Famous Dave’s BBQ

Average service for average BBQ. Nothing special here.
Meat was OK. Definitely a disappointment for any fan of solid Texas BBQ.

I love famous Dave’s BBQ but this one has let me down twice now. First time I went with my wife, niece and her family. I ordered brisket and asked for fatty brisket. My brisket was dry and tough. I went in tonight after a long day of working, to give them a second chance and ordered spare ribs naked. My naked ribs came covered in sauce. My buddy ordered a jacked and stacked burger and it had no onion straws. To their credit, the manager and server tonight made it right and brought me out some tasty naked ribs and the missing onion straws. But being a frequent diner at famous Dave’s in Arizona, this franchise here really let me down.

It’s a Famous Dave’s. No more no less. If you like BBQ this is the best around. Smoke and meat and sauce, that’s what this place is all about.

Great staff. Food arrived quickly and the Famous Dave burger was STUNNING! Definitely a come back later place.

Ribs and chicken were filling and delicious as usual. Oh, and thanks for the sauce ;)

Not bad. The food is decent and prices are in line. The brisket was good after a good dousing in BBQ sauce. Ribs were decent. Caution for kids like mine, the Mac n cheese has jalapeño (yum) in it.
In all. Decent and fast.

Good Atmosphere for getting out in Williston. You get a decent amount for what you pay for a meal. Most of the time the service has been great here, no issues with that.
We like sampling the different sauces with whatever meat we order along with a beer or two. Their cornbread is tasty too!
One thing that is hit or miss is that sometimes the meat is dry.

I enjoyed the BBQ brisket. Some of the other cuts were a little dried out, beans and cole slaw were nice
Service hit and miss, gets really busy with the oil crews coming off shift and in for beer and BBQ.
Map to it is not accurate as it is on the other side of the road and across from the hotel. New hotels going up all around it

Mediocre, at best.
I ordered a large dinner for my employees right after they opened.
We had a small work party before the holidays and we should have gone with an old favorite, instead of trying out the new place!
The service was very sad. I waited 30 minutes to get an order that we placed in the morning and had a scheduled pick-​up time for.
Why, you ask?
Well.they gave our order to someone who arrived before us. (Yes, try and wrap your head around having a SET pick-​up time… if it’s apparently first-​come, first-​serve?)
To add insult to injury. most of my staff headed out to Applebee’s after the party because the food was either under-​cooked or over-​cooked, depending on the lucky part you chose.
The ONLY reason they are getting that second star is because I understand growing pains. And I’m a really nice person.
