My local Walmart is far worse than this because it has no competition, but during my latest experience here I saw two different stores compared to other visits. To start, the entrance and exit of the complex is a mess. They badly needed to have two fully signaled entrance and exists. First, this store is not open 24 hours, for understandable reasons. When you come here on a well-lit Sunday afternoon, it’s a family store full of people shopping, and a tolerable experience. Come here during a weeknight in the evening after it’s turned dark? Skip it unless you have a group. The demographics for this store change significantly and it feels much less safe, and this also includes the employees who work during those times. The store layout is slightly different than other Walmart Supercenters, as it feels slightly smaller and more crowded in some ways. Stock can also vary, but that’s with every Walmart as they chronically understock. Is the whole area bad? No, it’s a nicely built up shopping area. Walmart has the problems Wyoming Valley Mall had before it’s renovation in 2007, the wrong demographic. More lighting and security are needed or you can also just go to Target instead.

Let’s be realistic; I don’t have very high expectations when I go to Walmart. But this store in particular is exceptionally bad. Long, slow lines, rude staff, incompetent management, dirty and disorganized. I’d rather drive an extra 20 miles or pay more at a different retailer than deal with shopping here anymore; it’s just too infuriating.

It’s a Wal-Mart like any other. Are there better shopping experiences? Yes. Are there worse? Probably maybe. Stopping in on a weeknight after the dinner hour, I needed four things. I found them without difficulty. The jeans were a bit of a mess, but they had the color and cut that I wanted in the size that I wanted. The other items were easy to locate even if those shelves could also use a good leveling. There was a line of two or three customers each at a couple of the registers, but the self-checkout had no queue and I was able to walk right up. Is it A-OK? Well, I’ve experienced better.

So gross. Violent area. Terrible management. DON’T EVERSHOPHERE!!! Do whatever you can to avoid it. The workers in the car department had to ask Siri how to fix my car. I COULDHAVEDONETHATMYSELFYOUFATDUMBSLOBS Also, I used to come shop here at night because there were less people and less stress. They started closing at midnight! No more 2 am Walmart trips. What a dump.

I will never shop there again. Management needs to train staff better and hire a police officer to keep out shoppers that are either high or causing problems. AVOIDATALLCOST if you value your life

28 registers, 6 open. What a joke. More than 20 minutes waiting in line to check out. Terrible customer service #Walmart, you should be ashamed.

There’s nothing super about this supercenter. Lots of products are out-of-stock. Even though there are over 20 checkout lanes only five or so are open at any given time. Prepare to wait in long lines. Lots of angry, strung-out, high strung, poorly educated, poorly dressed people patronage this particular location. At night Walmart seems to be a popular hangout for the juvenile delinquent crowd.

This store is just nasty. The workers are rude and miserable. The cosmetic section is disgusting with products opened and smeared around. I only go to this store if I have to. I much prefer Wegmans and Target.

Can’t you give negative stars to a place? How does a super center of the world’s largest retailer«run out of money» when every register is open and doing a booming Friday evening business? I mean, yes it’s Wal-Mart so it’s generally terrible, but this one is ridiculous.

I avoid it if I can! Long, long, lines, and poor worker compensation.

If I could give less than one star I would. all the things the others are saying… long wait in line… shelves disheveled… 3 cashiers with over 20 check outs… it’s all true. There are around 8 self check out lanes that remain closed almost every time I have stopped in. The employees know nothing about any of the products, where anything is located, if they sell anything specific. The quality of the customer that this particular Wal-mart attracts is deplorable. If you are in town and need something, toiletries, food, sporting goods, or anything else. Find another store! Trust me, if you walk in, you’ll want to hang yourself after you finally get out.

I like Wal Mart but this one is a zoo. Lots of very ignorant people shop here. The check out lines take forever also. Be wise and go to the Pittston one instead.

Words cannot explain my hatred of this place. It doesn’t matter what time of day you go, you are going to wait in line. They have like 20 cash registers and only put on 3 cashiers. I feel terrible for the cashiers who obviously Wal-Mart is too cheap to put on a couple more for when it’s busy. The store is like a sideshow and everything they sell is junk.

I dread going to our Wal-Mart. The parking lot is horrendously designed. The store is large and generally has a lot of product on the shelves, but my biggest qualm about this Wal-Mart is that there is hardly anyone ever on the registers. Often you see maybe 10 out of over 40 registers open and the lines are often nearly a dozen people deep. You will average at least a good 10 – 15 minuets waiting in line.
