Denny’s

First let me say that Denny’s is not a place I expect too much from. I mean, they don’t really specialize in any one specific thing, just diner food stuff, which isn’t bad, but also isn’t really ever my first choice. My friends and I were in town for a race event and our hotel was right next door, so we walked over to eat.
We were seated and drinks were ordered and delivered quickly. When it was my turn to order dinner, I asked about a specific dish, the Steak Skewer Skillet. I am Gluten Free and was wondering if the sauce {a Bourbon sauce} was the only thing about the dish that contained Gluten. The servers response was, «I don’t even know what Gluten is, so I don’t know.». Um, what? So she went to ask the kitchen staff. When she returned, she informed me that they had no idea what it was either.
How do you work in food service, in a restaurant that actually has GF options noted on the menu and NOT know what Gluten is, or what it means to be Gluten Free, or what a dish that YOU ARE PREPARING contains? I ordered my dish without sauce, and all was well, except that the food was, «meh» at best. The meat was dry. The veggies were good though.
The server never came back to refill drinks so we had to flag her down.
The manager or whoever it was who took our checks and money at checkout DID take 10% off of our meal because we waited about 40 minutes for our food in a mostly empty restaurant.
I would never ever return to this Denny’s. I will not recommend this Denny’s to anyone. The staff need to be educated on the restaurant and on the food they are serving.

Food was ok. but the cook was pissed off about something and kept slamming stuff down so loud that it made it impossible to relax and eat. I probably won’t be by this Denny’s again.

Good food. I had one of the extreme skillets and wasn’t disappointed. The staff was friendly and the place itself was pretty clean. My girlfriend had a club sandwich and fries. Overall it was a pleasant Denny’s experience. :)

Denny’s is definitely not on my list of go to’s when it’s dinner time, but being that it was the only thing open after 9 besides fast food Denny’s it was. I asked about the soup but they said they stopped serving at 10 so I pointed out that it was 9:30 and the waitress said they just didn’t make anymore because it had been a quiet night. I ordered the BBQ burger with onion rings. It was your basic burger, nothing special. I will always associate Denny’s with dining while drunk where everything taste amazing. Sober, not so much. But service was fine and drinks were refilled so no complaints there.

Bad, stay away! Everyone here is in training, the cook doesn’t know how to cook.
I should have stayed home and had left over pizza.
Think I’ll go home now and puke now.

Ok… this one was hard to judge. If you go in the morning, lunch or early evening, you will enjoy your meal… and the quality is great.
DO NOT GO LATE AT NIGHT!!! The staff are a bunch of morons and the food is subpar. I wonder if the Denny’s manager even knows what goes on here at night. As we pulled up, their entire staff was in the parking lot kicking back.

Place is nicely remodeled but the service is super slow and so is the food coming out. It’s only a Thursday morning after a breakfast rush. Won’t come back if I’m ever in a hurry

Poor service. Waited too long for waitress (Kim) to take our order. not happy. Will very likely eat somewhere else next time.

WORST DENNY’S EVER. I should have went to McDonald’s for fast food instead. The bathrooms reeked of weed. The food was cooked slow when there was no one else in the restaurant. My pancake puppies came out burnt. I ate them anyways because I was so hungry. When my food came out, I was greeted with a quesadilla that had barely any cheese in it. To add salt to wound, they used American sliced cheese it! How do you mess up something that is one of the easiest foods to make? My boyfriend’s chicken wrap was made with very hard tortilla.
The place I guess is under new (mediocre) management. There was only one server and one manager who was the cook. Never going there again.
Zero stars if that was possible. No actually. Just go out of business already. I’m sure it went under new management for a reason

When making road trips from Las Vegas to Phoenix or Tucson, I almost always stop in Wickenburg to stretch my legs, gas up my car and grab a bite to eat. If I am not in a hurry to get where I am going (which I admit, is rare), I’ll stop into this Denny’s for a sit-​down meal.
Since I head back to Arizona for the holidays often, I appreciate knowing that even on Christmas Eve at 11 pm, Denny’s will be open since they are open 24/​7, every day of the year.
There is a large selection of food to choose from, with breakfast being served all day. I have been pleasantly surprised to find somewhat healthy options on the menu.
Service has always been friendly and efficient. Food never takes very long. The bathrooms are clean. And there is a gas station directly across the street I can stop at before heading on my way.
This is an A-​OK place to stop for a meal when in Wickenburg.

Never go here late. Got into town wanted some food and if I only sat here for over a half hour before anyone came and even gave me a menu and talk about a shitty attitude. The crack head that took our order could have not gotten everything more wrong! Avoid this place at all costs!

A nice surprise in the middle of nowhere! The staff was very friendly and same (middle of the road) quality that you would expect from a Denny’s. If I am every starving after trekking across the Arizona desert again, I would return!

The service was OK considering how busy the place was. Food, well its edible when you need something to eat and your in the middle of nowhere. Just another Denny’s, nothing to write home about.

Service was decent and food was regular Denny’s fare. Nothing was spectacular but it was all good enough. I’d give them another try if I was ever in the area.

My boyfriend, myself, and his 3 year old foster sister met up with his mom, dad, and 2 year old foster sister. We were all heading up to Prescott this past Saturday (¹⁄₃₀) to play in the snow. When we got there, they were already set up with drinks & pancake balls (strange, yet greasy & delicious). They’d placed our orders as well since they texted us for them when we were still 15min or so behind them. The food was good. The service was just okay this time since I can’t remember if anyone ever came to give refills on anyone’s drinks. I know they came by and asked if everything was okay a few times, but that was it. Still, friendly staff. The bathrooms weren’t anything spectacular, but it’s a bathroom… at a Denny’s.
Anyways, we all left full and went on about our day.
