Amarah’s Chocolate has become one of our favorite stops during our vacation. The friendly owner is not only the proprietor, but he’s also the master chocolatier responsible for the finely crafted, small batch confections of this emaculately kept shop. Had we known how superior and exceptional his creations are, we would’ve made it a point to return before our departure. As you step into the unassuming little store front, a wonderland of artisan chocolate beckons you in. From grab-n-go packages to beautifully wrapped gift boxes to custom mixes selected from behind a glistening clean glass case, the selection and quality at Amarah’s Chocolate far exceeds the leading contender located in the heart of Burlington. Even their prices are much more fair than the insanity elsewhere. Mahalo(thank you), Amarah’s Chocolate, for your hospitality and excellence. Aloha and warm regards to you from Hawaii!

Today, I came in for a craving. Chocolate covered gummy bears. I am used to the genetic candies that are sold at every candy store. The ones I got today were far from ordinary. They were fresh, with a nice chocolate coating that had a god crunch to it. You can tell that they use quality gummy bears. I wish I had a bucket full of them! I love how it doesn’t matter what I get, I can always count on quality candies from Amarah’s!

Love the milk chocolate cashews turtles. Friendly staff and a lot of candy and chocolate options. Cards and small gifts too. Amarah’s is worth going into just to look around

BEAUTIFUL!!! Chock full of hand crafted confections striking the right balance of mouth feel and sweet, creamy and oh so chocolate! Hotel recommended the place and a couple of us head out to kill some time. $ 50 later, I walked out with delectable stocking stuffers they put cute little holiday trimmings on. They let us sample their freshly made seasalt caramel chocolate… Milk chocolate decadence with a buttery balanced and firm caramel center, crunchy with a unique sea salt… The perfect bite. Beautiful store, so worth the business. David the master chocolatier and his wife own the business and are happy to talk confections and proud to show off their craft!

I have been in this store multiple, multiple times. Over time I have built a personal relationship with these folks, but I attest that my comments are just what I see, the plain truth. Every time I go into the store, it appears spotless. The owners, David and Angela, are fastidious. I know clean when I see it, having worked as a microbiologist for The Vermont Department of Health years ago. Their selection of candies is huge. But, the quality of their truffles and hand-crafted items are what I rave about. Quality everything, right down to the packaging and service. They offer seasonal products as well, just the best ice cream and Vermont products, Leanin’ Tree cards and such, all just wonderful. The lighting and background music completes the look and feel of this high-end chocolatier! Still, it gets back to the chocolates. I’ve been to See’s Candy, Godiva, Lake Champlain Chocolates, etc. but I will say none of them have the passion and desire to make the very best stuff. David and Angela are gracious enough to explain how they do what they do, although they are certainly under no obligation to do so. My only regret is that they don’t have a store in my area — I’m in California now, and they have their well-managed shop in Vermont. I hope they continue to follow their bliss for many more years, though, and I’ll visit when I can. There is ample parking there, no worries, so no excuse not to check them out., by the way. I mention parking because Unilocal doesn’t have a button for«Ample Parking» in their Parking checkboxes.

This shop is full of delicious shelves of chocolate. The ice cream counter in the back is easy to miss, but worth seeking out if you’re in Williston with a craving for some sweet and fancy snack. My shake cost more than my lunch, but it was made with care and tasted outstanding(wish I wasn’t alone as it was big enough to share, for sure.)
