Once you see the place the source of the name is apparent, as it has taken over a cozy A-frame building. Inside, in addition to a coffee pot, a display case offers cupcakes, cookies and other sweets. The baker is friendly, and the two crumb cakes we tried by the slice were both fresh and moist(and buttery, which we consider a good thing!). There is no space to eat within, but baking is evident in the rear and there is plenty of parking out front

This is the cutest little bakery with good cookies. We were nicely helped by an adorable, well versed 9 – 10 year old who made this experience delightful. I wish some other customer service people could get a video of her to see how its done. I would buy anything this place is selling. Thank you!

Sharon runs a lovely family bakery in this A frame on Rt 7. Lots of varieties of fruit coffee cakes. Also cookies, brownies, cupcakes, scones and biscotti. Wonderful real butter cream frosting! My favorite are the peach blueberry fruit purses. It’s a small bakery so she doesn’t have everything at all times, but if you call the day before she can make whatever you want or just put a scone aside for you. Two caveats: no seating inside and they don’t take credit cards.

Went here with my girlfriend when we were visiting family in the Berkshires. The cookies and cupcakes were wonderful! The frosting was delicious buttercream, none of that gross fake stuff you get at other bakeries. Great prices, and every thing was freshly baked. We bought home a blueberry crumb cake to share with my family, which went over very well. :) The owner was super friendly and nice. Definitely stop by if you get a chance.

Stunningly good baked items made fresh every day. The muffins are the best ever. The biscotti come in several flavors and are divine. Plus the owner’s adorable and polite kids are your cashiers. Only wish they were open more days a week! An amazing treasure.

I stopped in last week with my business partner for a snack break between jobs. We were greeted by the friendly proprietor and a case full of baked goodies including pastries, cookies, and cupcakes. I had a fruit purse and it was absolutely delicious! the pastry was flaky and it was filled with fresh peaches and blueberries, two of my favorites! My business partner ordered the same thing and he really enjoyed his too. I’m sure we will be stopping there again!

Am I lucky! I work with Richard, the husband of incredible owner and baker — Sharon, and our whole office reaps the benefits! FRESH muffins. full of big pieces of apples. or crammed with fresh blueberries, bananas and nuts, crumb topping… not all at the same time of course! Her cakes, cookies, and tarts are incredible. For our office monthly birthday celebrations, she aways sends a cake. today we had a moist chocolate cake, with a wonderful raspberry filling, a light raspberry butter cream frosting with fresh raspberry garnish. Gone in a flash! Everything we have had is fresh out of the oven, only natural ingredients… and better then home made. I always bring something home to my husband, who I think is her biggest fan. Worth a ride to Williamstown one of these days. I rarely give 5 stars, but would give more if I could!

I just want to echo the plaudits by previous reviewers: we yesterday bought a peach pie and it was simply delicious. We had called earlier to make certain they would not be sold out and the lady sweetly said she would hold a pie for us. Simply fabulous.

I’m not sure why everyone is such a big fan. Maybe because it’s the only bakery in town. But this place is awful and unprepared for visitors. We made an appointment for noon-12:30. We showed up, our cupcakes were not ready, and took an additional 15 minutes to whip up «frosting.» Which, less face it, whipped butter is not frosting. No taste, nothing. The cupcakes were crunchy and seemed more like muffins. Decorating was also sub-par. Not worth $ 3 and we will definitely be finding a new place for wedding cake/cupcakes.

I stopped by here on a Sunday morning and had a chocolate chip cookie and a slice of apple cake, both not long out of the oven, both sublimely delicious. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular. (But be warned: it’s cash or check only, which meant I had to pay my sub-$ 5 bill with a check. Whoops. The girl at the counter was very sweet about it, though.)
