What more can you say other then it’s a boardwalk mall. With many little shops. Some that are still there from 10 years back. Like the hot sauce place. Get you’re Hot sauce and take the challenge. Even the sports shop in there is cool with all the favorite baseball, football and hockey teams. From hats, to shirts, mugs and other things. Even Can get the old time pictures done to.

Don’t expect to buy many«quality» things here, but it is fun to walk around and look at everything. Amazing gift shop on the top floor if you’re looking for something especially home décor :)

Hmm, must be another one of those over-hyped attractions… We were walking on the boardwalk, and then we came across this place. Hey, we were just enjoying the day, so why not? The outside of the building looked appealing with the bright colors(despite the visible aging) and the sign that lights up lively in the night. But the inside was quite a different story. With the exception of the third floor, the inside of the building appeared to be very dark and gloomy. The signs of aging on the walls and wooden poles were very evident. Some parts of the interior even had real cobwebs sticking out. There were some vacant spaces too. The overall unit consisted of three floors. The bottom unit was simply made up of the over-hyped pinball arcadium. The arcadium itself looked quite old and dusty. Even though I love pinball machines, I didn’t like the room that they were located in. The second floor consisted of little shops that sold cheap junk. Most of the junk was sold at exorbitant prices, while others not so much. But I don’t need any of that stuff. The third floor was simply made up of a souvenir shop that sold merchandise at exorbitant prices. That shop looked bright because of the window that revealed the sunshine and beach outside. But nothing appealed to me. I’m pretty sure the a/c feels good during a hot day in here. But we went on a day when it wasn’t hot, so we didn’t experience that part. Yeah, this place isn’t for me. Overall, I would just simply move on.

Boardwalk mall is the single most out-of-place thing on the boardwalk, but I love it as much now as did as a kid. Most of the stores here are really, really obscure, but the original old time photo is here as well as a very nice gift shop in the top floor. I miss the pizza place that used to be with the arcade — the tallaricos made really good, cheap pizza.

The Mall on the wildwood boardwalk sold me a FAKE mod/rda at authentic prices. I had it verified… the mod should have cost $ 50…they sold it to me for $ 100. The RDA should have been $ 15…they sold it to me for $ 120!!! Of course I would have never bought it had I known they were FAKES(clones)…and all the sales kid wanted to talk about is his shitty heart tattoos on his arm that he got at the convention that weekend. DONTSHOPHERE!!! I will also be contacting the BBB.

I agree with the above review regarding the Old Time photos. This location has real pros that make it fun and get the best results from a shoot. Not just manned by some teeny summer employees. It is owner operated and the only place I would go in WW for Old Time Photos.

The mildew smell in this place is ungodly; especially in the depths of the arcade, which would be otherwise cool for it’s retro pinball machines if not for the smell. Generally this place sells a lot of junk. Even the vape shop didn’t seem all that great. Two stars for the air conditioning.

Who remembers back in the day when you put a quarter in and you spelled your name and you got one of those silver blue or red coins out. They’re $ 2 now lol but still where else can you find them.

While it could be better in some ways, I’ve always enjoyed: –the arcade. I once spent a shit-ton of quarters on «The Simpsons» game from the 90’s. –the music merchandise shop. They’ve always had good prices on band tees and CD’s. –the jewelry/accessory store when you walk in. Found bunches of great necklaces in there. –the gift shop/accessory store on the top floor. Other great finds, plus tons of posters.

The Boardwalk Mall is so unassuming that a lot of tourists miss it. However it houses the BEST Old Time Photos in South Jersey. The staff are professionally trained and never take the same picture twice. They can accomidate almost any era: from the wild west saloon girl, to victorian vampires, to civil war heros and southern belles. Sitting for the photos is an enteraining experience. With photographers who make you comfortable and make you laugh. I’ve seen a lot of work from a lot of different Old Time Photo places, but this one is truly the BEST S. NJ has to offer.

you have to love the boardwalk mall. it’s an air conditioned oasis on the vast wildwood boardwalk, and it’s a place to buy bracelets and flip flops and trinkets… and hot sauce. it’s good for a few minutes of entertainment.

If there is anything on the Wildwood Boardwalk that screams«Tourist Trap», then the Boardwalk Mall must be it. It is a little hole-in-the-wall toward the south end of the Boardwalk which contains a small arcade, a restaurant, and a number of small shops. The shops include a candy shop, gift shop, beach jewelry store, sports clothing store, t-shirts and towels, olde timey photos, consumer electonics(overpriced, of course), custom caricatures, and shore keepsakes. The arcade is disheveled and has none of the newest games, but has a few classics tucked away and probably the easiest/loosest claw machines on the boardwalk. The restaurant is a greasy pizza joint with regular specials, but nothing really memorable about it. The best reason to walk thru the mall is the air conditioning and the shade, which the building has in abundance. It provides a much-needed bit of respite from the heat of the sun, without any requirement to buy anything. You can walk thru, windowshop, maybe drop a few quarters in the arcade, and emerge ready to face the day again. Definitely worth a drop-in anytime you are in Wildwood.

I miss the old days of the Boardwalk Mall with the mini golf and casino in the basement. Sure, there’s a few games left but nothing worth mentioning. Most of the stores have survived throughout the years but my taste has outgrown all but a few. Cheap jewelry and old time photos only do so much for a person. The poster/cd store is still worth visiting and there’s a nice little surf shop annex, but that’s about it… that is unless you’re looking for imitation designer sunglasses and puka shells on filament wire that will break once you get into the ocean.
