Stopped here, since it got four stars on Unilocal… however it is not worth it at all! Only mediocre Mexican food found here. The prices, however, make it worth a stop if you are super hungry. The prices beat Popeyes and Bojangles for lunch. The music is nice, though.

Marginal. As the others have said the Salsa and chips are good. The main dishes were ok. The downside was the smell. They had a problem with the sewage in the bathrooms and there was an odd oder throughout the restaurant. Additionally, the bathrooms were marginal. Probably won’t return.

The food is just decent. I ordered the Vegetarian A, which includes a bean tostada, a bean burrito, and a cheese enchilada. The beans were very bland and could have used some salt and other seasonings, meaning the burrito was lacking. However, their queso(cheese dip) and sangria are quite good. But an appetizer and a drink can’t save a dinner, good though they were. If you’re looking for Mexican food, it’s worth stopping in, though. The menu has many selections and my husband enjoyed his special plate.

OMG! As I sat here with my friend we were served chips and salsa. One way to tell if a Mexican restaurant food will be good is to try the salsa. This will be added to my top list. I wasn’t that hungry so I just ordered one soft chicken taco and added sour cream. Along with ordering two margarita’s, If I ever come back to Williamston I will definitely stop back here.

Yummy food! Great little surprise on a January afternoon drive from Emerald Isle up to VA Beach. Took a chance based on Unilocal recommendations! We were not disappointed one bit. Chips and Salsa were yummy and our tacos and Burritos made the cut too! My husband, who insists he is a salsa connoisseur swears theirs ranks among one of his favorites. Stop in… You will not be disappointed.

One year later… and my hunch about switching from chicken to the 2 potato enchiladas was dead on. Still an acceptable lunch stop when traveling to or from the shore.

This is the most amazing Restaurante De Mexicano I’ve ever visited. If I lived in Williamston I would be fat. Enough said.

we stopped here simply in order to fill our bellies and to find a tv that would tell us what earl was doing and how far we had to flee. they showed us into the ‘bar’ that had a huge tv turned off. the server handed me the remote and sat us. it took me a while to find an english speaking news channel but we had some very yummy, fresh and crispy chips, salsa and quac while we waited(2.99 for the quac). as mexican doesn’t really do the vegatarian thing too well we all suspended stuff for the time due to ‘inclement weather’ and i had the most delicious steak quesadilla de blanco i have ever even dreamed of having. kenz and mai both liked their meals as well and the whole bill came to 34 $. i would make this a part of my trip in the future if at all possible. yum!
