We had a party of 18 for lunch on a Saturday to celebrate my son’s college graduation. We tried several of the appetizers including hummus, crab crab-stuffed mushrooms and the bruschetta. They were all delicious. Our parties entrees included the fajitas, lobster mac and cheese, Philly cheese steak, the steak sandwich and a few others I can’t recall. Not a single person was disappointed with their food which is quite the feat with a party that big. Their lunch prices are extremely reasonable and they give you plenty of food. The service was good considering the poor girl was the only one working and we had her running all over and there was also a table sitting outside she was tending to. Cute trendy atmosphere yet laid back still. There’s plenty of parking on the west side which of course we didn’t see until later. Will definitely go back again.

This restaurant always has good food, good service, good atmosphere. The wait staff are very good and the menu is very imaginative and diverse. Overall, I rate this restaurant as a fun place for all. My only gripe, are the poor wine pours. For a restaurant that specializes in a wide variety of wines, they consistently«short» the wine glass pour compared to other restaurants. It’s downright stingy. So, if your coming for the food, service and atmosphere you’ll not be disappointed. But if your appeal is the wine,(hence«Wine Dive»), 2 glasses of wine is equivalent to 1 for most of the competition and therefore, twice the price.

We were in town from Denver to spend Mother’s Day weekend with the college kid. We couldn’t get a last minute reservation for Mother’s Day brunch at Yaya’s. We passed by this place Friday night and it looked interesting, so we made reservations based on the Unilocal reviews and we’re so glad we did. The atmosphere was cute, classy, and trendy. The fellas loved their chicken and waffles, the Cajun Eggs Benedict was yummy, and the service was great! What an awesome find for Sunday brunch.

Horrible vibe, very stuffy and expensive. Too bad because the location is great, bruescetta is amazing. Go for an app and wine in the afternoon. Never for dinner.

Great quality food, juicy chicken and great service. My boyfriend and I wanted to try the place for a long time but Unilocal reviews made it seem like the place was super expensive and conservative. Something I enjoy actually, are the different price points on the menu. You can eat for a good deal on a lunch date or impress a new date at dinner. We tried their duck hash and chicken and waffles today– they were 10⁄10. The chicken was SO juicy and tasteful. The duck was on the bone still, so tender and cooked to perfection. Sangrias on Sunday are LARGE, I couldn’t finish mine. Will go back!

This place has a great romantic setting. I have had a few things here their burger and their parmesan chicken salad, which they don’t always have on the menu. Their parmesan chicken salad is a must go to choice always! The service is good and the place can get really busy on the weekend so make reservations in advance if its a weekend night you choose to go.

Went for Valentine’s Day! They had some specials for the day, which was nice. Had a small candle for each table, that was cute. The shut the blinds to make it more dark & romantic & personal I’m assuming! Waiter didn’t come around very often to check on us though, and there weren’t that busy up until the time we were about to leave which was about 5 o’clock. We had an app, 2 entrees, and a piece of cheesecake each(my boyfriend and I) & our bill was $ 80. Almost everything on the menu as far as entrees go, is upwards of $ 20. Even Our slices of cheesecake we got was $ 8 a piece. Really good food though! Would probably go back! Outside is deceiving, looks kind of run down, like a hole in the wall, but the inside is very nice.

I’ve enjoyed this venue every time I have been. I was there last Saturday with 5 others for lunch. We had fried oysters on nachos — yum! Coconut shrimp was to die for. I had the fish tacos which were tasty as well. My lunch companions enjoyed their queso fundido and sandwiches. I had an expresso martini that was great as well. In the past, I’ve enjoyed the Sunday brunch and S’mores dessert! Wine and other drink options are plentiful. Staff is always friendly and efficient. The ambiance is great for many types of dining occasions. This place is a gem in Wichita and I hope it continues to succeed.

Loved the Duck Hash for Sunday Brunch! Very tasty. I preferred that over the Lobster, Shrimp and Crab Mac & Cheese. The Deviled Eggs were pretty tasty, too. The Lox Bagel was good but not as memorable. The private room downstairs is a nice place for small gatherings and celebrations.

Consistently excellent, using the best, freshest ingredients! Great College Hill location. The VEGETARIAN enchiladas are out of this world, the right blend of vegetables and sauce. The Fattoush salad uses the best mixed greens. The Veggie sandwich is the perfect blend of ciabatta bread, pesto, and vegetables. Bruschetta is one of the best I’ve had-the pesto and parmesan cheese are authentic. However, the Frites are too hard and crispy. The Caesar salad is less than satisfactory.

Plenty of wines by the glass and a decent menu make for some good eating! I had the Steak Frites Au Poivre. The steak was seasoned with a subtle hand and cooked perfect medium rare as I ordered it. The frites were very thin shoestring style, but tasty. Service at the bar for me was excellent. Wine recommendations and tastes were welcome touches.

Enjoyed a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. The location wasn’t very busy, but the service was excellent. Ordered a fried egg sandwich with bacon on sourdough with a side of deviled eggs. The deviled eggs are Awesome. It’s an unusually menu option but delicious. The fried egg sandwich was good, but a little salty. Bread was toasted on the outside and soft on the inside.

Love this place!!! Absolutely a hidden gem. We have been there 3 times and each has been a treat. The food is unique while sticking to classic themes, and the flavors are spot on. The wine selection is impressive, and the staff is knowledgable and happy to help pair with your meal. There is also a great beer selection if wine isn’t tempting your palette. And as usual, I judge a place by how they react to the babe, and these people pass with flying colors. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Are you kidding me? $ 5 cocktails for happy hr? I’m in! What a steal. I had to order two old fashions which had a great balance of whiskey and bitter but the amount of water was a bit too much. I love the fact that they use Bulleit as their base. Next came their French 75 which wasn’t what I expected. This was more of a Collins or a gin & tonic with sweeter bite. I expected a raspberry of some sort with a pink-ish color. Regardless of the drink, it was pretty good and did enough to keep my buzz going lol Their appetizers were on point. We ordered bruschetta with fresh tomato and mozzarella on top with a generous amount of basil and sweet balsamic vinegar that had a thick syrup consistency. This was off the hook! Their ahi tuna tacos were amazing as well. This was basically a fried won ton chip with a small cube of ahi tuna and sweet balsamic vinegar. It was again, an amazing creation that was enough to fill my short appetite. This place is much different from the inside than what it looks from the outside. To be honest, it’s not appealing whatsoever until you step inside. The rustic Tuscany furniture with high tables for four, dim lighting, that vintage winery vibe, and that calm atmosphere. I’m so glad I got to come here and indulge in cheap cocktails and snack on two appetizers that complimented our drinks. My gf and I totally had a great time here. I’ll def be coming back!

Mike’s Wine Dive fits in well with the personality of the neighborhood: uniquely quirky with character and style. The sandwiches are original and filled with fresh ingredients and the main dishes are done well with excellent cuts of meat and seafood. Service is quick and friendly.
