Very good«Good Morning Breakfast» with Egg Beaters, turkey sausage, grits, fresh sliced tomato and fresh fruit. Manager stopped by to ask us how we enjoyed the meal. Service was professional and polite throughout.

Poor. Really Poor. If you can’t get the basics right then forget about it. 3 teas, all cold, no room in the cups for milk, and yet the water was cold to begin with, when we told the waitress she just said ’ its straight out of the water heater, it doesn’t come any hotter’

My husband likes this place a lot every time we pass by he has to go in. He especially likes the Rib Entrée for $ 9.99 with three sides. The décor and the fireplace add another warm touch. The staff is friendly and quick and the place is clean. The prices are so reasonable for the quality of the meal that when we go to another restaurant that is regularly priced he feels like we are getting ripped off

I recently just ate here twice, the food was good and a fair price. The staff was also very friendly, which made meal much more enjoyable. Sometimes service was a little slow though. The restaurant was also very clean, which is always important and a plus to have.

If you have never had breakfast at a Cracker Barrel you have no idea what you are missing! This is a southern style restaurant serving everything from Pork Chops to Catfish for breakfast, as well as your typical French toast and Pancakes. The storefront which sells lots of delicious candy and clothing from different eras are a plus. The fireplace and the family style eating make this place a wonderful family breakfast spot.

It’s Cracker Barrel not much to say about a chain, but I’ve never had a bad meal and the prices are always good!

At 7:15 on a Monday morning, I was the only person in here which was a little strange. Still, I had good service and my Uncle Hershel’s Breakfast was perfect. Eggs cooked as ordered, pork chop a good sized portion and the jam with my biscuits was blackberry rather than grape. Awesome. Paying my check at the register was easy and speedy. All around, a hair better than the usual CB experience and so I found it to be a five star visit.

Great prices good service and food just like every one that I have been too. I was very impressed that our large party of 22 was sat on a busy Sunday in under twenty minutes which was as promised. The server was great even taking a group picture for us.

It’s a damn shame when service is at an all time high but the kitchen fails to deliver. Our servers name was Brent, and for only being with the company 3 months he served our table like a seasoned veteran. Unfortunately, that was the only thing that was seasoned. We ordered the Country Boy and Double Meat breakfast plates and found them so bland that parts of the meal were inedible. While there was plenty of Salt, Pepper and butter on the table, the food was obviously untouched. Management did not apologize for the way the food came out, or offer anything towards a return visit. We probably won’t be back.

A very good place for breakfast or any other meal. One issue I have though is I tend to get sick right after I eat here. I actually think it may be a sensitivity to what they use to cook their food in. I have IBS so I can’t really blame them. Just keep that in mind if you have IBS or other food sensitivities.

It is a very good Cracker Barrel. Many selections. Large portions, attentive staff. They have a little store up front. Corn muffins and biscuits are included with your meal.

This place I highly recommend. I love the way this place is set up. There’s a little store while you wait for your table to be ready. There’s this cute little checker board to play on as well as many other cute nic nacks. Now this is my first time at a cracker and barrel, the people there are very nice. They smile and I feel like they want to work there. The waitress was fast and polite. We had 5 dishes and those came with side dishes that can fill anyone up. Two rib eyes, one cat fish, one buttermilk chicken, and sirloin. Everything was above average. This place was probably the best place in the area for this type of food. The wait time was very quick. Basically this store made me happy, cause they were polite and the manager approached us, he was so nice and caring. I’m just speechless at how good this place was. Normally I can critique how bad this place is, this waitress deserves a praise.

Among my top 5 fav’s this is at the top for me. Love many things about cracker barrel. The incredible history hung all over their walls and ceiling, the store with all the old school candy and many other things and absolutely most of all their authentic country style cooking. There are too many things to name on their menu that is worth buying.

I love visiting Cracker Barrel but love this location very much when we visit the area. Staff from the store to the servers are always friendly and helpful with a smile. The common areas of this restaurant and store is neat and clean. I just love the double meat breakfast as it will start your day right or end it, all day breakfast is another plus. Corn muffins and biscuits with your meal is another pro when you visit. Don’t forget the sweets at the end of your meal and to work off those extra calories, walk through their store to see what bargains to be had. Very difficult to control your sweet tooth as they have tons of candy from days gone by which brings back a lot of memories.

Food is good at every location I’ve ate at. However, the location by Walmart, is very slow! I had to wait 20 minutes just to talk to a server and get water.

Food was amazing but terribly unhealthy. Go in feeling hungry, leave feeling guilty and tired. I’m a proud Yankee but can’t resist Cracker Barrel’s brand of southern hospitality. Order a plate off the Fancy Fixin’s menu and the friendly waiters and waitresses will bring you more food than it’s safe to consume in one sitting.

Some friends and I were in the Poconos over July 4th weekend. One of our friends, who currently lives in PA, kept talking about Cracker Barrel, and how we should try it. So, on our last night, we decided to make the trek out for some Cracker Barrel. The drive from where we were staying wasn’t too bad, and there is plenty of parking space(reminds me of Rochester!). I had no idea what Cracker Barrel was, other than a Southern style comfort food restaurant. They have a bunch of rocking chairs you can sit on(or purchase!) while you wait for your table to be ready, in addition to having a few checkers tables. Inside, you are first in a gift shop of sorts before you proceed to the restaurant. The restaurant seemed like it had plenty of seating, and my party of 8 was seated with about a 20 minute wait during prime dinner time. The service was top notch. The waitress kept coming over to make sure that everything was OK, that we were satisfied, etc. Even with a packed restaurant, she made sure to stop by to check up on us. The food was also pretty good. Most of the menu is Southern style, and they have a bunch of combination offers(get an entrée, and two sides, for example). I went for the Pepper Sirloin on their«healthier» menu, while my friends opted for other meats(rib eye, ribs, etc). Overall, the general consensus was that the food was pretty good, especially for a chain restaurant. Definitely exceeded my expectations, as I wasn’t even sure what to expect. Another plus is the pricing, as the food is decently priced(my steak was about $ 11 – 12). If only they had locations in the NYC area!

If you get a chance. Sit by the fire. We got there for breakfast on a morning when it wasn’t packed. WOW, you wont go hungry here. We got the table in front of the fire. Best seats in the house. Waitress was on the ball and very helpful.

Cracker Barrel has decent comfort food, and they serve it very fast, which is great if you’re in a hurry. The service here is usually pretty good, and we had a fantastic waiter the last time we went. I don’t like that certain menu items are only available on certain days. I love the Homestyle Fried Chicken, but you can only get it on Sundays. I also like chicken pot pie, but they only have it for lunch on one weekday. Went there once for lunch during the week to specifically have that, and they were out. :P One thing I can’t understand, given the nature of the restaurant. they have the worst cornbread muffins I’ve ever had. They are dry and tasteless. The biscuits are good though.

All you need at Cracker Barrel is a $ 20 and an empty stomach. You’ll leave with $ 5 and the urge to never eat again!(Or until the next morning.) Service is always attentive and prompt and I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ll certainly keep coming back.

I am not sure we would return if we had to. We were told at the front desk they had turkey noodle soup, just what we needed for our colds. When we were seated, it came to light they ran out of it and now had vegetable, but it was in tomato base. Having an ulcer means no tomato dishes. When I returned the soup, the waitress’s attitude went from bad to much worse. We felt like we were imposing on her. Asking for anything else after that almost useless. The store does have some great old style candy, but I believe I can order those on line without the attitude. Such a shame.(The food was basic, nothing special in any way.)
