Had a few bad experiences. The pancakes are awesome! ! Don’t get me wrong they are the best! ! But everything else is pretty bad. The biscuits and gravy awful. The gravy has no flavor, and the biscuit was hard. The grits are are waterie. The ham had more fat than meat. The sausages are tiny. Bacon wasn’t bad. Coffee was awful every time. They raised prices an the quality went down. Every time I’m there I’m being rushed. But the pancakes are still on Point!! sweet tea is good to. But the milk is crazy over priced! !

I seriously love Cracker Barrel! There isn’t one close to where I live so whenever I’m around one I always take the opportunity to stop in. Came here for dinner one night after my husband got out of work late. Our waiter was Charlie and he was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, and my husband got the fried chicken fingers. Everything was delicious, and prepared quickly. Will return before we head home from our business trip!

Henrietta Ny not Buffalo. Service D — had to ask another busser to send our waitress over after 10 minutes of not seeing her. Tried to get another waitresses attention and was ignored. The biscuits which are always brought out before the meal were brought out halfway through it. And they now only provide them with certain meals not for everyone at the table like they used to. Food D – sweet potato overdone Steak fries very limp and cold in the middle Chicken and dumplings were very good Had to flag down a manger to let him know. He was like oh sorry maybe better next time. This was of course my experience there your miliage may very.

Came with some friends to grab a bite to eat the afternoon of Thanksgiving since they were one of the few places that were actually open. As expected, the place was jammed packed, however we only waited 20 minutes for a table for 4. It as bearable because the waiting area is like a general store with different types of toys, candies, etc to play with /purchase while you wait to be seated. After we were seated, we were quickly greeted and our orders were taken. While we were deciding, we came to realize how great of a deal the thanksgiving dinner special was, however none of us were in the mood for it because we had plans for turkey later in the evening. Their menu consists of typical American foods like roast beef, meat loaf, fried/roasted cat fish, fried chicken, etc etc with the typical sides like mac n cheese, fried okra, corn, green beans, etc etc. and the plates come with two breads(2 biscuits, 2 corn breads or one of each). All in all, it was a pretty satisfying meal and didn’t break the wallet. Their soda /sweet tea drinks are on the pricier side, around $ 2.50 for a fountain drink whereas a dish with two sides was like $ 8. Will definitely come back if in the mood.

This isnt my favorite location. I came here for dinner once and ordered the baked chicken. The chicken came out a bit under cooked and when I asked if I could have another piece that was more cooked, the answer I got was that all the chicken was cooked the same way, and the only option I had was for them to put it in the microwave. I declined. However, other food that I’ve had here was very tasty.

This is my first Unilocal review, at this point I have only made the account because the food was so disappointing There is no way to say enough the food was bland. Nothing that I or my companions had involved any flavor. From the special of the day chicken fried chicken which was dry even when drenched in sausage gravy which only tasted like flour and liquid smoke. The cake that was equally bland, or the beef whose only small amount flavor came from the gravy that covered it and none from the meat itself. We are not sure anything was seasoned and the most interesting thing about the food was the textures. No one should eat there unless your in the twilight years of your life and your taste-buds no longer function. The only small saving grace was the biscuits are good. Not the corn muffins that didn’t even taste like corn, but the biscuits

This is change Restsurant. They usually find them off a Thursday exist. Most there food little Southern and Comfort food. I love there Chicken and Dumping. They give two choices for your sides. There is alots to choose for your side dishes. There no reservation. If you got large group they find you table fits all of you. The best part is there country store. Got the old fashion candies. You name it they got it.

Food was good, services was OK, price was reasonable. Middle of the line straight across. I little bit of a wait, and they don’t do reservations or call ahead seating.

The menu selection is small if you do not eat red meat or fried foods. Even though there was a wait they turned over tables extremely fast(without rushing). The bbq chicken chutney was very tasty and juicy. The chutney was delicious. The cheese grits were ok. The Mac and cheese was good. The catfish was very good. The sides were fulfilling. Refills were timely. Food was served promptly. Prices were reasonable. Portions were large.

Cracker Barrel always seems to offer some solid food with huge portions! My bf and I stopped by at this location before hopping on a flight back home. It was great because as soon as we arrived we were promptly seated. I ended up getting the freshly squeezed orange juice with the fresh start sampler(blueberry muffin, yogurt parfait, eggs and sausage). My bf got the momma’s pancake breakfast(blueberry pancakes, blueberry syrup, eggs and sausage). It ended up being a ton of food and for a super reasonable price, and everything tasted great. My personal favorite was the blueberry pancake. It was really light and fluffy and was delicious with the blueberry syrup. The server was amicable enough although she did appear to be an amateur. There weren’t a ton of people around, but she seemed to be having a tough time waiting on all of the tables. We even saw a lady leave while giving the server the ‘side-eye’ because she apparently messed something up with the lady’s order. It worked out in our favor in the end as we got an extra serving of sausage because she accidentally put in a double order. Overall, the meal was cheap and we left the place feeling pretty stuffed. If you’re looking for some good old traditional breakfast, this is definitely your joint!

I always enjoy this place. The employees are smiling, welcoming, and hospitable. I eat here often and enjoy it every time. This time I had the chicken fried chicken and it lived up to its previous expectations. Tender juicy chicken, delicious sweet potato fries, fresh steamed broccoli etc. Definitely a place to experience!

Oh yeah … mmm. BBQ ribs, turnip greens with pork … silky smooth grits and a nice iced tea or lemonade. Excellent table service. Quality staff. Store was amazing! Could have spent trillions in there. Love it. When you go, you MUST have the sweet potato fries … Mmmmm, quality. No and’s, if’s, but’s or maybe’s.

If you love nostalgic toys and candy, or playing a game of checkers with your pals, this is the place to check out! Oh wait, that’s just the gift shop, outside patio and tables for two! The menu is full of options, big and small. Always a decent meal and a great place to enjoy a meal with some long lost friends or family!

When Cracker Barrel first came to Buffalo, we were excited about being able to get southern food without having to travel. Want to go on a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon? Better be ready for a long wait in the gift shop. We had several in the area. After a while, the excitement wore off, and a few locations nearbly closed. This one stayed open and still does a decent business. Is it worth coming to? Certainly, depending on what you are in the mood for. The old standbys like country fried steak, chicken & dumplings, and ham dinners, along with the vegetables, are always reliable and good. Best of all are the biscuits, but they need to be warm. Come at a slow time, and you might end up biscuits that have sat for a while. But you can always ask for fresher ones. I might stop less frequently than in the past, but the experience is always comfortable.

As if the tchotchke filled gift shop wasn’t enough, the food at Cracker Barrel, to me, has always been pretty good. I hadn’t eaten here in years. The last Cracker Barrel I ate at was in Iowa. If you think this Cracker Barrel is a bit on the country side(it is!) the Cracker Barrels in Iowa have waitresses and clientele that look like real life square dancers, and call you«hun’». My favorite dinner used to be the pot roast dinner. I’m sure it’s still good. Today I had lunch here. I ordered the soup and salad special. Beef vegetable soup and a salad with ranch, tomato, cucumber, and chicken. The portion was just right. The soup was really good and comforting! I’m going to make that at home sometime. Simple and tasty. The salad was great. My mom(had the meatloaf lunch) shared her cornbread with me. It was dry but very tasty! When we got the bill, the total for 2 people was only $ 13!!! 2 lunches for $ 13! That’s amazing! Especially for REAL food, not junk or nonsense. Talk about cheap(but effective) eats! We browsed the gift shop after. It was okay. Not as exciting as I remember. The inventory seems like a mix between Kohl’s and a gas station. Ha! Plus now they have an employee walking around to monitor things. Perhaps a Loss Prevention Specialist? She was nice enough but really? I bought some candy, specifically these amazing coconut patties. It’s worth coming here for lunch($ 13 for 2 people!!!) and to browse the gift shop. Get yourself some old fashioned country food and enjoy the people watching too!

This was originally named after the lead singer of the Carpenters, who was very boastful(Bragger Carol). But after her tragic untimely death, they switched it around as a mark of respect, to Cracker Barrel. So basically they have a big wooden casket full of Saltines and they feed you from this trough of salted crustiness and that’s all you get and if you have a problem with it, they stick you in the barrel for a few days to see if you’re still complaining. OK no, I made that up. Lowering this back down to a 3. The food was amazing the 3rd time I came here so I raised it to a 5 despite it being a chain, but the most recent(4th) experience was so poor that I am lowering it and won’t go here again. The Country Fried Steak was just ok… every single side was awful… and the Chicken Fried Chicken was perhaps the worst I ever had. Dry and tasteless and old-tasting. The service was a little better this time. The turnip greens were utterly rancid. Previous review: Our server was awful(I mean severely awful) for many reasons but I’m not really one to care about the service… the food was pure heaven. And the franchise location owner kept popping by to ask if everything was okay which was cool. But now let me get to the food. I’ve eaten at CB before but I don’t remember it ever being this marvellous. I wanted something southern, and southern I did get. I had the Country Fried Steak and it was marvellous, actually better than some of the local places around here, sad to say. I got mashed potatoes and green beans, plus grits for my friend. The beans were good. The mashed potatoes were divine, some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve had. The sweet tea is very delicate but good. The lemonade is very good. Back to reality: yeah I wouldn’t actually recommend this place to anyone, but if you’re into chains it might be worth a try. Stick to the country fried steak or maybe the breakfast. NEVEREVER order the Turnip Greens. They are awful and/or rancid.

J’adore cette chaîné de restaurants américains. Pourquoi?
