Palm Cleaners

Went at 6 p.m. today and Palm Cleaners is Out of Business. Or did they move? Well, hopefully they are under construction. Never had any problems.

I’ve been going here once a week for the past few months. I read a few negative reviews on here and was apprehensive at first, but I’m glad I started coming here. I get nomex uniforms cleaned here, the quality is good and the biggest thing to me is that they are ready when they say they will be ready.
The quality of their work is good. I’d say almost up to Lewis standards. But this is much closer to me and like I said, they haven’t failed me. They have a customer in me for sure and I definitely recommend this place to any fire/​law enforcement.
The prices are fair, it’s no 99¢ place, but if you want that go to riverside where cleaners are a dime a dozen. I’m cheap and I have no problem paying them what I do. I never asked for a discount, if they had them they’d probably offer it by now.
Bottom line, good local place to wash shirts and uniforms.

We have been visiting Palm Cleaners for over 4 years and never had a negative experience! Daniel is always there, he’s not the owner but he’s truly been a fantastic front side of their business. He knows and greets both my husband and father by name, and even brought water out for my dog when we came by with her once.
We have used their services for my husband’s regular dry cleaning, tailoring on all of my dress trousers (as I almost always need things to be taken up for my short height) and dry cleaning for some really special event dresses and my husbands ever so favorite silk shirts. The Tailor does work on call but we’ve never really had to wait longer and everything has always been completed to high standard. I highly recommend this business, I can only imagine negative reviews must just be from some very unhappy people or a substitute worker as I can’t ever fathom Daniel saying a rude word to anyone unless you’re really just nasty. So very sad.

Wish I didn’t have to even give this place a star. Reading the other reviews I am guessing it’s the same owner all these years. Daniel is his name. Rude and just a jerk. Long story short I was bringing in two pairs of pants to get hemmed for work. He said the tailor was not there but can be called and be there within 10 minutes. I said I was going to be next door at Staters for groceries but I would be right back
Asked for my number and said he would call when the tailor arrived. Not even 5 minutes later I get a call saying he was there. Let him know again. I was grocery shopping and I would be right over. Probably about 15 minutes later I am walking out of Staters and he calls me again. He said «oh I see u, nevermind «. I walked in and I asked why did you call again when I said I was coming right over? He said the tailor was on call. His attitude was awful. He said he didn’t need my business and to get out. The tailor was standing there and looked just amazed how this owner was speaking. I told him apparently he doesn’t need business this bad if you treat people this poorly and that word of mouth can truly do some damage. I had left my boyfriend and kids in Staters so I could run over there. I catch them in the parking lot and told them what happened. The tailor saw me and stopped me. Said this owner was crazy and gave me his card and to meet him at his store. Left and went straight there. Within an hour they were done. Daniel you are a terrible owner and a nasty human being. Reading these reviews below you see that is this something this «person «is known to be.

This is the best cleaners ever. I took in my satin dress that was stained about 4 years ago and they were able to take every single stain out. Although it’s a bit pricey, the quality of work is outstanding. Iv also taken in some of my favorite jeans to be altered and paid about $ 10 but the result was great. No complaints. I rather pay a bit more $$$ and be happy with the outcome.

Have used this cleaner consistently on a weekly basis for the last several years. They are the best. Courteous, professional and quality service. Daniel works the front and has it on lock.

After trying 3 different cleaners in the area, finally tried this one and now we use them regularly. Always friendly, everything is always ready on time and clean to our satisfaction. We’ve had simple repairs, rush cleans and chevrons put on as well with no issues. I thought the price they charged here was much more reasonable than the 30+ they charged for sewing at the last place we used. We have found them to be much more dependable and friendlier than the other cleaners in the area.

If there was an option of «NO STARS», I’d select it.
I just got home from picking up 3 shirts from them I had laundered. The service was so bad that I couldn’t wait to get to my computer to express how unprofessional the cashier/​manager/​worker was.
As I was paying, I asked how much for each shirt. Guy said $ 2.95. I said «Oh, OK. FYI… the cleaners across the street charges…» Then he stopped me before I can finish my sentence. He said «Everyone has their own opinions and I don’t really care about your money. I’m so busy here that I don’t need your business…»

I have had nothing but great service everytime at Palm. The owner is nice and friendly. Clothes look perfect everytime. Prices are a little high but the location is very convenient plus great service so the prices are worth paying.

Brought my Son’s Cub Scout shirt in and asked if they could sew a patch on to the pocket (a small Bobcat patch).
The guy tells me, Yes, for $ 6.
I say OK. Can I have it back later the same day? (It was morning time).
Guys says, No you can pick it up tomorrow afternoon.
I say OK. (At this point I’m thinking… The guy is kinda rude, kinda pricey to sew on a small patch and kinda slow. To sew on a patch takes two days? But OK.)
Then the guys says, Oh, and we will sew the patch all the way thru the pocket and the pocket will be sewn closed where the patch is attached. If you want us to sew the patch on the pocket without sewing the pocket closed, we will have to remove the pocket, sew the patch on and then sew the pocket back on. That will be more than $ 6.
Yeah, OK, Champ. I’ll just go ahead and take my business elsewhere. And any future alterations or dry cleaning needs I have will go elsewhere as well.
Hey friends and family… Skip this place.

Ok, I took my husbands military shirt here to put chevrons on and for both chevrons and shirt to pressed it was 15 $.

This Cleaners is the best. I took my daughter’s dress in to have a zipper replaced. They did the job in two days and the job was excellent.
They are always very nice and do a great job. The prices are reasonable and comparable.
I would highly recommend this place!

My first time here so I asked if they do a uniform discount the owners response was cops make 75 000 a year and shouldn’t even ask. Wow I responded, well that was rude and I won’t be bringing my business back. He said I don’t care. His behavior makes me fearful my uniform may get damagedif I returned. The owner is angry and hostile and not at all public service friendly. I would advise using somewhere else, I know I will!
