Our server was absolutely one of the nicest I have had in Wildwood and drinks there are pretty much average price(kind of on the lower side). I can’t say anything about food being I have never really ate there but our bar service, atmosphere and the band were pretty damn good tonight!

Slowest service in America. Place was busy, but not slammed. We came to have dinner and listen to the band play, but they were charging a cover, so we chose to sit in the inside bar area. Dinner took over an hour, and we had to get our own to go box

Nice big indoor bar with a stage and a great outdoor deck/bar area with a pretty decent view, but unfortunately, the nightlife experience fell short. It was Wildwood, so I didn’t expect much, but it was also 4th of July weekend, so I did expect at least an attempt. The cover band was pretty good. They only played til about midnight or so, but most of the crowd continued to hangout after they had left. While the posted hours were til 3 am, they gradually started shooing us out much earlier. We had to leave the upper deck around 1:30, and endured the stares of all their employees while we finished our drinks inside. And with a employee-customer ratio of 30 to 1, I didn’t feel like I’d be very successful in arguing their business hours. My friends and I had to resort to to illegally finishing our night with beers on the beach. Not really, but nobody likes to feel pressured into leaving early. It was a holiday weekend after all, and we would have been than happy to spend more money, had the atmosphere not felt like it did.

LOVE Westy’s! Always a good time there. Great bands! Friendly staff. Good food. Most recently I had the flatbread meat lovers pizza. The deck upstairs has a beautiful view of the waves rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean.

My aunt and I decided to stop here for dinner since my cousin and uncle had to go back to Philly for the day. When we arrived, we were told to sit wherever we wanted. My aunt(in my opinion) chose a perfect spot because our waiter(Kyle) was really good looking haha, he was also very attentive. Anyway, I decided I wanted to try something I have never had before so I ordered Bangers & Mash. It was delectable. There were onions with it and normally I can’t stand onions but they complimented the dish quite well. The mashed potatoes were in the middle of being creamy and thick which made them great. The sausage was quite tasty. I cannot say anything bad about my dinner. It was a little warm inside but it wasn’t crazy packed. There was no craziness that could distract someone from eating. My frozen margarita was perfect. I really enjoyed it.

Never been so grossed out… Sat at the bar enjoying the outside area until the 4 guys across the bar started to get loud and thought they were trying to pick up the 4 pretty girls next to us on our side, typical frat trash, loud, obnoxious and your mom would probably slap you. One was grabbing the fruit garnishes out of the bar container eating them or throwing them while the bar tender was at the other end of the bar(which who was so uninterested in us that it was 10mins to order a drink, asked for menus, and never got, mind you the bar was not crowded and he was walking in circles) Anyway back to fruit guy, as our food finally came which was frozen mussels from a box with a dough roll(which is not garlic bread), and frozen fish tacos with grill seasoning trying to make it grilled fish, the guy now had his shoe off, playing with it on the bar and fussing with his foot as he was now yelling at the girls next to us(which we now assumed they rented a house with for the season from what was being said) but he is now all up in his shoe and foot and just earlier was eating out of the garnish dish. This is why I hate when restaurants put a lemon in my water! Didn’t express to the staff cause by the looks of them I’m sure they didn’t give a rats ass since they didn’t care about the guests just getting there looking to have some drinks and dinner. Only one that seemed to care was the bus boy, when I said yes I’m finished these were awful, he came back 3 mins later to tell me the best place for mussels in believe it was Fliomena’s in Blackwood NJ? Thats great I’m hungry now and no where near that but he was kind! We tipped the waitress, for the food is not her fault and nothing for the bartender because if ya want a tip don’t give a$ 10 bill as change, give ones and fives and maybe you’ll get a tip. We moved on to the next bar… would write on that one but too tired.

i had a really bad experience at westy’s this past weekend but i am giving it three stars because i go here a lot in the summer and typically really have a fun time. on top of our food being terrible(the«westy» sandwich and chicken cheesesteak), the bartender was rude and the drink selection was lacking. again, i am giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoping that it wasn’t the most pleasant experience because it’s the middle of winter and it was a snowy, icy day. i’m sure i’ll be returning to westy’s as it’s a summer go-to, since it’s right on the beach, but probably just for drinks.

Nice enough Irish Pub in North Wildwood. It’s a year round local spot with pretty good food. I was meeting a friend at the bar for a few drinks. Well I sat for 10 min, it was not busy at all, the bartender just didn’t seem to care. A few guys playing Poole actually asked me if I wanted a sip of their drink. When the bartender finally… slowly came over to me he was rude, aloof and seemed bothered. He never said one«thank you, please, or how are you». I won’t go back if he’s behind the bar.

Bar only review. The prices are ok. The staff is ok. The ambiance is great. Overall, it’s something not to write home about.

The best bar in wildwood. Billy and Frankie are the greatest bartenders on the island. Come here and ask for them for a great time.

Too expensive. Don’t like the downstairs because it closterfobic. Deck is nice but chairs are made for super skinny people. I guess a nice view comes with a price.

Outside bar has a wonderful view of the ocean near the inlet in North Wildwood. Pulled up a chair, and waited about 10 minutes for a drink. Bartenders kept walking by but seemed disinterested. It didn’t get much better. Food orders are placed separately from the bar bill through the waitresses. This seems to be the norm in North Wildwood. Food was good for bar fare and reasonably priced.

Went with low expectations and was very pleasantly surprised. Restaurant week seafood special was very good…½ a lobster, 5 sea scallops, lump crab and 5 shrimp… all cooked perfectly in a nice sauce. Kids mac and cheese was awful… service was ok.

Nice little bar. Food isn’t price worthy. Maybe the irish just can’t cook. If you want to sit on the patio then it’s not a bad spot. Try the lamb burger… bahhhh!

OK, so hear is the story. I own a home about 6 blocks away. I have been to Westy’s about 10 to 12 times over the past 5 years. The last two times, prior to yesterday their food was not much so I have not been back. Now let me tell you about yesterday. I had the crab cake sandwich and on a scale of 1 to 10, it was about a 2. Over cooked on the outside and too moist inside. My wife had the roast beef platter and she said that it was fatty and the beef gravy was not much either. Looks like I should have gone back to Owen’s at 17th and Central again. Maybe some day I’ll learn.

Came down to Wildwood on St Patricks day weekend. Said to myself what better place to go for lunch then Westy’s. Since the parade just finished they were slammed. it’s no excuse for my waitress to lie to me. I asked for a pear flavored magners Irish cider. she brought me an original magners. I confronted her and she said oh they are out. problem was less then 5 minutes later I walked over to the bar and could see they had a whole cooler full of the pear. she couldn’t admit she made a mistake and correct it. instead it was easier for her to tell me a lie. I don’t care how busy you are own up to your mistakes! Sure fire way of not earning a tip. oh did I mention my chicken parm sandwich was the worst I ever had over cooked and dried out. always thought it was hard to screw up fried chicken.

Nice big deck. Lots of space for large groups. Entry if beer choices. Decent menu. Food was good but everything is low key. Served on plastic on the deck. Haven’t eaten inside, so can’t speak to service inside. Wheelchair accessible. With elevator. Plastic solo cups outside. Plastic silver ware drives me crazy when you’re eating real food. Waitress and bartenders were pleasant.

Until last weekend, I never wanted to go to Westy’s and avoided it like the plague. I met some friends for happy hour drinks at Keenan’s on July 4th, after one drink we decided to move on, since there were a million little kids running around the bar(weird.) We made our way down the street and spotted Westy’s 2nd floor deck at the end of the block. There was a lively cover band playing that sucked us right in! We noticed a sign that said«nobody under 21 after 5PM», perfect after our Keenan’s adventure. The band that was playing was BIGG Romeo. They were awesome. The crowd was diverse and the band really kept the party going during the early evening hours. The view of the inlet was wonderful from the deck. The drinks were kind of pricey; $ 4 drafts of BL, Dos Equis and a seasonal ale were cheapest options. Well liquor drinks were around the same price range and everything went up from there. I think bottles of a ‘better’ beer were $ 6(give me a break.) Sadly the music ended at 10PM and so did our stay at Westy’s. I would return to Westy’s deck for happy hour(mostly because of the bands) but the food I spied looked foul(so-so bar food.) The first floor of Westy’s is dark and drab; I wouldn’t recommend hanging down there either. The 2nd story deck is all that Westy’s has going for them.

When one of my girlfriends told me that her wedding reception was to take place at Westy’s, you could say I was a little skeptical. Although this was one shore bar I had yet to hit up(practically unimaginable!), I had read the reviews and wasn’t expecting much… until we arrived. The outdoor deck and adjoining indoor bar, both located on the second level, were completely decked-out in their wedding best. The bartender at the outside bar was moving rather slowly, but the two ladies at the indoor bar were ready and able to get the booze flowing. Local celeb Bob Kelly had guests shaking their booties on the dance floor before dinner was served. Passed hors d’oeuvres were not only plentiful, but delish. I loaded up on clams casino, which I declared to be somewhere between my grandmom’s recipe and Marc Vetri’s at Amis. Now that’s saying something. The dinner buffet was the only part of the evening that fell short. Empty chafing dishes were not replaced quickly enough, which kept the line from moving and forced people to select from two or three side dishes while the main courses were waiting to be replenished. The desserts looked nice although I didn’t taste any for myself. Westy’s proved to be a really nice venue for a wedding at the shore and is definitely worth checking out.
