The frozen custard is not frozen custard, its just soft serve ice cream. Other than that, it’s not bad.

A VA Staple… any time we’re in town Rita’s is on the list. The mango gelati is delicioso and the custard is thick and creamy just like it should be. Definitely a must-​go in Williamsburg!

This place is awesome, definitely come here!!! I got the Swedish Fish Italian ice which actually tastes like Swedish Fish. It was soooo good. The rest of my family got a Blendini, cotton candy Italian ice, tropical Italian ice, and mango Italian ice with vanilla custard. They all looked soooo good. I would recommend coming here on a warm day to day to get a cold treat

Yum! Thank you Rita’s. I love the lemon with the custard. :) so many flavors to choose from though. Thank you for such a large selection of ices. The kids love it!

After dinner at Nawab in the same strip mall (also a 5-​star), we wanted to try Rita’s for dessert. We had no idea what these were needing to ask the person at the counter how and what to order. We were told the Gelati is their most popular. It is a layering of their custard which is a like a thicker soft-​serve ice cream, with whatever italian ice flavor we choose. The 3 of us ordered the mango ice with vanilla custard, kiwi-​strawberry with vanilla, and mint-​chocolate with chocolate. I’d say the favorite was mango but all were really good. Hit the spot on a hot day. Well worth a try, you’ll probably like it.

Our favorite place to stop in and get a cold treat! My personal fave is the mango gelati … great service. If they could get another big umbrells it would be lovely but it’s still a wonderful place without it.

Italian ices, fat free, cholesterol free, trans-​fat free… mmmm! They’ve got soft serve ice cream, gelati, Misto shakes, frozen custard, blendini,… i think that’s all, though. SUPER friendly service, annoying music but you can tune it out, parking is unlimited, and they have a lot of special interest events, like swing dancing and occasional live bands. They’re very charitable and warm which makes me love them even more. I don’t need to mention that it’s delicious, do i? Well, it is.
