This place is perfect for what it is — Fast, cheap, tasty Chinese takeout. You can’t go wrong ordering from here. Just don’t expect to get a $ 20 dinner for $ 7.50, that’s just preposterous.

The food is good. Quick, tasty, and pretty run-of-the-mill Americanized Chinese food. However, I ordered over $ 50 worth of food one week, and they forgot the egg rolls for the lunches, then came back this week after using their online ordering system and even after getting confirmation to my phone, they did not receive the order.(Assuming this may be due to the company they use for online ordering.) However, they literally had me in and out in 5 minutes, so I can’t really complain. :-)

Wish there was an option for negative stars. I was provided their menu as a delivery option for the Hampton Inn, called in an order for General Tso’s Chicken and Hot & Sour Soup. It arrived in 45 minutes, the food was cold, with no utensils provided. The hot and sour soup turned out to be 4 mushrooms in luke-warm water(did they forget the soup?). The entrée was gummy and tasteless. The white rice that came with it was cold, but tasted fine. Would not recommend this food to ANYONE

I ordered from them they told me the price would be 25 and some change, when in fact it was actually more than that. I asked for hot mustard for the free egg roll that I was to receive for spending more than 20 dollars. I was charged for the egg roll and no hot mustard was delivered. I asked for no broccoli and extra saucy on my general tso’s chicken. When I told them that there was broccoli and no extra sauce, «I was told to pick out the broccoli and there is enough sauce on my chicken. «what if i was allergic! They were also late delivering and would not come back to replace the order that was messed or give mustard so I may enjoy my meal. This is the worse I’ve had this whole week I’m buffalo. When Arby’s has better service then this place that says something. I would never recommend this place nor will I ever eat there food again. I don’t even want to give one star for this place. Dry over cooked chicken hardly any crab in my crab rangoons. Just a horrible experience.

Food: It’s just generic Chinese food. Not good, not bad, just is.

Very nice place to have delivery or take out. I love their general chicken and Kao pao chicken. Their Kao pao chicken is the only special chicken in buffalo area.

Many of the reviews for this place(both positive and negative) are a bit suspect, so I felt compelled to write a more detailed review. We got their menu in our mailbox yesterday and decided to give it a try because there was a coupon for free wonton soup with an order of $ 20 or more. To start with the free soup — five stuffed wontons in the soup. I’ve paid for wonton soup and gotten fewer. A few others noted the crab rangoon as a high point, and it definitely is. My wife always orders crab rangoon, and this place has her favorite, hands down. Thin and crispy wrappers, a good amount of spot-on filling. I had a sweet and sour chicken combo plate — tasted slightly crisper/fresher than some others I’ve had, the egg roll was above average, and the fried rice had a lot of pork and flavor. My wife got the orange chicken. Their rendition has nice chunks of orange peel as well as hot peppers. It has more kick than most versions, but it was very tasty. This is, for all intents and purposes. a standard Chinese takeout restaurant. When we want cheap and easy Chinese food this is going to be our new go-to.

Food and service is awesome. I usually order general chicken, they do the delivery, it is quite fast. You can also pick up.

I got take out from here after getting snowed in… minimum purchase was $ 15 plus a $ 2 delivery fee and then of course tips… I ended up spending $ 23 for the crappiest food ever. It was ridiculous. I had kung pao chicken, beef chow mien, and hot and sour soup. This was included with white rice. The portions are enormous so if you’re up for terrible food in large proportions, you’re in the right place. But the food was just terrible. The rice tasted all soapy. The kung pao chicken didn’t seem to have much chicken in them and they were extremely small and there were WAY too much vegetables than necessary. The beef and chow mien had a depressing amout of meat with 80% of just cabbage and onion and then two tiny bags of chow mien fried cracker looking things. The hot and sour soup was probably the one alright thing. Overall, I suppose if you enjoy the food, it’ll be of good value, but I thought the food was terrible. Delivery also took 20 more minutes than they claimed.

I had a craving for Chinese take out. The clerk at my hotel suggested king so I looked up the menu and picked a few of my favorite dishes. Beef lo mein, chicken with cashew, teriyaki chicken, and crab Rangoon. The crab rangoon were pretty good. A little heavy on the green onion but a nice thin Hong Kong style wrapper. The beef lo mein was edible but lacked flavor. Teriyaki chicken was burnt and dried out. But the worst was the cashew chicken. They used the fried chicken pieces you’d normally find in general tsos. Four whole cashews in the entire soggy bland mess. Overall a nasty take out experience.

In a suburban sea of strip-malls and every one of them containing a Chinese take-out place I find«King Express» to be pretty much in the middle of the pack. The service is friendly and the place looks clean and the prices are fair. I think the two things that distinguish it from many of the other places is that they offer combination platters all day long(not just at lunch time)… and they deliver(with a $ 10 minimum and a $ 1 delivery fee). Two of us had a combination platter each and we shared a quart of wonton soup. The soup was better than most with hot and tasty broth and 10(!!!) wontons in the quart(yup…I counted ‘em). The platters were served with roast pork fried rice and and egg roll. The egg rolls were amazing, but I found the rice to be a bit lack-luster. It was simply rice fried with bits of pork… no onions or other veggies, no egg, no pizzazz. My chicken chow mein was fresh and tasty with lots of white chicken slices and crunchy celery and onions. My boyfriend’s General Tso’s chicken was more sweet than spicy, but it, too, was a generous serving of nice, white chicken breast. And for $ 6.95 for each of the platters… plus another $ 2.50 for the soup… it was filling, tasty, and budget friendly(with enough food left over for lunch the next day).

Wow. That’s what I have to say about this place. Food is great, cheap, and plentiful. I first came across this place going to Rivas next door(rest in peace Rivas). I got that college craving for«Chinese» food one day so I ordered one of their lunch specials. Not only was th food done fast, but it was piping hot. What a great deal, too, as you get: One order of Kung Pao chicken(ill use my order as an example you can get many other things), one order of pork fried rice, a side of either soup or an egg roll, two sauce packets, and a fortune cookie. Just. Five. Bucks. That’s right, hot steamy goodness with enough for two people easy for a Lincoln note. This place is outstanding.

You’re average Chinese place … food isn’t anything to brag about. I used to order from there A LOT because you could order online through and it was easy and convenient. But after the THIRD time they forgot the fried rice that comes with my meal, I will never order from there again! Very bad service. They didn’t even offer to deliver me new rice or to give me a discount. Avoid this place. You have plenty of other options.

Ordered from here tonight… Oh & I don’t see where you can order online. This must not exist… anymore? Things I liked: –Crab Rangoons. Even though the filling was a bit sweet, the super thin and crispy wonton wrappers made them amazing. –Chicken in the kung pao. I usually hate this dish because it has weird chopped chicken and tons of celery. This had more bell pepper than celery and the chicken was amazing. Light, fluffy. YUM. –You can order most dishes in a small or large so if you don’t like leftovers or are just feeding one person, you don’t end up with extra. Perfect. Things I just felt middle of the road about: –Sesame chicken was typical of any other Chinese place. –Hot sesame noodles are much better from Wok 28. The noodles were overcooked and gummy and the sauce was more like a peanut sauce and wasn’t mixed very well with the noodles, just dumped on top. Plus there was a huge piece of celery on top. YUCK.(Can you tell how much I hate celery??) –Spring roll was okay. There was some weird taste to it, in the filling– like a barn smells. HA. Odd for sure… Nothing was bad but nothing totally knocked my socks off. Will try from here again, but I prefer Wok N’ Roll if I’m going to head out that way!

King Express has some of the best Chinese take out I’ve had in the area. We commonly go out of our way to order from here rather than the 10 places between here and our house! If you’re feeling caloric… order the rangoons, they’re awesome. The kung pao is one of our favorites and hubby loves the general tso’s(cliché, I know). Last visit, a friend ordered the sesame chicken, which was decent too but close to general tso’s than what I typically think sesame chicken is like. I’m not familiar with the«order online» process another reviewer mentioned, nor could I find it… but 5 stars anyways! Plus after your first order, they remember who you are and your favorites via caller id.
