Best place and cheapest by far to buy all kinds of Deli meats and other things such as vegetables, fruits etc. Check it out.

This ice cream stand(walk up window) was recommended to us by a friend who has lived in the area for years. The ice cream is wonderful and the prices can’t be beat(much cheaper than similar stands in the area). There’s some parking and seating. It’s always crowded, but we’ve never not been able to find a parking spot or a table(one or two tables in the sun, 8 or 10 under a roof). The portions are generous, and they offer a great selection — including weekly specials on flavors(caramel/peanut butter twist was a recent favorite of mine). The stand is attached to an old-fashioned grocery(to which I think the previous reviewer is referring when he criticizes its being«dirty, smelly»); I’ve never had complaints about the cleanliness of the ice cream stand area.

The place is dirty, smelly and cheap — cheap, not in a good way.

the prices are great, ice cream is cheap, but leaving the side door open all the time lets all the flies in and it is hotter than heck in there.

Just an update, we tried the ice cream at the end of the summer, and it is great! The prices are incredible, and the portions are outrageous(in a good way)! They also sell wine making supplies now, and they sell beautiful fresh Christmas trees for only $ 25.00. This place is a hidden gem in Wilkes-Barre. Support the little guy, and give this place a visit, you won’t regret it!
