Bought a Groupon to try it out. Daughter had Bierock and only rated it so so. My Reuben was gross. Bread was hard and dry. Meat had no flavor and the whole sandwich was just bland. The free cookie we got was hard as a rock. Nothing at all impressed me with this place. Not returning.

Was disappointed they did not have turkey and they ran out of roast beef. However, I tried their Italian and it was really good. The bread was fresh baked and crusty – the best part. I got a side of potato salad. It wasn’t the best or the worst I’ve ever had. The potatoes were cut thick which I liked, but the dressing was kind of thin.
The guy behind the counter, not sure if he was the owner, but he was very nice.
Wish they had fountain drinks instead of bottles.
I will be back for sure. Next time I’ll try their baked goods – they looked really good.

Well I honestly can’t rate the food, Never got that far, Drove all the way from Newton to try this place out, First off, Website clearly states Sandwich (they advertise six different types), chips and drink for $ 6.95. Menu in restaurant starts at 6.95 for a HALF sandwich combo and goes up to like 12.99 for a full sandwich drink and chips. Kitchen worker (who apparently was owner) was rudely answering the only other customers in the place about a wireless connection, something about logging into a nearby location because «they cant log into the twizted confection one», really in this day and age, a deli that doesn’t offer it’s patrons wifi?! Anyhow I ask the guy at the register why the prices are so much higher than what is on their website. He hollars back at the cook (owner) «hey, This guy wants to know why our prices are different from our website.» «Owner replies, I don’t know, that’s the website people, I don’t have control over what they do» (Oddly enough for not having control the prices are changed on the site now this evening, so I guess he got control somehow) He proceeded to bable rudely and then said we could still get a sandwich and chips for that price, just chips though, no other side, funny i never asked for a different side. His attitude sucked. I looked at the wife and she said we had no obligation to eat there. So we decided to leave, On the way out of the establishment I blurted out to the owner good luck with staying in business. I don’t know what reply I expected, I guess I expected maybe a «I’m sorry, let me try to please you» Not even close, he proceeded to actually follow us out of the place giving us his thought on customers like us. I admit at this point I lost my cool and loudly requested that he go «sexually pleasure himself», well shorter words. I believe his last statement was he hopes we would never return, Guess what my friend, I can almost guarantee you will get your wish.
P. S. the place seemed kind of dingy, But I was not there long enough to thoroughly evaluate. Also before you take your spouse or children keep in mind this whole incident took place with my eleven yr old child and wife present, that should tell you there is no respect from this establishments owner.

!!!attention!!! every one these people are scam artis they take your money and scew you out of your cake they took my money and told me its life deal with it they said they can make a desing i showed them and gave and a broken massed up not even close to what i showed them cake there a scam when i asked for a refund she gave me half my money and said that tough i cant help you so please what ecer you do dont eat or try to let these scam arits make you a cake there place has rats and is a fillty rat trap

My friend told me that this place sold bierocks. Best Bierock I’ve had in a long long long long time! Pricey ($ 4.)but definately worth it! Glad I now have a place to buy bierocks, wahooooooooooooooooooooooooo! ;)

Great variety of cakes, cookies, pie and the like. The pie was very good. Prices are also good for being able to try a number of different desserts and share with a friend (the slices were huge!). Can’t wait to come back and try bierocks. I will definitely be supporting this local Wichita place in the future.

I ordered «Salt Rising Bread» for a special fiend and was disappointed. I took the bread home and cut into the small loaf to taste. It was awful. Looked good on the outside but not cooked in the middle. I retuned (3^rd time) with the second small loaf and spoke to the baker (owner). He cut into the loaf and stated this was not correct. He stated that he would make the bread correctly and call me on the following Monday or Tuesday. That was 3 weeks ago and have not heard from him. I will not return to the store be because I do not trust the person.

Was contacted by the OWNER, who identified himself this time. He wrote:
«I checked the cameras in our bakery and on the 13^th the day before valentines day we were fully stocked and had 2 coconut cream pies in the case. I also talked with my staff, yes that means I am the owner, and my staff said that we did not have any muffins in stock on the 13^th nore does my register show a purchase of a muffin on the 13^th. I will offer you a refund if you can provide me a receipt of purchase, however, I will not provide a replacement since you made it verry clear in your first complaint that I couldnt pay you to eat here again. Also I am the owner and if you had any idea what it takes to operate a business maybe you would save your comments about going out of business.»
… Does this sound like a business owner that you want to patronize? He never offered an apology, basically called me a liar, and is asking me to provide a receipt for a 5 dollar food order from over 2 weeks ago; Do YOU save all your food receipts for 2 – 3 weeks? I sure don’t.
I may have been over-​zealous in my initial judgements of this place, but I am feeling more and more vindicated each time the owner emails me on Unilocal

I love having a great sinful little bakery nearby! I just tried the raspberry Maid Of Honor still warm from the oven and a chocolate chip cookie. They were both wonderful and butterfully delicious!

A one-​stop shop for superfluous z’s and just about every baked thing you can imagine, I walked into Twizted Confections as a lady was bitching out the owner because he ran out of something on what turned out to be a very busy weekend for him. Once the situation was diffused, and following another rather large order from some older madam, I tried a few different things — walnut baklava (on point), a «fat kid» — a brownie baked into a cookie (pretty close to being on point), and one of their homemade truffles. The truffle was the only thing I wasn’t too crazy (twizted) about — the interior of the truffle wasn’t quite the proper texture for the ganache I was expecting. At the same time, this chocolatier work is surprising to find in a bakery, period, so points for trying. Twizted makes a lot of different things, and while my mind tells me that they can’t possibly be good at everything, my mouth has told me that they are nonetheless pretty danged skilled.
