Tasty of China is listed as a seafood market? HA! Besides the fact that the idea of ToC as a seafood market is laughable it’s also gross. Tasty showed up on the scene about 5 or 6 years ago. It was a huge joke to all of us for several reasons. First is clearly the name. Come on, it’s funny! Two, it’s located next to a veterinarian(we’ve all heard those jokes). And lastly, it’s located in front of what most people would consider the bad part of town. Growing up, I hated Chinese food, so I would never even think about getting food from a place called«Tasty of China». But then, one dark day, I began working at a crappy clothing store a mile down the road, for a very long time. There wasn’t much to do at nights(there’s not much around) so we ended up ordering a lot of takeout, and I ended up ordering a lot of Tasty of China. It’s not the worst food I’ve ever had, and it’s certainly not the best. But it’s not the worst, and I think that’s more important. The family that runs the place was always very nice. I wouldn’t suggest eating here regularly(unless you get a low paying job at Gallo) but if you do happen to wander in, stick to the lo mein and noodle soups. P. S. Unilocal,I think you should make an option that is «dirt cheap». Because, sometimes, cheap just isn’t descriptive enough.
