Pizza is delicious! Their sicilian slices are ridiculously good!

This place has the best pizza on Long Island, if you want a great sicilian throwback slice this is the place to go there is no other like it, their regular slice is excellent as well. We’ve eaten in the dining room a few times and the food was good. I highly recommend this place even if you have to drive some extra time like i do. I had to take one star away because at times the help isn’t very friendly. But for pizza, 5 stars all the way !

After seeing they won best pizza in LI for 3 years had to try it. Called on a weekday at 7 and said it would take 40 mins. Pizza arrived at 750 and with much anticipation was hoping wait was worth it. However I was very disappointed. First thing I noticed was that middle of pizza had a small sauce container where normally places have a pizza saver. Ok not sure why they don’t spend for a pizza saver but that was just the start of a negative experience. After that I noticed that pizza was very greasy. Then after taking first bite the crust was on burnt side and sauce tasted average. In fact had dollar slices in Manhattan that were just as good if not better. Needless to say will not be getting pizza here anymore.

The last time we ate here the food was good, but this time this place deserved 2 stars. My mix seafood came out cold and they gladly reheated it. It was good. My wife’s filet of sole franchise had an off taste, I confirmed it, so she didn’t finish her dish. With my pasta side dish, the marinara sauce(how can you mess this up) didn’t taste right either & finally the waitress was too busy to comment. Oh well… I can’t come back…

Greatest Sicilian pizza in NY. I have been going here since I was born and it has been consistently amazing for 31 years. Great family that owns it and great employees. Still haven’t found something on the menu that isn’t fantastic. Great job.

Let’s be honest if you come here and don’t get the Sicilian you are wasting everyone’s time! Best Sicilian I have ever had.

We are new to Long Island and was looking for a good pizza spot. Decided to check out Gino’s based on the Unilocal reviews and the menu they left in our mailbox. We went for the Gino’s Special with 4 toppings. In my opinion, the pizza was just a-ok. Nothing extraordinary that would lead me to crave for it again in the future. When attempting to place the order, the employee kept us on hold for over 5 minutes and was actually surprised that we waited. They told us that it’ll talk about 20 – 30 minutes before the pizza will be ready for pick-up, but when we showed up, it still wasn’t ready. Business seemed ok when we picked up our order — but I probably won’t be going back. For the price I paid($ 24 w/a coupon) — I honestly expected a better quality pizza.

Go to another Gino’s if you can. The staff were rude and the Sicilian slice made me sick.

Never knew there was a Gino’s here, always went to the Great Neck location. Side salad and veal entrees were all very good. Better than your average fare at a pizza place.

There food is usually excellent but then they mess up your order. when u have to go all the way back they try and justify why it was wrong instead just apologizing and giving you the food you paid for.

Oh yeah, this is perfect Long Island pizza. Tons of loaded slices, order one and you are good to go for the whole day(if you’re older than 25). I got a crumbled sausage and broccoli rabe slice, and this thing was not only way bigger than a normal slice(I think they do 6 slice pies for these), but every dripping of oil I wanted to engulf. Excellent quality with a full restaurant attached. When people talk about Long Island pizza, this is it and it might be the ultimate too.

3.5 stars Long island and it’s freaking pizzas. this is why i love home. Obvs got the Sicilian slice and the dough was perfect, the ratio of cheese and sauce was on point and we also got the rigatoni ala vodka. and both were amazing! You know its«authentic» when the tv is in Italian the veterans in there all speak Italian and it just smells amazing. Great price too!

Hit or miss to me, first off it’s NOT the BEST Sicilian pizza in the WORLD! Not even close, sometimes it’s really pretty good, sometimes it tastes like you reheated it out of the fridge after 2 days even when it just came out fresh, I guess those days they use the old dough! Quality has definitely gone down a lot in the last ten years! Best pizza on Long Island??? It’s not even the best pizza on Willis ave!!!

By far the best pizza on Long Island! It’s a real family favorite! Try the rigatoni ala vodka, eggplant parm, and Sicilian pizza! Yumm!

So this is my go to pizza spot on Long Island. The place is divided into two sections, a fancier dining room option or a very quintessential pizzeria. The slices here are larger than normal and have a nice crusty bottom, the crunch from the bottom of the pies are great. The food: Handrolled meatball slice– The hand rolled meatballs are great. The cheese, sauce and crunchy bottom make this a slice worth getting. Chicken Vodka slice– Going to a predominantly white Prep school for high school, all I remember hearing was penne a la vodka, these white kids knew what they were talking about lol So the chicken vodka slice here was great, but unfortunately it was really greasy. Grease oozed out when I cut into it and it felt greasy in the stomach after consumption. Chicken Marsala slice– this was another good slice, the flavors of the Marsala are great, the chicken is nice and tender, and the mushroom are a nice complement. Penne a la Vodka slice– this is essentially a pasta on top of a slice. The penne has nice flavor but it’s too much carb, it’s carb on carb. The first couple of bites are nice but then it gets redundant. Grandma– I thought the flavor was nice and the bottom had a nice crunch. The grandma was a lot thinner than other grandma slices i have had, I enjoyed the grandma slice but it wasn’t very filling. Broccoli Rabe and crumbled sausage– I don’t normally like Broccoli Rabe but this worked on the slice, it was a tad bitter as expected but not too bad. The sausage had good flavor that paired well with the rabe. Garlic knots– a little lacking on flavor but the crunch on the bottom was great.

Gino’s is our Italian Restaurant that we always head to. It is the perfect local place for that quick slice of Sicilian! They truly have the BEST Sicilian ever. No pizza place anywhere comes close. We also head there for our group gatherings. We frequently use them for whatever family party is going on. Their food and appetizers are delicious. They are very family oriented. Everyone knows your name!

Gino’s pizza is «fracka, lacka, lip smacking good!» I wish I had more adjectives to express my adoration for this place. I would give it 10 stars if the Unilocal folks gave me special dispensation. We all had great pizza in New York City. Gino’s of Williston park is no different, other than being located in Nassau county. Great crust, sauce, fresh ingredients and a lotta love and pride in making those pies! No wonder they were voted 2012 best pizza by the Long Island Press. The restaurant is divided into 2 dining areas, typical pizza parlor ambiance, or nice sit down dinner affair. I have never been here for dinner, but my friends swear by the quality and taste of the main entrees like chicken cutlet parmigiana and Scungilli Marinara. Excuse me, while I wipe the drool off my keyboard. Like I said, Pizza is a must, dinner go and try it, I know I will. Can you find a better Pizzeria than Gino’s within the Williston Park area?
