A-Ma-Zing. On every level. The food was so fresh a made to perfection(scallops, tenderloin, and salmon) and the service was incredibly personal. We had reservations and they still didn’t have a table 15 minutes after our reservation so they seated us at the bar and treated us like royalty. We were so happy with the entire experience. Thank you Neil for opening this great restaurant in Williamsburg!!!

After trying all the French restaurants in Williamsburg, I was excited to try a new«French» restaurant, Cochon. The evening started off very promising. Ordered two appetizers, Thai ribs and ahi tuna. Both excellent dishes with great flavor. Our waitress was nice but definitely not up to par working at a fine dining establishment. In fact most

First time visiting, met another couple for dinner. Service was great. Wine list was great. Food. Amazing. Everyone ordered something different! I had the pork chop, hubby had the tenderloin, another had Salmon and another had chicken. Perfect size portions. The blue cheese potatoes were amazing. We will be back. Lunch menu looked like it would be worth checking out too!

Our dining-out group of over 20 people ate here last evening, while another group of ten plus some regular customers were served as well. Our group agreed this was one of the best experiences we have had in our several years of dining in virtually all of the major restaurants in and around Williamsburg. My table was served by Kevin Irish, and he was extremely knowledgable and attentive. The staff managed the very difficult feat of serving everyone’s dinner simultaneously. The corn chowder soup was delicious. I had the grilled pork chop, and if I’ve ever had a better one I cannot remember where or when. Others at my table had the chicken, mussels and salmon special, and all of us were extremely pleased. Desserts were equally satisfying; the banana crème bread pudding I had was wonderful. The ambience, which includes recycled timbers from the owner-Chef’s family’s 1914 pig barn, is warm and pleasing. Give this new place a try. I think you’ll be very pleased you did.

I really like this restaurant. It is a small/cozy place and the décor is great. We’ve been twice. The first time we went, we didn’t have a reservation so we sat at the very cool bar. The bartender was friendly and makes good drinks. Now they have a special bar menu that I want to go back and try. The menu is concise and I have noticed that some people dislike that. A big menu in a small restaurant is a good indication that the food is kept frozen and is not being prepped on site. I had the pork chop which was cooked to a perfect medium. It came with a really good potato gratin. The arugula salad was fresh with house made vinaigrette. The chocolate terrine was a bit grainy but still pretty good. Our server, Jessica, was fantastic. She was both friendly and professional. The best thing I can say about this place is you can tell the food is made with love and it gets better each time we go.
