Walmart Supercenter

It’s Walmart. It’s not gonna knock your socks off.
Truth be told I was very happy to live near a Walmart again. The area around Seattle tends to hate them, so when we lived in that area I had to drive over an hour to get to a Walmart. So I stopped going because Target was closer. But now Walmart is within 10 minutes and they sell almost everything for less than everyone else, so I end up here probably once a week now.
I am consistently amazed at how much less Walmart sells things for than Wegmans, Target or Tops. I buy some grocery items here, but I do not care for their produce or meat at all so never those things. They sell the organic milk with DHA in it for much less than anyone else and my toddler drinks a crap-​ton of it, so that’s on my list. Around the holidays you want a Butterball turkey? Walmart has the best price. If you need something, Walmart probably has it.
I don’t love this store though because they hire bottom barrel type people who seemingly can’t be employed elsewhere because they move at turtle speed. Last time I was here I timed how long I was in the checkout line with one person ahead of me (they and myself both had perhaps 20 items). It was 22 minutes. That’s crazy. The cashier literally could not have done that any slower. Their pharmacy people have a hard time with non-​NY ID’s when buying allergy medicine. Good Lord, the world we live in when buying allergy medicine makes you feel like a criminal.
I like Walmart for having what I need at a good price but I wish they would train their staff to be quicker on the checkouts. If nothing else, Walmart is good for entertainment value.

I like this Walmart! It’s big, it’s well stocked, and it’s less ghetto. I really find alot of things in this location that either never made it to the others, or just sold out quickly. This location is not very close to me, that’s the only down side. I wish it were. But great Supercenter.

If you are so enraged at corporate America taking over from the family businesses, and you took out that rage by putting your fist through the partition between your room and the adjoining room, then how do you fix that big hole in the wall?
Um, it’s obvious. You go to Wall-​mart.

Sellers of all things wall-​related (and non-​wall related), you can buy dry wall, plasterboard, patch-​me-​up (I made that up), you name it. For all of your wall-​related needs. You can even buy drugs for your wall (Wall-​E). OK that’s probably enough of that.
I don’t like Walmart at all, and would usually give every single Walmart I ever have the misfortune of visiting, a ²⁄₅. However this one is fairly new, clean, has pretty low prices (don’t they all), and isn’t too hard to navigate. It definitely helps me out when there are certain things I can’t get anywhere else (or can’t afford). So for that reason it gets an extra star. The service is still horrendous, though, and there are a whole catalogue of things I can’t stand about Walmart. But as far as Walmarts go, I have seen some that were filthy, or falling apart, or completely disorganized and a huge mess. This one is none of those things, so it gets extra kudos from me for that reason.
I don’t understand why they have a new business page though. The store looks exactly the same. Maybe they wanted to re-​boot and get new, more positive reviews. I have no idea.

My caveat is that I generally don’t really like Walmart to begin with. This Walmart is not very well organized, it’s difficult to navigate, and there are a lot of missing items from shelves. If you are absolutely in need, you could go here, but I’d just shop elsewhere if you can.

I have somehow managed to never come to this Walmart, and I doubt I will rush back. Messy areas, loads of employees standing around/​looking at their cell phone/​chit chatting in the middle of the aisle, etc.
I ordered a microwave from the website, but my closer Walmart didn’t have it. While this is usually an easy process, I do not know who decided it would be smart to put the «easy» Site to Store/​website pickup allllll the way in the back of the store. I order online so I DON’T have to go through Walmart.
They must have picked the worst looking box out of the bunch for me, and of course the next day when I set it up, it was broken. Luckily, my closer store had it back in stock, but what a cluster. The checkout lady at the counter was at least nice.
Also, can Walmart employees be trained to say «thanks» or «have a nice day» at the end of a transaction. I was left standing not sure if I had to sign anything else, wait for a receipt twice at two stores because associates just stopped saying anything/didn’t say anything.

My dirty little secret is that well, I kind of love Walmart. Have you seen their prices?! The sheer volume and variety of stuff you can shop here is such a convenience and time saver.
I’ve known people who have worked at Walmarts and have liked their jobs. Have you ever worked mall retail? It’s just as «bad» if not way worse than working for a company like Walmart, but we don’t expose all of those stores for their terrible hiring practices and lack of paying a living wage. Just think about these things before you overly criticize Walmart…
But my review for this store is that it’s hit or miss. Sometimes it’s well organized and stocked. Other times, I’ve been in here and the shelves are nearly bare! The employees always seem pleasant though. The clientele here is mild on the People of Walmart scale. It’s generally clean too. I’m a fan.

This is the cleanest and most well organized Walmart I have ever been to. While walking down the grocery aisles, you could have told me I was in Target, Tops or Wegmans and I would have believed you. Fully stocked, things were in their proper place and I felt like aisles were properly maintained which in most Walmart stores is a rarity. This place doesn’t offer more items, variety or better prices (obviously) than other Walmart centers, however, shopping in Walmart can be stressful because, well, it’s Walmart. This particular store is pretty stress free and although the customer service line may seem really long and intimidating, it moves rather quickly. I can’t give five stars because it’s still a Walmart. Parking still isn’t great and some of the aisles around housewares are a tad cramped.

Renovated? What was it like before? I wrote a review for the «old» listing and store, pre-​renovation I guess. I don’t see any updates though. So I’m going for 2 stars.
This is a large Walmart, like all the rest. The left side (when facing) is grocery and the right side is everything else.
I was here on Thanksgiving early in the day. It was not crowded. The employees were smiling. I would have been totally supportive if they had been closed on a national holiday, but was able to pop in and out quickly since they were open. I knew what I was looking for but since it was so empty I took my time and wandered the aisles for «things I was not aware I was looking for». Today that included ladies socks for the shelter box I am preparing.
Parking here is available and vast, but there were a lot of carts in spaces so drive carefully if you come here.

While traveling cross country we needed to stop and buy some clothing items after running out. This was the closest Walmart to our hotel and it was nice that they were a Supercenter.
This store had a huge collection of items and they had a great variety of women’s plus size options. The store was well organized and the staff here seemed nice enough.
In the end we found exactly what we needed and we were able to get in and out quickly.

It is one of the bigger Wal-​Marts around but the people that go there and the employees are not too friendly. It is quite dirty too inside but it pretty much like any other Wal-​Mart.
