Well this is my first Unilocal review, so I’ll be nice. This trip to Denny’s was pretty good. I got the double cheese burger without specifying how I wanted it cooked but they brought it to me medium well and that’s why it wasn’t five stars. I usually like to lean toward medium for my burgers. Daimyun was a fantastic server and a good sport when I asked him if they had any«unshaven ham.»

Attention anyone that goes to Denny’s in Wilkes Barre our Beloved Ish(Awesome) was let go because his mom was in the hospital in ICU this was a heartless act to a dedicated employee that everyone loved and respected. Many of my bands, friends and family go there instead of Perkins because of his 5 star service and his ability to turn eating a Denny’s a wonderful pleasant experience. Please take a moment and send a compliant to the main headquarters website and request his reinstatement. I ask you please join me in this to get him back there. I personally and my friends will not go back until he is back. I guess we will be having our meetings at Perkins till further notice. Please like and leave a comment about an experience you have had with him at Denny’s so we can forward it to them to show them what a colossal mistake they have made. Thank You for your help!

Keeps getting worse! My friends and I get out of work late, and there are only so many places still open. We have had the okay meals before, & okay service… but tonite was the worst! We all ordered TBone steaks, all medium rare. one was cooked correctly, one was medium, & mine was so done I couldn’t eat it… told the waitress. She said she would have them make me a new one. Took 10 min., till it got put in the window for pick up, under these heat lamps… which I watched the clock and it sat 7 more min., in which that steak is cooking more setting under those heaters! The waitress never came back in those 17 min to check on anyone else, refill coffee or nothing! By the time she came back again! With steak, it was drying out and cooking itself! Ugh! She got the manager! I was about to walk out! I told her well, I am thirsty! And 2 steaks were not prepared the way I ordered. I told how long I watched that steak sit under that heat lamp, and how you can’t leave a medium rare steak under those heat lamps for 7 min. She said she understood and would take it off the bill! SHE brought me a coffee… And the waitress didn’t bring our bill for another 20 min! I have worked in different restaurants… you either need more servers, or cross train someone to run food. However, that waitress wasn’t with it… at least, tonight wasn’t her night. If you are having customers food set that long… something needs to change. I know how it is, I felt bad for her, but I am paying for something I want it right.

Denny’s is a disaster. The worst place on Earth. Can I give this restaurant zero stars? How about negative stars? Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Denny’s food is always inedible. If you find yourself starting your day at Denny’s: immediately stop ordering! Turn around and go home. Your day is off to a terrible start. Go back to sleep and try again tomorrow — there will be another chance to pick a better and more appropriate spot for breakfast. If you find yourself ending your night at Denny’s: I’m sorry but you must have made some terrible life choices along the way. I don’t expect culinary masterpieces when I order from Denny’s. My order usually consists of simple comfort food. It takes a supreme lack of talent to mess up chicken fingers, fries, and a vanilla milkshake. One time I went to Denny’s for a friend’s birthday party. Who would have a birthday party at Denny’s? That’s beside the point. We were shown to a booth and the waitress set the table by flinging our silverware at us, seemingly aiming the utensils at my chest. I was struck by a butter knife that hit only a few inches from my heart — if my waitress was wielding a steak knife I would probably be dead right now.

This is the lowest rating that it will allow me to give. Service was the worst of seen. My wife ordered blueberry pancakes: one pancake had 4 distinct blueberries and the other only one. What she asked the waitress she said they use a level spoon and then walked away. Had to flag the hostess staff to get things as the waitress was no where to be found. Food quality was the lowest I have ever had at a Denny’s. No manager was to be seen. Definitely will never visit this location again.

Kinda dirty. Food is what is to be expected of a Dennys. Had to flag my waitress down to get the bill, in her defense, she was busy. I would go to a mom and pop diner instead if I had the option. Coffee was terrible! No amount of milk or sugar couldve saved the coffee and it was 2.50 for 8oz. Skip it and go to a diner. Your stomach will thank you.

A great place for late night grub. It’s diner food by whole. So not really for calorie counting. The staff is quite friendly and the people watching is great fun late night.

I wouldn’t even give it one star! My husband got food poison!!! My six yr old was so sick and my cat ate my husbands left over food and died! No BS we rushed poor baby kitty to the animal er where she passed! I’m seeking legal representation and have them pay for what was supposed to be a enjoyable birthday!

The waitresses are friendly and are good at what they do. They are quick to make conversation and willing to chit-chat for a little bit if it’s not too busy. The food is enjoyable as well and my family and I, who have gone to this Denny’s dozens of times, rarely have any problems with it. Drinks aren’t watered down either, Which is a plus imo cause most restaurants have watered down drinks. My only complaint is that there is the(rare but occasional) rudeness and rush when ordering. Aside from that, It’s a nice restaurant, Don’t see how people can bash it.

Let me first just say that in the years of the past this location USED to be of value. Service was great and I got to know a few of the waitresses and would only go when they were working. they were kind and genuine and the food was always right!!! Recently though I have received the most COMPLACENT service and the worst food imaginable also they have the most annoying over the top waitresses with too much attitude for my liking. My mother tells me its all convicted felons making the food. fresh out of jail. I believe it too. the biggest rip off $ 10.58 for a glass of OJ& 4 big semi partially toasted pieces of bread.2 cold pieces of bacon n sausage and hashbrowns that took up 1⁄16th of the plate. and eggs that came 10 minutes later. along with an obviously racist waiter… no thanks I’ll save my money.

A good family restaurant. I have been going here for years. Very consistent. Not the greatest but certainly not the worst. They have been expanding the menu lately, a big plus in my book. Check it out, you won’t be sorry.

Let me say that our waitress was fine. If she’d had us to breakfast at her house, I’m sure it would have been lovely. This restaurant’s been here for as long as I can remember(30+ years), and I can’t imagine why. I think every surface we touched was greasy. The coffee tasted terrible. I left hungry. My 2-yr-old — who loves pancakes — wouldn’t touch hers. I can’t recollect why we didn’t go to McDonald’s.
