with great food. If you want to have a bite and a brew(or any other drink you like) this is where you need to be. Atmosphere is what you would expect. Plenty of tv’s and music but still not to loud to have a conversation.

Food was good. The service was excellent. The best dirty vodka martinis I have ever had. There is no skimping on the booze. Parking is decent, but the earlier you get there the better since they do share parking with Margarita’s. The Ladies’ facility was very clean and well-stocked. They offer no blended drinks. No piña colada for Suki.

Wichita is full of dive-y places and Harry’s is that sort of place. In fact, if Harry Lockhart hadn’t have landed in LA, this is just the type of place that him and Harmony Faith Lane might have ended up re-uniting in. With a nice, comforting Midwestern vibe, the tables at Harry’s are stacked close enough that you could probably hug your neighbor. It’s dimly lit, so it won’t matter if the table next to you is full of NRA lovin’, deer carcass carryin’, Dodge Ram drivin’ — erm — folks(?) or orange skinned, blonde girls from — uh — the suburbs. Harry’s is the place where you go if you want standard drinks, standard beers and a generally good time. There’s Bud Light and some craft bottles. You can order a Cuba Libre and the bartender will know what you’re talking about… yes, you’ll even get your fancy little lime. It’s nothing extraordinarily special, but nothing extraordinarily awful. Harry’s that place that’ll quickly become your go-to bar in East Central Wichita, and there a’int nothing wrong with that.

Harry’s is like the«Cheer’s» of Wichita. A mostly blue collar crowd, with a smattering of College Hill yuppies and empty-nesters is what you’ll probably find any day of the week. I don’t come to Harry’s for the food, but I hear the burgers and waffle fries are decent. The drinks are pleasantly stiff and the service is quick. Nice little patio with heater lamps for the smokers, and plenty of TVs(all though they’re all a bit small) inside to watch the game. Solid choice for a drink in Wichita.

There are other bars in Wichita that might have better food and beer selection, but the people that come to Harry’s do it for as much the atmosphere as anything else. Even the Thursday of my visit the place was very full of folks who looked like they had been there a while, having a good time, and were probably going to return at some point in the future. That’s not to say that Harry’s doesn’t have a moderate-sized menu of bar food, and their famous B-52 burger was above-average, though not outstandingly so. And paired with frozen fries and the best beer in the cooler being a Sam Adams, it’s not at the top of my list as a dining destination. However, if you have a few friends that are looking to have a fun night, Harry’s can’t be beat.
